A STONER'S GUIDE TO VANCOUVER

Vancouver, British Columbia, is the heart of Canada’s burgeoning marijuana marketplace. Stores that cater to beginning and advanced marijuana growers dot the townscape, and in every neighborhood you can find a thriving smoke shop. Best of all, acquiring great seeds for your garden is easy. Growers have a number of top outlets available locally to fulfill all their seed needs.
However, there’s much more to “Vansterdam” than just the phenomenon of B.C. Bud—but getting stoned makes the city all the more enjoyable. Vancouver lies in a magnificent setting. Evergreen forests grow nearly to the city limits, while the protective Coast Mountains and warm winds blowing in from the Pacific help give the city a surprisingly mild climate, with an average temperature of 53 degrees.
When the city fathers were planning Vancouver in the early 1900s, the intention was to put the downtown area in North Vancouver, but the skyscrapers sprouted up across the narrows from North Vancouver, on a little peninsula. In time, the financial and commercial center, hotels, marinas, cruise ship terminal, and Canada’s highest-density neighborhood, the West End, took root there.
It may take a little time to understand the drastic difference in location between Vancouver’s West Side and West End, and West Vancouver. The Kitsilano district offers great restaurants and shopping, while the neighborhood around Commercial Street is known as the city’s counterculture district. Grab a map and orient yourself. Most visitors will enjoy Vancouver to its fullest if they embrace the outdoors, as the residents do. In the city, walking, rollerblading, and biking are local obsessions. The nearby mountains offer sensational challenges to hikers, climbers, and skiers, while fishermen can test their skills every month of the year. The summertime beach scene is an experience not to be missed. As for food, few cities offer Vancouver’s diversity of dining choices—and cannabis is appreciated almost everywhere as a tip.

Peddling on Pot
Rent cruising bikes from Denman Bike Shop (710 Denman, [604] 685-9755). Ask for the cooler on wheels. Fill it with ice and three times the appropriate amount of beer or other spirits, and tow it behind your big cruiser. Take a tour by the Vancouver Yacht Club. The historically relevant gun goes off at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Ride around Stanley Park, go under Lion’s Gate Bridge, past the beaches, and then back to the bike shop. There are lots of places to stop, drink, and get high. Your bike must have a bell; it’s the law.
If you’re a little more hard-core, you’ll want to do some downhill trail riding on the North Shore.
Skiing for Stoners
If you’re in Vancouver during the winter and have Alpine inclinations, make sure you visit one of the North Shore ski slopes. The choices are Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour. Grouse offers magnificent views of the city and islands, especially on night runs. Leaving vapor trails on the chairlift or resting in the glades by the warm glow of your pipe’s cherry are lovely ways to be a ski bum. Take the “ganjola” up to the restaurant for dinner and drinks with a view.
If you have a bit more time, check out Whistler Blackcomb. For steep, expert conditions, try Nelson’s Whitewater in the Kootenays, Red Mountain near Rossland, and Big White near Kelowna. Other cool places worth checking out are Apex near Penticton and Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Further north is the powder heaven of Chetwynd. If it’s a cold year with lots of snow, even Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island deserves mention.
The interior ski resorts have smaller queues and constant snowfall that often impairs vision. The snow in the Coast Mountains range where Whistler’s located is a little heavier than in the interior, where it’s so fine and dry it’s called “champagne powder.”
Whistler is a full-fledged ski town with a thriving social scene, many bars, shops, and restaurants, backcountry options, and even helicopter drops for the hard-core. Every house and hotel room seems to be equipped with a hot tub.
The smaller resorts in the interior of the province have a selection of bars and restaurants, but not nearly as many as Whistler. A major plus in Big White is that you can ski to bars and restaurants, and to the chairlift, from where you’re staying. You never have to use a vehicle for the duration of your visit.
For ski holidays, fly to Vancouver and catch a connecting flight to hidden gems in the interior like Sun Peaks and Silver Star near Vernon. In a good year, the interior resorts are open by the middle of November, with the best snow falling in January and February.
When buying buds at ski resorts, you’ll usually get a slightly better deal in the larger towns or the cities. Many chairlift operators deal pot but charge premium mountain prices.
Nudists and Beerball at Wreck Beach
Numerous beaches around town are great places to chill out and get high. From Stanley Park to Wreck Beach, the seaside is nearly all beach. As you walk at the bottom of the cliffs towards Point Grey, you’ll find little groups of guitar-playing trippers.
Past Point Grey and Spanish Banks you hit Wreck Beach, the only nudist beach in Vancouver. You can get anything you want there: cannabis, pot food (brownies, cookies), mushrooms, other drugs, and even free love. In the summer, get a haircut while you’re butt-naked with a mixed drink in one hand and a big joint in the other.
Beerball at Wreck Beach is a local custom. Logs have drifted in over the years, and some industrious folks “planted” a forest of them like telephone poles of various heights on the beach. A can is placed atop one of the poles. The object is to knock the can down with a volleyball and win a free beer. Picture 30 naked stoners wrestling for control of a volleyball. At sunset, fires get lit and the drum circle pounds out throbbing rhythms.
No description of Wreck Beach would be complete without mentioning the stairs. Walking down is easy, but at the end of the day, many a burnt stoner has had trouble making the trek back up. Be kind and help those in need. You might be one of them.
Scoring B.C. Buds
Like anywhere, Vancouver offers schwag, top-quality buds, and everything in between. If someone shows you garbage, move on. You’re never too far from stoned people, so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting stocked and stoked.
An eighth-ounce of respectable indoor costs C$40 (US$30). A quarter-ounce should run C$50–70. Ounces usually retail for an average of C$200, creeping up to C$300 for the ultra kind. Since 9/11, local prices have declined; the tightened-up border has put a dent in the export market.
Mushrooms are usually cheap and plentiful. Ounces of Psilocybe cubensis can be had for as low as C$100. Ounces of local liberty caps will run a little higher if they’re picked at their peak.

