I just harvested my Hawaiian Kona buds. Plants only got to 5 feet tall, but the bud on top was over 14 inches long. I grow under prop 215 California compassion act. I submitted a few pics to the "PIX" section on Sept. 26th. If they post one or all of them, you will see a light green light weight bud, with about 50% of the white hairs turned brown. I wanted an equal mix of head high, and body high. The longer you wait, the more of a body high you get. My bud gets you from both directions, and hits ya very quick. An excellent middle of the night weed. One hit, and you can snuggle back to dreamland. My Kona bud also give you a mean case of munchies, which is why I use it primarily. The chemo I go through tends to make one quite sick to the stomach. I plan to post more to this magazine and website, so if anyone has any questions, I will try to answer them as soon as possible.

I have some questions concerning air filter systems. Im not concerned about smell as much as the heat.could I build an air cleaner that not only gets rid of the smell, but also blows the filtered air right onto my lights to help cool them?

hey guys, i'll let everyone in on a little secert about harvesting.......when the flowers on the tops of you colas start to grow in a spiral and start stacking up like a "fox tail"(you'll see what i mean when your plant does it) your plant is on its last little kick and wants to be chopped down soon. as soon as you notice that the very tops have stopped growing, look at the hairs, i say 70% red/orange/brown/purple/pink, whatever color you have its time to cut....i hope this helps you guys out, and when you see it on your plant i hope you remember this and smile cuz its almost time to smoke!!!

organicman.....start looking around the 8th week. you can either go by the red hairs or trichomes. my rule of thumb is when 70% of the buds have red hairs, or the trichomes only have a couple of clear tips left, the rest of them should have somewhat cloudy tips is when i pick. if the tips turn red on the trichomes, you waited to long. now when you smoke it you will get a real "sleepy" kind of high.
this is all from experience and thats when most of your questions are answered.
If anyone has any q's. throw them out there.

i know of a method where people spray their pot to make it weigh more. you either have lysol laced pot or it might have some mold in it, where it was stored/transported in my have been bad, or you just got some really bad pot.

i'm not sure, it looks like its under a LED light. lots of crystals.

i've never done auto-flowering before. from what i know about them is they dont get very big. i had some plants show me sex under 24hr of light before, i thought it was odd but they were about 3 feet tall when they did that. now whenever my plants show sex on their own, i throw them in the flower room.(i call it the hyperbolic time chamber) to me that means that they are ready to throw some dank nugs.
