Pot Prices: October 2014 THMQ

Market Analysis: The US Price and Kind indices essentially held steady in October after significant drops in average price last month. The Mids Index, however, dropped $36 from its previous month’s average, plummeting all the way down to just $248 an ounce. That marks a 53-month low for Mids, as the index last finished at $248 in May 2010.

CURRENT KIND INDEX ($350+ PER OZ): $377 ($372, $382)
CURRENT MIDS INDEX ($150-$349 PER OZ): $248 ($284, $272)
CURRENT SCHWAG INDEX ($1-$149 PER OZ): $105 ($103, $101)

The top five submitted strains (with average price) were: Kush ($318), Blue Dream ($283), Diesel ($280), Purps ($328) and Girl Scout Cookies ($417).