No 'headshop'/weed cafe/bong place let's you buy there obviously. Even Amsterdam passed a law banning tourists from buying weed from the cafes now. Call a driver or take $20 to the Cambie ATM and wait for some guy to sell you a bag. Go back to the Marijuana Party vape place upstairs and smoke it. Often there's hash guy's in there handing it out if they already see you smoking (not the staff).
If drivers are unreliable it's cos you aren't buying enough :D Get your friends to do a group buy and get an ounce you save money/have more weed.

That's because the police routinely sent in undercover cops to bust weed cafe's. Blame them. If you were a cop and she told you to go across the street and buy they'd arrest her and shut the place down as they're looking for excuses to shut down BCMP/Amsterdam
You could've walked around the corner to the ATM machine @ The Cambie (literally a 1 minute walk) and bought right there on the street

and the Moral of the Story: It's so odd that Vancouver has this image as a pot-smokers haven. I mean, where's the culture and the spirit of community when places like BCMP that purport to be big supporters of the marijuana community, but act like you don't even exist when you politely ask them a way to buy the stuff without having to ask every single, douche-bag on the street that may or may not have any at all. Well, for those who are new to Vancouver, this is a city that still very conservative about weed and discretion is paramount. Don't let Vancouver's 'open-minded society' image fool you. The weed is out there, but I'd recommend you act like you do a dope deal as if you're a criminal. We're not all that open-minded here -- yet.

did some recon on a quest to find street micro dealing that isn't homeless cretins with already vaped ripoff weed. basically the options are Cambie ATM outside until midnight, behind the Ivanhoe (better weed) until 2:00am or so, and the guy who's always at the top of the stairs outside the Art Gallery facing Robson St. they all sell dime bags and up, art gallery guy can sell $5up depending.
delivery services still have the best quality though.

I've always made it a point to score the best herb I can in every city that I travel to and with some crafty street sense and a smile, I've managed to get by. Some of my better experiences have been Amsterdam, San Francisco, Berlin, Manila, Madrid, , Las Vegas, Nuremberg, Hong Kong and Sydney; where I am now. Yet for all of Amsterdam's glory, the best weed I have ever smoked was some Strawberry-scented bud I bought of some black people on a bridge in Zurich. It goes to show that sometimes, you can have the most extraordinary experiences in the most unsuspecting of situations.
Some of my more disappointing experiences have been in Florence, Saigon, New York and Singapore. This is not to say that the quality was low in all instances, but that I did not get what I expected from each respective city in proportion to the reputation they had. This applies also for the above where I got more than what I had expected.
So anyway, as an avid smoker and traveler, I was looking forward to my trip to Vancouver, hoping to experience the very best the city has to offer in terms of an herbal experience. I was reading the previous posts as part of the usual scouting I perform prior to arrival and the scene appeared to be pretty vibrant until the last few days. I sure hope that my journey isn't ill-timed. Any thoughts?

However, there’s much more to “Vansterdam” than just the phenomenon of B.C. Bud—but getting stoned makes the city all the more enjoyable. Vancouver lies in a magnificent setting. Evergreen forests grow nearly to the city limits, while the protective Coast Mountains and warm winds blowing in from the Pacific help give the city a surprisingly mild climate, with an average temperature of 53 degrees.
When the city fathers were planning Vancouver in the early 1900s, the intention was to put the downtown area in North Vancouver, but the skyscrapers sprouted up across the narrows from North Vancouver, on a little peninsula. In time, the financial and commercial center, hotels, marinas, cruise ship terminal, and Canada’s highest-density neighborhood, the West End, took root there.
It may take a little time to understand the drastic difference in location between Vancouver’s West Side and West End, and West Vancouver. The Kitsilano district offers great restaurants and shopping, while the neighborhood around Commercial Street is known as the city’s counterculture district. Grab a map and orient yourself. To find out what’s going on in the city, pick up the free paper, The Georgia Straight.
Most visitors will enjoy Vancouver to its fullest if they embrace the outdoors, as the residents do. In the city, walking, rollerblading, and biking are local obsessions. The nearby mountains offer sensational challenges to hikers, climbers, and skiers, while fishermen can test their skills every month of the year. The summertime beach scene is an experience not to be missed. As for food, few cities offer Vancouver’s diversity of dining choices—and cannabis is appreciated almost everywhere as a tip.

