October 25, 2006 - The suspense is over, stoners. Last night at BB King’s in New York, the 6th High Times Stony Awards were handed out in a packed club filled with celebrity stoners.

Weeds and Grandma’s Boy both snagged three Stonys each. Weeds was named Best TV Series and also won the Best Actor (Justin Kirk) and Best Actress (Mary-Louise Parker) awards in the TV categories. Grandma’s Boy was named Best Stoner Movie and also took the Best Actor (Allen Covert) and Best Pot Scene awards in the movie categories. A Scanner Darkly was named Best Movie/Drama.

Tommy Chong was also a big winner. He was named Top Pot Comic and a film about his life, a/k/a Tommy Chong, won for Best Documentary.

Jeff “The Dude” Dowd was given the Stony Achievement award for inspiring The Big Lebowski.

Among the winners and presenters at the Stonys were Jenji Kohan and Justin Kirk (from Weeds), Adrianne Curry and Chris Knight (from My Fair Brady), Charlie Murphy and Donnell Rawlings (from Chappelle’s Show), Zach Galifianakis (from Dog Bites Man), Ann Druyan and Allen St. Pierre (from NORML), directors James Toback, Nicholas Jarecki, Josh Gilbert and Gillian Grisman, Penthouse Pets Aria Giovanni and Krista Ayne, rock star Ryan Miller (from Guster) and Dowd.

Hip-hopper Redman and comedian Doug Benson hosted the Stonys. Benson (from Best Week Ever) won the coveted Stoner of the Year award. Redman performed a 25-minute set after the awards concluded. The night ended with a short set by Herbal Nation and Divadelic (featuring George Clinton’s granddaughter, Sativa.)

Me and my bud were lit one day. Walking down the street we see 3 flying disk's rotating off in the distance and moving towards us. As it got closer I ask if he saw any wings or anything that might tell us it was only a plane. He said to me , no and I asked him then if he saw 3 flying saucers like I am seeing and he told me yes. Right t hen I got the feeling that these UFo's know , that we know they are there. Really strange, then it crossed my mind that this is how it all ends. The moved with in 1000 feet of me and my fried and then moved off at a very fast speed, but the way it moved away was very odd. almost like a time lag where it would move at bursts of speed faster and faster. Well I don't know if they ae alien or man made but I tell you they really exist!. /

hang buds to dry in cool dark place for ten days, then trim off leaf, put in sealed jar for a day, take buds out for a day. put buds back in jar for a day, and take out. Always checking to make sure you dried them, twig snap test should be done prior to jar sealing.

My friend just got fresh Northern Lights with the leaves still on it, it needs to be dried and trimmed but we don't grow ourselves. we would appreciate anyones help with instructions on how to dry and trim.

I e-mailed the producers of WEEDS and tried to get them to use Stashitwear and Parincess Pheiress wear in some of the scenes on the show. I suggested a scene where the Dealer is lounging around in her Stashitwear. She is with another person and they are waiting for a phone call. She puts the cell phone on vibrate, places it in her stashitwear and explains, "This is how me and whoever reach out and touch each other." Or, " I can't keep those damn telemarketers from calling so at least I will enjoy the call." Corny but. The show is about POT. I don't sell Stashitwear for that reason but Phone companies don't sell phones for POT dealers to use but they show phones being used by the POT dealers on the series. www.stashitwear.com for protection from pick pockets. You would have to be dead not to feel a hand go in this pocket. The produces were not amused. Damn its hard breaking into Hollywood. Travel safely.

Yeah , I first bought the soundtrack too Grandma's Boy, after a couple months after the movie had been out. It was in the movie's for like a week here in chicago. I bought it on dvd two weeks ago watched it 8 times. Funny, its up their with halfback, tommy boy, and fraggle rock.
