This is the most BEAUTIFUL strain I have seen. what kind is it?

Jon-E

Oct 19 2009, 1:28 pm

i dont know everything, but whenever i think of something i go try it out. my friends and i all have indoor opps so i'm around it all the time. i have enough seeds that i can watse some on experiments. in my opioion GH products leave a residue in either your resiviours or in your dirt. after i've used some of there ph down and shit like that you can feel the residue on your fingers. i dont like that. i use botanicare everything plus bat guano and budswell + a couple of "secerets". all i'll say is that its is widely used in Humbolt county, CA.
one plant maybe 20" tall throws me 2 1/2 to 3 oz.(whiteberry)

Bishop: here is a site that I referenced often in the past. there is good information in there.

http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7429.html

Scroll down to Table 1 and you can click on the common name to see pictures of each variety.

A variety of neem oils did control them, but only AzaMax completely eliminated them. (all products were applied as a foliar spray)

Best plats to grow are White Widows, u can keep them under 3ft, and they take about 9 weeks from seed. And they give off killer bud.

The mites arent bad at all. i was using einstein oil but neem oils dont seem to work very well at killing pests and there eggs. im gonna be trying some stuff called azatrol, its a lil pricey but ive been told it works wonders.

grassmaster please no advice. i add something to my resiviors to make my buds grow very heavy. i want the shock of 12/12. and everything you said i all ready know.
thanks anyway.

To the guy who has spider mites: go to the garden section at walmart and get a product called Garden Safe fungicide 3.
its a fungicide, insecticide and miticide. and its organic if you care.
turn down the AC in your room and try to keep it at about 70* or colder, its slow their metabolisim and allows you to take care of them, also slows down the amount of eggs they lay. once you have taken care of them turn the Ac back up to about 74 to 76 degrees. and for the future you can spray you plants with it once or twice a week before you flower them and you shouldn't have any future problems.

Oct 13 2009, 4:27 am

Try a new product by General Hydroponics called AzaMax. I have never used it on spider mites, but I had thrips and nothing would get rid of them until I tried AzaMax. Absolutely no side effects. Organic too. If it works as well on your mites as it did on my thrips, say goodbye! Also, mites will never go away unless you correct the reason they got there in the first place.

I have a indoor garden, all plants in the flowering stage. I have a spider mite infection that has been organically controlled so far. As for control, it only keeps the activity to a minimum. Are there any tried and proven methods of safely removing said pest without affecting my eventual nugs? I have heard of using diluted dish detergent and water or ever diluted rubbing alcohol. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Jon-E: You could save yourself 6 hours of electricity per day and still get your plants to trigger as quick by veg'ing under 18/6 and introducing your bloom nutrients a week before you switch to 12/12. When you introduce your bloom nutrients, back off your veg nutrients by 50% and add your bloom nutrients at 50% strength. If you insist on getting the most growth you can out a given amount of time (let's say a maximum of 12 days) you could use a 20/4 cycle. Seriously, it is important that you give your plants some rest on a daily basis. This allows the plant to 'renew' it's growth vigor everyday. Plants that are under constant stress are not happy plants, and happy plants give great results. Every time.

I have found, through my experience (with the genetics that I am using) that going from a 24/0 to a 12/12 made the plants ripen several days earlier with a (slightly) diminished yield. It lead me to believe that such a drastic change in the light schedule caused the plants to stress out and go into a "frantic flowering mode". The expatiated growth mode that resulted with a shortened flowering time and diminished yield was most likely a defense mechanism to the stress it experienced.

Jon-E

Oct 12 2009, 1:05 pm

yo, eastend, the fastest flowering period is about 7 1/2 weeks. and thats not from seed, only flowering. its up to you how long you want to veg. you want something around 8 weeks or longer if you want some good smoke. as soon as you have a good root structure, veg for a week or two under 24 hr of light, then put it on a 12/12 cycle. the sudden change in dark will make them throw sex a lil earlier(from what i've experienced). and then BAM, 8 weeks later big ol' fat nugs.

Jon-E

Oct 12 2009, 12:58 pm

buy a light that has a ballast already. if you bought it from home depot ot lowes, then you prolly bought a shop light and they do require a little electrical work.(contecting a plug and ballast). they are made like that so when they get put in a "shop", the electrician can run wires and put the ballast where ever he needs to. buy lights from a hydroponic grow store. a good one i've ordered from is HTGsupply.com. or sunshinehydro.com. those lights pretty much come plug and play and they have T5 lights. hope it helps
whoever grew the last one on the left(bottom),
GREAT JOB!!

bishop420536

Oct 12 2009, 12:20 pm

can any one tell me about ballast? why do you need a ballast?
I have two T-8 floros dont have hooked to ballast. isn't the ballast something separate of the light itself?

fuck the "Los Angeles" Angels of Anahiem.... they don't even know what county they are in ffs. They are in Orange County not Los angeles. They should be the OC Angels, or just the California Angels is fine. But not the LA Angles, when they arent even in LA county and plus there is already a team in LA county. Go dodgers. at least they don't try to pretend like they are from a different , more popular, county to try and make more money.