Peddling on Pot
Rent cruising bikes from Denman Bike Shop (710 Denman, [604] 685-9755). Ask for the cooler on wheels. Fill it with ice and three times the appropriate amount of beer or other spirits, and tow it behind your big cruiser. Take a tour by the Vancouver Yacht Club. The historically relevant gun goes off at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Ride around Stanley Park, go under Lion’s Gate Bridge, past the beaches, and then back to the bike shop. There are lots of places to stop, drink, and get high. Your bike must have a bell; it’s the law.
If you’re a little more hard-core, you’ll want to do some downhill trail riding on the North Shore.
Skiing for Stoners
If you’re in Vancouver during the winter and have Alpine inclinations, make sure you visit one of the North Shore ski slopes. The choices are Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour. Grouse offers magnificent views of the city and islands, especially on night runs. Leaving vapor trails on the chairlift or resting in the glades by the warm glow of your pipe’s cherry are lovely ways to be a ski bum. Take the “ganjola” up to the restaurant for dinner and drinks with a view.
If you have a bit more time, check out Whistler Blackcomb. For steep, expert conditions, try Nelson’s Whitewater in the Kootenays, Red Mountain near Rossland, and Big White near Kelowna. Other cool places worth checking out are Apex near Penticton and Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Further north is the powder heaven of Chetwynd. If it’s a cold year with lots of snow, even Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island deserves mention.
The interior ski resorts have smaller queues and constant snowfall that often impairs vision. The snow in the Coast Mountains range where Whistler’s located is a little heavier than in the interior, where it’s so fine and dry it’s called “champagne powder.”
Whistler is a full-fledged ski town with a thriving social scene, many bars, shops, and restaurants, backcountry options, and even helicopter drops for the hard-core. Every house and hotel room seems to be equipped with a hot tub.
The smaller resorts in the interior of the province have a selection of bars and restaurants, but not nearly as many as Whistler. A major plus in Big White is that you can ski to bars and restaurants, and to the chairlift, from where you’re staying. You never have to use a vehicle for the duration of your visit.
For ski holidays, fly to Vancouver and catch a connecting flight to hidden gems in the interior like Sun Peaks and Silver Star near Vernon. In a good year, the interior resorts are open by the middle of November, with the best snow falling in January and February.

Considering I live in Vancouver I should have had good experiences with Colin... sorry Delta according to your theory, but no he sold me a half missing two grams and than told me I was weighing the bag wrong. WTF I guess my digital scale cant weigh mj. Despite all my test weights weighing out fine. Look if you are some sucker from the states that wants bc bud delta is fine, you should expect to get ripped off if you are a tourist, but being bc born and bred. I call delta a low budget dealer that belongs on hastings selling 10 bags of blow.

Peddling on Pot
Rent cruising bikes from Denman Bike Shop (710 Denman, [604] 685-9755). Ask for the cooler on wheels. Fill it with ice and three times the appropriate amount of beer or other spirits, and tow it behind your big cruiser. Take a tour by the Vancouver Yacht Club. The historically relevant gun goes off at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Ride around Stanley Park, go under Lion’s Gate Bridge, past the beaches, and then back to the bike shop. There are lots of places to stop, drink, and get high. Your bike must have a bell; it’s the law.
If you’re a little more hard-core, you’ll want to do some downhill trail riding on the North Shore.
Skiing for Stoners
If you’re in Vancouver during the winter and have Alpine inclinations, make sure you visit one of the North Shore ski slopes. The choices are Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour. Grouse offers magnificent views of the city and islands, especially on night runs. Leaving vapor trails on the chairlift or resting in the glades by the warm glow of your pipe’s cherry are lovely ways to be a ski bum. Take the “ganjola” up to the restaurant for dinner and drinks with a view.
If you have a bit more time, check out Whistler Blackcomb. For steep, expert conditions, try Nelson’s Whitewater in the Kootenays, Red Mountain near Rossland, and Big White near Kelowna. Other cool places worth checking out are Apex near Penticton and Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Further north is the powder heaven of Chetwynd. If it’s a cold year with lots of snow, even Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island deserves mention.
The interior ski resorts have smaller queues and constant snowfall that often impairs vision. The snow in the Coast Mountains range where Whistler’s located is a little heavier than in the interior, where it’s so fine and dry it’s called “champagne powder.”
Whistler is a full-fledged ski town with a thriving social scene, many bars, shops, and restaurants, backcountry options, and even helicopter drops for the hard-core. Every house and hotel room seems to be equipped with a hot tub.
The smaller resorts in the interior of the province have a selection of bars and restaurants, but not nearly as many as Whistler. A major plus in Big White is that you can ski to bars and restaurants, and to the chairlift, from where you’re staying. You never have to use a vehicle for the duration of your visit.
For ski holidays, fly to Vancouver and catch a connecting flight to hidden gems in the interior like Sun Peaks and Silver Star near Vernon. In a good year, the interior resorts are open by the middle of November, with the best snow falling in January and February.

