In case you haven’t already heard, the 11th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos is just around the corner. The Gathering will take place August 12-15 in Cave In Rock, Illinois. In addition to the Insane Clown Posse, the event boasts a slew of acts ranging from musicians to comedians to wrestlers. This year's gathering was my 3rd gathering and I had a blast. So many people, coming from all over, to spend time with eachother, and support the underground. The Gathering is ICP's event but there are several underground artists that perform. There are a few extream juggalos that have given the gathering a bad name, but for the most part, the other juggalos that are there are smoking and drinking and sharing the music.

The only complaint I do have is there are too many hard drugs there and too many people not taking care of them selves. For all my younger family members out there, if you are going to do drugs like X or Shrooms, please drink enough water and EAT!!! Its stupid to be drinkin and gettin fucked up in 100 degree heat for 4 days. We need to spread the juggalo love and help one another. I know everybody wants to make their money, but selling water and faygo for 2 and 3 dollars is rediculas! What happened to hookin your family members up. Smoke a blunt with them, don't try and rip them off by selling them some dirt weed calling it kb. As you can see there are too many haters alrady trying to bring us down. Its up to us to lift eachother up. For all of you out there who say much clown love, make sure you really are loving.

Nobody is claiming that the ICP fans are perfect but they are 100 percent in love with their music. Personally some of it is cool and some I could do without. That's it. Yeah, Juggalos are pretty fucking silly, but "to each his own," I say. Anyway, I helped do security a few years back when it was at Nelson's Ledges in Ohio and I had a fucking blast. And I bet a lot of the naysayers who have commented so far about this would have fun too. It's like going to a dive bar, ya know? Like slumming it for fun. And you can say what you want about these silly fuckers about they had TONS of good drugs and weren't afraid to share. i attended last years gathering, it was also my first. my wife and i both had a blast. people that diss it dont understand what its about. calling juggalos "wannabe gangbangers" you need to go and you will change your whole outlook on it. its not about people as individuals but a group as a whole, its a place where those that feel like misfits in their daily lives can and will be accepted. its all about FAMILY!!! they may not be your brother or sister but they will respect you like one!!! maybe even more than your real family ever has! Actually, there was an average of 22,000 people that attending the Gathering of the Juggalos last year, I included; and compared to your "normal" music festival, thats a lot! When I first went I wasn't a big fan of ICP or Psychopathic Records, but I thought I'd give it shot. It didn't take more than 20min of being there to change my mind about the music or the people. If the all around respect and sharing nature of everyone there isn't enough to make you feel welcome, the MASS QUANTITIES of well, to put it lightly, Herbs and other substances will. Not only were there large amounts but everything that found us was 100% legit. So please, you should really experience it for yourself before you put it down.

i would like to thank high times for being smart enough to see a pocket of people that are loyal to a group and have a disposable income and using them to get more hits on their website and possible a couple more subscription.

They are here, They are not going any where, and they probably don't give a fuck about what people think especially people that think they are on an elevated level (in society) to them. you feed the fire by spreading the hateful word this is what they use to sell their product. have you ever been stepped on by some one well hell look heres a group of people that are like you and can relate and guess what they have cool shirts and other trinkets that will set you even further apart and get them deeper in your wallets. every hateful sentence you make is another 20 to x amount of dollars they make by proving the world shits on people that are diffrent and like a diffrent type of music then them. some deals seem small others seem big but its all in the eye of the person preaching for or against it and by all the hate you give you make it a big deal.

Oh and by the way lmao, I actually gave it a shot and tried listening recently. Thinking just maybe I should give a little more credit, but boy was I proved wrong, waay wrong. Now maybe it's because its a new song, and generally artists of old tend to suck at making new material. But there "Miracles" song sounded like a bunch of 4 year olds came up with it. I mean, I was so shocked at how much it just.....sucked. Least the concept was good, I'll give em that. So now go fourth and tell me that I didn't listen to the "good" ICP shit, and that I don't know anything about music in the first place :)

The main fact of the matter is, ICP creates a gathering of rude,violent, unintelligent, obnoxious jackasses. Who's sole purpose is to "get fucked up" and party. It's a breeding ground for criminals/gangs to share there stories and create more havoc.I"m completely fine with musical expression in any form, do what you want. ICP have had success, I"m happy for them, though I think the message they send contains nothing of value or wisdom, I think whats worse is how the people act and take it to a whole new level, and turn it into something more than it should.
