Green Army NY - First Annual Octokerfest

Hello Soldiers,

An urgent update from Headquarters:

Saturday October 10, 2009 Green Army NY will be hosting the first Annual Octokerfest in Queens, NY. It will be held at Monahan Fitzgerald Pub located @ 214-17 41^st Ave, Bayside, NY 11361. The event will be open bar from 10pm till Midnight with a $30 donation. We will be raffling off various prizes and gift baskets! Of course, the focus of the evening will be to raise awareness for our cause and to raise money for our Legislative Day in Spring 2010. We look forward to seeing all of you there!

Green Army NY appreciates the efforts of everyone and their input thus far on the user-submitted stories for our book! Since our last Newsletter we received an overwhelming response and look forward to more. We are compiling the stories as of now and once we feel we have the proper mix, we will contact the winners whose stories we chose by email – don’t forget – the Soldiers whose stories are picked for the book will receive prize baskets!

We would also like to say thank you to all the folks who have reached into their pockets and supported the cause during these difficult times. Wear your ribbons and t-shirts proudly! Check back in the coming months for items in the commissary. We are making great strides daily, but need more support. We strongly believe a patient’s right to choose their medication – stand with us and help us win this battle. It may not be your battle today, but it could be tomorrow.