Here's how it works. Dispensaries will get a very good price for weed. They will buy in a much larger bulk and develop better buyer-seller relationships and much better prices than your average guy on the street.
Then, what do they do? Charge a HIGHER than black market value.
Street prices are roughly $8.00/gram on the street, if you're not just buying 1-2grams.
Prices at a dispensary are pretty much always $9-10/gram, if not way higher, (or cheaper for "meh" weed, but lets stick with this).
So, your dealer will justify the price he charges (which is fair) by the fact he is breaking the law and is actually at a fairly huge risk.
Your dispensary? They do NOT have this same risk if they operate "legally". Yet...they're still charging you BLACK MARKET PRICES?
That's fair? You can say, "OOOH, but they have such high rents and store-costs?
No...no they don't. While rent does exist, the profits are exponential given the prices being charged, the amount of product being moved and the low, low price the dispensary pays for product.
And...come on. Anyone who has been to a dispensary knows that these places are not exactly...high-end on the decor side, and that's ok, but the idea that they "need to charge such high prices to cover rent" is BULLSHIT.
Dispenaries are a hugely profitable enterprise and as a freakin "medical facility" they should not be. Especially not in Canada.
They claim to be on the side of users, and to a fair degree they are. But the way they shit all over dealers and make up some of the same things that the RCMP do is really shitty.
I just wish they were honest. They're a good idea and I buy from one.
But they do lie. And profiteer. And...that's just fucking weak.

One day they both had some sort of Kush so I bought a bag from each of them, they both had the same "dense-ness" but the bag I got off my cousin was larger and I knew those were weighed grams. Now I have 2-3 "sources" and pretty much don't have to go anywhere, it comes to me. Find a dealer close to you if you can, it's much easier.

lies. actually it's because California and Colorado are shipping hundres of pounds a day themselves domestically. i have a list from a broker of over 100+ AAA strains you can get mail order out of NorCal across the US every day of the year for pretty much the same prices as here per pound.
the market for BC weed is Ontario right now. weak blueberry street weed is like $2800-3,000/LB there.

I can get Purp Kush, Blueberry, Green Crack, Rockstar Kush & Bubba. Only tourists and marks get charged 60 a quarter. 50, 55 MOST. Pay more you are a mark.
Since 9/11 it is harder to transport MJ south of the border so the local price is lower than usual.
Anyone who says other wise is lying or being over charged.

However, there’s much more to “Vansterdam” than just the phenomenon of B.C. Bud—but getting stoned makes the city all the more enjoyable. Vancouver lies in a magnificent setting. Evergreen forests grow nearly to the city limits, while the protective Coast Mountains and warm winds blowing in from the Pacific help give the city a surprisingly mild climate, with an average temperature of 53 degrees.
When the city fathers were planning Vancouver in the early 1900s, the intention was to put the downtown area in North Vancouver, but the skyscrapers sprouted up across the narrows from North Vancouver, on a little peninsula. In time, the financial and commercial center, hotels, marinas, cruise ship terminal, and Canada’s highest-density neighborhood, the West End, took root there.
It may take a little time to understand the drastic difference in location between Vancouver’s West Side and West End, and West Vancouver. The Kitsilano district offers great restaurants and shopping, while the neighborhood around Commercial Street is known as the city’s counterculture district. Grab a map and orient yourself. To find out what’s going on in the city, pick up the free paper, The Georgia Straight.
Most visitors will enjoy Vancouver to its fullest if they embrace the outdoors, as the residents do. In the city, walking, rollerblading, and biking are local obsessions. The nearby mountains offer sensational challenges to hikers, climbers, and skiers, while fishermen can test their skills every month of the year. The summertime beach scene is an experience not to be missed. As for food, few cities offer Vancouver’s diversity of dining choices—and cannabis is appreciated almost everywhere as a tip.

