just starting up growing a crop sick and tired of paying for bad smoke time to grow the quaility any ideas of breed to give the best smoke yeild not needed just great smoke will keep updated on progress

i just moved from louisiana to west v.a. (well a few months ago) well i cant get my plants past 8" without them dieing. but i never had this problem in louisiana..theres no bugs temp. and humidity are good also and everything esle that worked in louisiana i tried here and the plants wont last...i need to figuar something out b/c no one around where i live sells or grows...help!!!

stay away from pure indicas or sativas. you need almost a 1,000 watts per plant and a flowering time of anywhere from 10-15 weeks to have them mature properly.
go with a 60/40 or 70/30 type. it doesn't matter which way you go, indica/sativa or sativa/indica.

sounds like you have dirt gnats. they aren't really a problem unless you let them get out of control. this is what you do the next time you water your dirt:
1.ph balance your water (6.0-6.5)
2.have someone ready w/ your bug spray
3. water your plants slowly, the gnats will come up out of the dirt, they crawl a little before they fly off
4.now you and your help can pinch them off the top of the dirt or spray them before they buzz off. they usually dont fly too far or high away from the plants.
repeat until they are gone. get the spray from wal-mart called: garden sray 3. miticide, insecticide, fungicide.
and remember to always be clean when you ENTER your room.

They are in veg stage. my room was super clean! I think they are in the dirt cause that plant was brought from outside
cant control humidity. I have killed anything moving! can I get that at wal-mart? plant is about 12". could I pull plant change dirt and replant? would that even help?

If your plants are still vegging give them a heavy coat of einstien oil. should fixem right up. If they are buding its more tricky, cause you dont want anti bug products affecting the tast of your buds. seal your gow area off and keep it emaculately clean. Drop the humidty in the room from a normal range of 40-50% down too 30-25% and while the light is on try and pickem all off. hopefully it isnt an insect which nests in the plants/buds.

I found a bug on one of my girls this mourning. Upon further inspection I found 2 more in the soil. Little black things with wings. Anyone have any idea what the fuck they are? How do I get rid of them? Do I have to clean my whole room?

the plant stalks are hollow. how hot/humid is your room?
did you feed them enough N in veg? are you running hydro or soil? there is multi reasons why it happened.
if your growing the plant need some attention EVERYDAY, even if its just a peak in to see if everything is still hanging up or, make sure nothing fell or just to ckeck the temp.

Hey new comer you have/had a mold problem. In most strains it seems "stematic" meaning it starts in the core of the stem and rots your plants from inside out. They do just die off but it takes a week or so of some HEAVY mold. The rain and cool temps do not help either during harvest time. The joys of growing outdoors! You need to watch your plants and then if mold appears it is kind of a waiting game maturity vs. death. You cut that bud off just below rot spot before the mold gets to widespread, if not then your just diminishing your returns. Good luck next time, Peace.

say i was growin a wonder woman n it was doin fine.but when it was in it 3rd week of flowerin it just up died on me.when i cut it down i could c that the whole branch was hollow what u think could b the case..it would help alot 2 no so next plant would not meet the same faith.
