I'm with the others, I'd buy right now if I could use it with my nook, also I bought Geroge Cervantes video ultimate grow and came here from and insert that said i could get a free sample of high times digital download. My idea of free sample wasn't the cover of an issue lol. You lost out on my subscription, I'll still buy a copy here or there from the store though. Tell your marketing dept to stop getting high and offending pot-ential customers. lol

im so xxxx tired of being on the edge of my seat because i have too worry all the time about being random testing with my job...i have been going threw so much b/s,because of it.my hole life all i have ever done was smoke .never drink.or heavy drugs...but they want to no every thing about yr personal life...pre-emply..is one thing i have no problem with tht....but to tk smone off the job 4 a random without any corse is wrong...when will this ever change

I can in a slight way, agree with biggest bro. But the other mags are not better!!! Looker that issue that just came out abbott the plasma lights,,,, and the one a year ago about the led lights. The disappointment that I see is that they do not focus more on growing under the sun. But then again indoor is better suited for small grows and with what they publish I think it would be hard for nico to keep it at 100% quality. .... I don't know that a large team of people could.

I have been a "smoker" since November 1964 when my older brother brought a bag of weed home from college. I grew my first crop the following Spring in 1965. Back then it was easy to just plant all of the seeds I got to germinate since "Big Brother" wasn't snooping around looking for it. I still remember my first crop. 20 plants that were 12-14 feet tall and had I known about male plants and eliminated them, I wouldn't have ruined so much great bud. After it was dry I wound up with 2 large trash bags full of some really sweet herb grown from Mexican seed but it was affectionately referred to a Catskill Mountain weed. :-)

I just got here and haven't "looked around" very much yet but if this website is anywhere close to the magazine I am already thrilled since I spend quite a lot of time online.
Regarding a couple of the posts I skimmed past while scrolling down to add my comments I noticed some mention of marijuana being good for pain management. I have what my neurologist referred to as profoundly extensive peripheral neuropathy and I take a couple of prescription meds to help reduce my discomfort. I am here to tell you that the prescription meds help a great deal but not nearly as well as marijuana which is 100% effective at stopping the pain.

Lately I have been keeping those centipedes that have fish hooks for feet and live beneath my skin from trying to run around by stoning them out with Sour Diesel and a couple of other examples of excellent horticultural success like Master Kush and Blue Mystic. :-)

i was a pot smoker 4 10 years and i just up and quit so all u folks who say it is addicting i just cant see that!! It is all in your head have u ever heard of someone dieing from pot smoking?I have not!!But look at alachol and pills we have heard of lots even thousands dieing each year!!! All im just saying i think pot is safer and better for u as a person then beer and pills just think about it poeple....

When I read all the bullshit about smoking an OZ. per day I cant help to think that you folks that write that shit are part of the reason that we are having the battle for legal meds worse. I don't even smoke an 1/8 around here unless my mom comes over:) " Almost Heaven" I love to hunt and i still can cause of smoke, a tractor trailer ran over my right leg when I was 18, I am a 29 year old female and "smoke" helps me do the things i like to do, need to do(kids)and love to do, except with a screwed on knee and a titanium rod from my hip to my knee.The uncomfortable pains i feel down the backside of my femur and a pinching feeling at the bottom of my ass are nothing compared to the pinching pain in my knee when i step my weight on it.I think it not only helps the pain but,you also forget about it for awhile anyway. PAIN SUCKS!!! SO DO PAIN PILLS!!!! 420 24 7 for me.

i really hate myself for evre saying this out loud. first off i am a prop 215 patient from california, i am 21, i own my own medical marijuana activist company, and its my goal to legalize weeds for all! but i have personally meet (and currently live with) a person who in fact is addicted to marijuana. (once again that hurts to say) i have never before seen a case such as this. the second pot of any kind is gone he freaks out to near meth addict praportions. some times these blow outs are violent other times not. but this is 1 in trillion cases where as with meth its like what 1 out of 5? pot should be legalized. this war is not on marijuana or drugs its the government trying its damndest to keeps us all brain washed. KEEP SMOKING AND SEND GOOD THOUGHTS TO JACK HERER!

I smoke a lot of medical marijuana, throughout the day. These people who claim to smoke an ounce a day obviously don't smoke GOOD mary jane. Also, if you want to conserve your buds longer, I highly recommend getting a vaporizer. It's the cleanest, purest way to smoke, and you get more of a true taste of the bud you are smoking, rather than torching it with a butane lighter and tasting that w/ your precious nugs.
I am thankful I live in MT, where I can finally be legal. I hope many more states will join the medical marijuana world in 2010, and be on our way towards legalizing. I used to drink a lot of alcohol to help w/ the pain, now I don't drink at all. I feel so much better! Thanks for all your valuable information High Times, you guys do a ton of research and inform the public, keep up the great work!!