Peddling on Pot
Rent cruising bikes from Denman Bike Shop (710 Denman, [604] 685-9755). Ask for the cooler on wheels. Fill it with ice and three times the appropriate amount of beer or other spirits, and tow it behind your big cruiser. Take a tour by the Vancouver Yacht Club. The historically relevant gun goes off at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Ride around Stanley Park, go under Lion’s Gate Bridge, past the beaches, and then back to the bike shop. There are lots of places to stop, drink, and get high. Your bike must have a bell; it’s the law.
If you’re a little more hard-core, you’ll want to do some downhill trail riding on the North Shore.
Skiing for Stoners
If you’re in Vancouver during the winter and have Alpine inclinations, make sure you visit one of the North Shore ski slopes. The choices are Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour. Grouse offers magnificent views of the city and islands, especially on night runs. Leaving vapor trails on the chairlift or resting in the glades by the warm glow of your pipe’s cherry are lovely ways to be a ski bum. Take the “ganjola” up to the restaurant for dinner and drinks with a view.
If you have a bit more time, check out Whistler Blackcomb. For steep, expert conditions, try Nelson’s Whitewater in the Kootenays, Red Mountain near Rossland, and Big White near Kelowna. Other cool places worth checking out are Apex near Penticton and Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Further north is the powder heaven of Chetwynd. If it’s a cold year with lots of snow, even Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island deserves mention.
The interior ski resorts have smaller queues and constant snowfall that often impairs vision. The snow in the Coast Mountains range where Whistler’s located is a little heavier than in the interior, where it’s so fine and dry it’s called “champagne powder.”
Whistler is a full-fledged ski town with a thriving social scene, many bars, shops, and restaurants, backcountry options, and even helicopter drops for the hard-core. Every house and hotel room seems to be equipped with a hot tub.
The smaller resorts in the interior of the province have a selection of bars and restaurants, but not nearly as many as Whistler. A major plus in Big White is that you can ski to bars and restaurants, and to the chairlift, from where you’re staying. You never have to use a vehicle for the duration of your visit.
For ski holidays, fly to Vancouver and catch a connecting flight to hidden gems in the interior like Sun Peaks and Silver Star near Vernon. In a good year, the interior resorts are open by the middle of November, with the best snow falling in January and February.
When buying buds at ski resorts, you’ll usually get a slightly better deal in the larger towns or the cities. Many chairlift operators deal pot but charge premium mountain prices.
Nudists and Beerball at Wreck Beach
Numerous beaches around town are great places to chill out and get high. From Stanley Park to Wreck Beach, the seaside is nearly all beach. As you walk at the bottom of the cliffs towards Point Grey, you’ll find little groups of guitar-playing trippers.
Past Point Grey and Spanish Banks you hit Wreck Beach, the only nudist beach in Vancouver. You can get anything you want there: cannabis, pot food (brownies, cookies), mushrooms, other drugs, and even free love. In the summer, get a haircut while you’re butt-naked with a mixed drink in one hand and a big joint in the other.
Beerball at Wreck Beach is a local custom. Logs have drifted in over the years, and some industrious folks “planted” a forest of them like telephone poles of various heights on the beach. A can is placed atop one of the poles. The object is to knock the can down with a volleyball and win a free beer. Picture 30 naked stoners wrestling for control of a volleyball. At sunset, fires get lit and the drum circle pounds out throbbing rhythms.
No description of Wreck Beach would be complete without mentioning the stairs. Walking down is easy, but at the end of the day, many a burnt stoner has had trouble making the trek back up. Be kind and help those in need. You might be one of them.
Scoring B.C. Buds
Like anywhere, Vancouver offers schwag, top-quality buds, and everything in between. If someone shows you garbage, move on. You’re never too far from stoned people, so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting stocked and stoked.
An eighth-ounce of respectable indoor costs C$40 (US$30). A quarter-ounce should run C$50–70. Ounces usually retail for an average of C$200, creeping up to C$300 for the ultra kind. Since 9/11, local prices have declined; the tightened-up border has put a dent in the export market.
Mushrooms are usually cheap and plentiful. Ounces of Psilocybe cubensis can be had for as low as C$100. Ounces of local liberty caps will run a little higher if they’re picked at their peak.

Smell: Deep, rich sweet-skunk-y smell. Hints of pineapple.
Look: Buds were VERY crystally. Definitely a true, pure sativa. Very fresh.
High: AWESOME. Total medical stone. Long-lasting, creeper high. Never really peaks and no burnout.
Over-all verdict: Awesome buy, will come back again. Nice guy; easy meet and serious bud. Wish there was more variety, but was told there will be soon.

For record, I got an 8th of cherry from Delta a bit ago. It doesn't smell like much in a bag, but I am pretty knackered. I will put in my diagnosis of sleep apnea to Imedikate and hopefully post some reviews soon!

As anyone who dealt with Collin in the past can see that Collin’s prices are higher than what you see on the Imedikate menu .
Very professional and friendly staff. I recommend that folks check it out for themselves.
I’m never going back to Collin and his attitude again, ever. If you must buy off the street go to downtown420, he’s attitude is much better than Colin’s.

I have got from Delta. He usually has stuff above most dealers, maybe a B+? Things like cherry, maple leaf and uk cheese (last one depends on time of year).
But, every few weeks he has SOME BOMB ASS SHIT. Like the nebula, white widow, green crack and purple kush. And he WILL tell you a lot of info about whatever he has (and I've double-checked what he says against my own knowledge and google.
The kid isn't a dispensary, but...who is? Just ask what he recommends.
On a last note, are people actually saying you can get an oz. from a dispensary for like 220?
That's ridiculous. You need an exceptional reason to get like anything more than a quarter, IF that.
Dispensaries charge PER THE GRAM, in my experience at 9-14 a gram.
Not hating on Delta, dispensaries, or surrey/langely, by the way. Just offering my experience. I used to work for the BCCCS on main.

the peeps at Imedikate never left me waiting 2 hours in the winter in my car by English Bay.
As well the quality from them is great
I agree with the previous poster who says Deltas weed is good if your American and are not use to Cdn weed. Ive said it before and I will say it again. The best weed is in Surrey and Langley.
Pay city prices in the city.
In the valley oz are 180-220 depending on the strain. And the 200 oz are purp, lemon and bubba.
I will not publicly discus the 220 bags as they are primo and would never heat out my source.

