BISHOP: couldnt get a msg to send from my email..a net, or trellis, is used to promote even growth amongst the tops of your plants. Without a net, the tops, or colas, of your buds will grow straight at the light source meaning you need to move your lights up or else the plants will burn while the lower buds lose their light source due to the intensity being reduced by the increased distance to the lights. The horizontal placement of the net will keep the tops of all your plants to grow to a certain height without the tops burning. Doing this creates a 'canopy' of bud tops which will then get even, adequate light. Called the 'sea of green' or 'screen of green' method. works good with lots of smaller, multi-topped plants.
The reason I like reg seeds as opposed to feminized seeds is that that reg seeds I used actually worked as opposed to the feminized I bought that didnt work worth shit. Plus if you want to grow a good seed crop, you cant do it with feminized seeds. A good seed crop of a good strain will be good to have because seeds can be stored easily with no need for care and used when you need them.
Glad you liked the cloning video..lots of helpful info in getting started.

JON E: You ever try auto-flowering strains? I'm hesitant about feminized seeds when you can get the regulars and clone till your green in the lungs. AND cloning cuts off a few weeks of the grow cycle since they are all ready to be vegged. They charge like 3 times as much for feminized as opposed to regs. I think the only benefit for feminized is you can plant a guerilla crop, leave it be and not worry your ladies are being turned into a seed crop. Just my opinion. nice nugs by the way

buy feminized seeds and save some time. veg up one seed, cut some clones, flower the mother plant to get used to the flowering pattern, build up your clones, take one of the clones that you all ready have built up and cut more clones,
flower the clones from the mother plant and repeat as many times as you want or until you get tired of somking that strain.
when you flower, watch towards the middle and end of flowering, some feminized seeds will end up being hermies. which isn't bad cuz those seeds will be female as well, you are just gonna have seeds in you pot.....sell them 2 your friends.

TREESUS: if the trichomes still apear clear, let em go longer. if they appear cloudy, pluck a couple buds and give them a taste test/potency test. What kinda strains you growing and how long into flower?
AJM: I use Wegener's Liquid Organic for veg, Botanicare PureBlend Pro organic for soil and coco and then add Massive Bloom Stiumlant, Liquid W-8, and XXX-Treme Uptake as additives. Use that mix, then water, then mix, then water...just allow the week or two at end of flower to flush out with straight water.
BISHOP: Im gonna build a growbox just for 3-4 mother plants. When I get it figured out, Ill shoot the plans your way.

stick with the CANNA, its premium ferts, i cant find it in the grow stores in my area. i use bonticare organics. its kinda mellow, i've never had it burn plants before. try to stay away from fox farm unless you are using dirt, its very strong and will burn some plants quick.
i always say "stick with what you know..."
i almost forgot...

We are interested in knowing of similar products that will be as handy and also a few less $�� dollars in other words! That we can get here. I have some out door plants and they look great. I think they need about another week or so before they are ready to be picked. I am supposed to have about 3 days of rain coming up, should i pick now? Im in the NE, temp is supposed to go into the 60s as well. please help if u can! these are my babys, but this is my first time ever doin this and i cant believe how good it looks. pics comin soon so we can all enjoy!

gstlab3: need odor control? Look into the ONA odor neutralizers. They keep good odor control for about 3 months before you need to replace the can of spray. It doesn't just try hide the smell, it neautralizes it. Works good since it has a number of automated programs (day/night/24 hr, spray every 7.5/15/or 30 mins) and runs on 2 "C" batteries.

Jon E: post some pics of your garden, I'm interested in seeing what the garden of someone that knows everything about everything involving ganja happens to look like. Bishop: Those lights are good for small operations for sure, and YOU CAN easily drill the sides to add small fan with ventilation ducting for easy heat removal. AND when you remove the heat from your room that way, you don't need to worry about carbon filters or odor since that air never really is in your garden.
Nice shots on the buds, buds. When I get my camera all charged up, I'll share some shots of my first and second grows.