Moderation in anything is what is important. i myself, a 31 yr old 145 lb female can burn down a forest of 2-4 oz in a month.

I smoke because it helps with my PTSD ( thanks uncle SAM) PMS, Asthma, Myofacial tenderness ( constant nerve pain) back px and general over stimuli from stupid ignoramus people.

It is a SAFE herb. I have recommended it as a health care practitioner for numerous issues. i myself am working on a strain for asthma.

the possibilities are endless, and they will only end if we let Them let us.

Nothing worth fighting for comes easy and in a day.

The harder they fight back, the more right we are.

keep up the good fight, stay smart, get educated and bring down the green rain!!

The Trith is... Marijuana is NOT Addictive.... I've smoked it sense 76... Then off an on sense 2005...(And quit for years) Plus... it doesnt make u want u 2 do more harmful drugs.... Its Only u that makes u wanna do harder stuff.... If Your stupid enuff 2 do it... Your stupid enuff 2 die from it...

weedman_420 - all kyte was saying is that people need to be smokers that are actually productive as well. haha i don't think that's too much to ask for. i smoke a lot of weed - but i chose to only do it when i get home from work - that's just my choice - it's an easy way to relax and end my day. if people smoke all day (an ounce a day) and sit on their couch the whole day, hey do what you want. "I'm not here to judge the way you be." he was just saying (and i agree with him) that the non smoker type of people look down on anyone who smokes weed - because there are a few smokers here and there that are a complete waste of life. too much of anything (even something as amazing and valuable as marijuana) CAN BE bad. just my two cents.

Illinois is waiting with baited breath for Medical Cannabis to be legal. Me and group of friends are starting to come together to help raise awareness on this subject.

If you are in Illinois, are thinking about becoming a patient or caregiver or even if you know someone who is, You Are Invited to our Illinois Friendship House Meeting.

It's a TALKING meeting, not a TOKING meeting. Not everyone there is a smoker.

Until SB 1381 is passed we will be meeting on a monthly basis in Naperville and on the South side of Chicago with more locations popping up all the time. We share experiences and find ways to band together to help this bill PASS!

After it does pass, we will be meeting more frequently (weekly or bi-weekly) to discuss growing, medicating, and anything related to Medical Cannabis.

If you want to join us and/or possibly help start a Friendship House in your area, please shoot me a message and tell me why you are interested. I will send back the when and where.

I just subscribed and I chose the digital edition. I hate to be the only critic but If I could do it again I would have picked the print edition instead. I wish I could swap my subscription. The reason being is that the Zinio software used to view the magazines is buggy and slow. Viewing them online using the Zinio browser plug-in works perfectly but If you download the magazine and view it off-line, using the installed Zinio software, the experience becomes more frustrating than functional.

Offline pages are slow to turn. Zooming in and out is choppy and slow. Can’t grab and scroll the pages while zoomed in. Can’t rotate the page for viewing pages printed sideways.

Needs a lot of work. Right now I think the online edition should be 10 bucks for 12 months. It's too frustrating an experience to warrant full price.

well ill be damned...you know i had a thought about this one day when i first browsed on the site...cuz i had an issue and lost it or got thrown away or something and so i was tryna find an article that was in the mag on this site but i only found certain things relevant to the mag here and there ..so i was like i wish they had something where i can basically go through the issue like i do at home but online...instead of clicking on these random links tryna find it..and now look...a hightimes subscription online...you guys are cool...*tear falling* i love you guys...youre definitely my favorite mag..hell ill prolly still buy the mags from the stores just so i can have some of the glossy pics but a digital sub sounds nice...now dont get me wrong i still love the site as is cuz the headlines keep me on here daily...so..having access to all three is all the merrier...

Right now there are no back issues.
The issue we are featuring (Cannabis Cup Issue) is the only one in the system at the moment.

In the future we may have all our old back issues available here, but at the moment they are not. We will be adding all our new issues here as they are published. New issues of HIGH TIMES will be available in digital format on the day the print issue hits newsstands.

As per paper subscribers, there is no access for them to the digital edition at the moment - digital and print are currently 2 different subscriptions, possibly in the future we will offer digital editions with print editions.