It's pretty clear what's happened.
A for-profit dispensary has opened up and is bad-mouthing everyone on here.
How many dispensaries do you know that are ANYTHING, but quiet, much less advertising like this?
How many dispensaries have "in-house doctors"? None.
A dispensary is a medical facilty. Professional. Pretty much, not what you're seeing from these guys.
I'm not aggressive; I don't really care about "competition" hahaha. I don't even use that word, ever. It's the west coast, for fuck's sake :P
Let them do their thing. I don't hate on dispensaries, but if they want to be hateful, go ahead! I know people like the strains listed. Many satisfied people.

Guess what, plenty of people who are medical growers, grow for profit. Nobody will admit to this, but anyone hanging around the pot block knows it.
Two, it is VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND A CANADIAN DOCTOR WILLING TO GIVE YOU A MEDICAL CARD. Not impossible, but very hard.
Three, stop fucking misrepresenting what was said. People who come to the medical marijuana system with FAKE AND/OR NON-RELEVANT symptoms are a strain on the medical marijuana system.
Does this strain on the system hurt medical marijuana? No, not really.
Would I claim one of these "wishy-washy" illnesses to get medical pot? Fuck yes.
That doesn't make it any less dishonest.
Honestly, I would question any dispensary that actively encouraged people the way you seem to, to get medical cards for recreational use.
Most discourage this tactic.
Also, what the fuck makes you certain that all street dealers sell to minors? Maybe some people don't NEED a government telling them what to do, to be moral, you fucking creep.
Also, underage people can get medical cards. Also, what's so terrible about a minor smoking pot? I started when I was 15 and am an honor student.
Seriously, any half-decent points you had to make were buried under your insulting attitude, your lies and you complete lack of civility.

Or your own doctor can diagnose you. If your doctor is shy or scared discussing Cannabis, you don’t need to get him/her to recommend Cannabis. All He/She has to do is confirm your condition. Or you can get the house doctor to check you over.

2. I have bought from everyone on the board. Delta/collin, downtown420 and this mail thing from budsinvan. Not only were they all acceptable (some I would recommend over others but not right now) buds...but nobody was shooting 200/O.
You want that...try your luck at hastings, honestly.
Also @ the other dude, you should prob. try to email canED back and tell him the cookies didn't work with multiple people. He might ignore you (maybe?) but that's the worst of it.

Both Colin (deltaix) and Canadian Ed`s are shady and untrustworthy.
They have both attempted to rip me off.
Do not buy from either.
Colin overcharges for shwag. Literally I opened the bag and counted 8 big stems with literally no bud on them at all.
Like 1.5 grams missing from a ounce.
Said ounce was 230 as well.
Any fool knows how to get good in Vancouver for 200.

The banana bread was decent and offered a heavy body stone. That lasted hours. Would use bread again. Emailed and was offered replacements for so called bad batch. But due to paranoia didnt feel safe doing so. So you make your own call. But I would stay away from the cookies.

I'm a nice guy and I treat people how I would expect to be treated but Colin is just a flaky disrespectful individual...
If you want a reliable dealer then definitely avoid this guy, He's the only dealer I have ever dealt with that wont reply back in the middle of a text conversation but then he will message you the next day with some dumb excuse like everything is cool...
I understand that stuff comes up and he can't deal with 50 things at once but a simple text message would go a long way..Especially when you flaking out is a regular occurrence.

Okay everybody...didn't get a huge reply on the cookie question, so I'll take it into my own hands and find something I think people will like. It will be potent as fuck...if you're new to eating, try half a cookie. I mean, I could make them less potent...but it's fun to make super-cookies and people can always just have a bite and see. Treat it...well as seriously as you can treat something like pot-infused cookies :)

Now I wont get all crazy like canadianedibles and say they are so great they will turn you schizophrenic (wow..), but they are VERY potent and made in a "secret" recipe to ensure maximum THC/Cannabinoid absorption. Well it's not really a secret..it's a consumer-available, safe ingredient you could buy at CAPER'S...but I've still never seen anyone else do it.
As always, eat one, see how it hits you. I would honestly wait ~1.5 hr. before deciding "I need another". O.D.'ing on cookies is a rookie mistake and I don't want anybody out there to have a panic attack :)
And as for hash...I will say this...if you're new to it...or new to very good hash...I would go with the "lower" end mixes like cherry or champagne. Not that they're bad..but odds are you don't really NEED to be buying premium-priced hash. But, of course, to each their own.

You know when I was a kid we would get Thai Sticks or sometimes Columbian and it was a great warm social happy buzz.
In those days what is called BC Bud now we called homegrown and it was only smoked as a last resort.
I've recently tried a couple of these new strains and it felt like I had been drinking cough syrup. Pretty sleepy and not really enjoyable.

New run of hash, this time with green crack and white widow trim. There's three grades: first run, Gold and 90u, full melt rich-man's bubble. 90 grade is beyond mindblowing. Extravagant beyond belief, no other hash is like it.

Peddling on Pot
Rent cruising bikes from Denman Bike Shop (710 Denman, [604] 685-9755). Ask for the cooler on wheels. Fill it with ice and three times the appropriate amount of beer or other spirits, and tow it behind your big cruiser. Take a tour by the Vancouver Yacht Club. The historically relevant gun goes off at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Ride around Stanley Park, go under Lion’s Gate Bridge, past the beaches, and then back to the bike shop. There are lots of places to stop, drink, and get high. Your bike must have a bell; it’s the law.
If you’re a little more hard-core, you’ll want to do some downhill trail riding on the North Shore.
Skiing for Stoners
If you’re in Vancouver during the winter and have Alpine inclinations, make sure you visit one of the North Shore ski slopes. The choices are Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour. Grouse offers magnificent views of the city and islands, especially on night runs. Leaving vapor trails on the chairlift or resting in the glades by the warm glow of your pipe’s cherry are lovely ways to be a ski bum. Take the “ganjola” up to the restaurant for dinner and drinks with a view.
If you have a bit more time, check out Whistler Blackcomb. For steep, expert conditions, try Nelson’s Whitewater in the Kootenays, Red Mountain near Rossland, and Big White near Kelowna. Other cool places worth checking out are Apex near Penticton and Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Further north is the powder heaven of Chetwynd. If it’s a cold year with lots of snow, even Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island deserves mention.
The interior ski resorts have smaller queues and constant snowfall that often impairs vision. The snow in the Coast Mountains range where Whistler’s located is a little heavier than in the interior, where it’s so fine and dry it’s called “champagne powder.”
Whistler is a full-fledged ski town with a thriving social scene, many bars, shops, and restaurants, backcountry options, and even helicopter drops for the hard-core. Every house and hotel room seems to be equipped with a hot tub.
The smaller resorts in the interior of the province have a selection of bars and restaurants, but not nearly as many as Whistler. A major plus in Big White is that you can ski to bars and restaurants, and to

But the imporant stuff: never any problems and has a good menu of bud (usually at least 2 kinds sometimes 4-5). Very good quality. What I like about the kid most is that he really does seem to know a lot about his product and cares. Also takes my requests which is cool. Dunno if he still has hash, but whatever he had was fantastic.

This is becoming a pretty shitty place. This used to be where people, who didn't know anyone, could hook up with a dealer and get what they are looking for in a friendly environment . Now we have people posting as other people, trolls, and just arguments over nothing! And its starting to get ridiculous.
Personally I have attempted to buy from Collin, everything was set up, and then he texts me saying he can't make it because something came up. WHICH IS TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. Shit comes up, its life. There is no need to be pissed off or upset about it. Unfortunately we could not set up a meet that worked for both of us, and I ended up buying from Downtown420. But in no way am I angry, or upset at Collin. Im sure I will end up buying from him soon.
And with the synthetic drug pushers advertising here, I do agree with Collin, you are not welcome here. This is a marijuana website, not a drug website.
I just think people here should take a few hits and relax.

Anyone who falls for this petty bullshit that BCBUDZ is pulling with fake reviews, spamming as Collin and others, and his list of terrible weed (I emailed him he admitted his $20 8th of bc big bud was "outdoor grown and nothing special"). Here's a tip if someones most expensive 8th is $30...9 times out of 10 its not a killer deal it means its SHIT commercial weed.
BCBUDZ please please learn some proper marketing techniques...this really isn't working for you, you look like a complete idiot and no one really wants to buy from someone like this.
A warning about Collin...he is pretty much frosted flakes...he may not answer texts, there are numerous reports of him flaking completely, and I've had one incident where he told me had a strain in stock I drove to vancouver and he told me he didn't have it. BUT he will come through, he has KILLER shit, and you can tell he actually hunts for good quality weed with good strains.
He rarely if ever stocks the generic "kush" varieties that seem to flood the lower mainland and I have to thank him for letting me sample some fine strains.
Once again it's everyones choice but clearly...you can see who the childish one. Little bit flakey or a retard who spams the boards with crap weed? You choose.
Use your head before you buy people...I've been buying on here all summer up until now and downtownvan420 and Collin are the ONLY reliable ones.

Other studies clearly show that cannabis impairs car control, including the ability to stay in one lane, as well as slowing reaction time”. (ANCD Report, Dec 2004).
The argument for medical use of marijuana is also discounted.
There is no conclusive evidence that cannabis has medicinal benefits over and above those already available in authorised pharmaceuticals.
Cannabis, because of its complexity and toxicity does not meet the requirements of Australia’s medical standards.
With current costs of tobacco and alcohol in our community, why would we legalise this far more complex and potent drug?

- Went to pickup Sour Diesel when he was stocking it, verified a quarter oz. drove down to vancouver and he tells me he doesn't have any.
- Waited ~20 minutes for him once
Other then that Collin does seem to really pick strains that his customers will like and I've never been dissapointed with the quality I have gotten some FROSTY shit from him.
9/10 on this comments section it's just competition or people who are whiners writing stuff.
Tips for dealing with Collin
- Text him and be VERY specific "Looking for X amount of Y can you meet at _________". Wait for confirmation and then head down. It's your own fault if he's on foot or out and you are stuck waiting.
- Ask him where is best for him it's hard to catch someone who's constantly delivering.
Collin may be a pothead who's late once in awhile but the guy is anything but a scammer, ripoff artist, etc. That one person who wrote he "intimidated" him into giving him money is full of shit Collin looks like a laid back stoner who would probably get his ass kicked, not a thug (no offense Collin!)

Actually...I'll write a new fable. The story of Dealer McGee.
Dealer McGee is selling some Kush to Joe. A half-O. Dealer McGee figures, why bother running a business when I can simply rob people?

That day Dealer McGee gleefully counted the $120 dollars profit. But something caught his eye...
+120 is great, but he would never see Joe again. Joe Bought a half about twice a week. Assuming Dealer McGee worked at a 25% profit margin, that means, he could have made what he stole from Joe in two to three weeks!!
Now, not only had McGee destroyed a perfectly fine stream on income, he also succeeded in killing positive word of mouth and became known for robbing people and his prospective clients ran away.
Eventually Dealer McGee realized what an ass he was and forever had such low self esteem, he contracted life-long E.D. and shot himself in the face.
This story works for: robbing people, passing off crappy weed as good, passing off one strain for another, "profiting" by cutting people's weight, as well as "spiking" weed...or no, "lacing" is the buzz word, with other drugs.

This guy was great. I didn't have access to a phone, so we discussed meet and weight plans through email; exchanged maybe 15 emails total. Got to Vancouver around 6pm, started emailing downtownvan420 and we decided to meet at 8:30. I got to our meeting spot a few minutes early, and then he rolled up almost right at 8:30, we exchanged bud for dough and chatted it up a little bit, and went our separate ways.
I asked for 5g and I have no idea if that's what I got, but he asked for $45. Best $45 I ever spent. Supposedly Turbo Diesel was what was on the menu, and it got me high as a fucking kite. I am from CA and find some decent stuff here, but nothing like what I had up in Van.
Thanks man for making my Vancouver trip an awesome time from start to finish (though my last bit of bud did get thrown out when I went to the Primus show and got searched). I'll definitely have to visit again, and when I do, downtownvan420 will definitely be contacted.

Easy to pick up on W. Hastings. Just sit down and look around and you'll be noticed by someone wanting to help you out. After 5 on weekdays you can burn in one of the cafes there around Cambie and Hastings, get chummy then ask the rules, be straight and say "smoke". Got an 8th of Louis and fucking loved it. Mostly indica but strangely not paralyzing. It's a legit strain, but I really can't seem to find anything on the genetics. Any clues?

But trust me when I say that I picked up a half O of this and it is FIRE. Hard to tell what dominates but it feels like a killer 60/40 (sativa/ind) dom. strain that is just plain good times.
Be nice if someone chimed in on the real lineage of this strain.

PROS: I've picked up off Colin I'd say 8x times now since the beginning of the summer maybe 5 different strains. The guy has never stiffed me on a price or given me bunk product. He usually has some pretty killer stuff. I've tried White Widow, Trainwreck, Mango, Sour Diesel, and a few more off him. Typically has a really good selection 2-4 strains.
CONS: Colin can sometimes be late, the most I've waited for him is probably 20 minutes. Usually he will be there within 10 minutes or so but I do come right to his area so I can't comment on these people complaining about him flaking.
I placed an order once and drove from Richmond to Van to pickup and it wasn't until he met up that he realized he didn't have the product I had confirmed with him nor did he have any of it left...kind of disappointing.
Overall: 8.5/10
Colin is a legit guy who definitely isnt out to rip you off or take your money, he may be a little bit slow at times but what stoner isn't?
DOWNTOWNVAN420
PROS: This guy really is a stand up guy, I've never waited more than a few minutes for him, he's a friendly chat and all around good guy. His stuff is pretty damn good especially his most recent strain. He will also do deliveries and is very reasonable on time if you're late. I have had Sour Diesel and "Happy Hippy" (Cannot find a real strain with this name) from DOWNTOWNVAN420. Both of them were very high quality.
CONS: Lack of variety in strains typically 1 strain at a time.
OVERALL 9/10
Both of these guys are upstanding and I'm not sure who is posting these reviews, and hateful comments but they simply aren't true I've dealt with them all summer. Don't blame a dealer if you're being flaky, unsure, or you can't commit to a purchase. You can take my reviews as lies but clearly I've given an honest review of the two guys who seem to be pitted against each other most on the comments. Colin and Downtownvan420 are BOTH very viable options no matter what you have read.

And if you are smoking weed on the streets dont pull out a bong just a joint
use zig zags because they are smaller and cheap rollies cops don't care about roliing with zigzags and if you are an adult they can tell they don't fuck with adults okay simple.
