iv used the the cloner it works like a dream but b sure to used the right pump r the sprayers wont work and all the cuttings wont get sprayed

Yep, guess I should have took buddies advice and double checked b4 commenting. The plans have been amended here on the internet since the last time I looked. I bought the April 2010 Grow Guide edition of High Times, which had this article in it and there were definitely things left out then. Guess I'm enlightened now.

Built the cloner and vegetative unit. But I'm a little confused as to the design of the flowering unit(as in there are no diagrams or instructions). Am I meant to make two vegetative units and the difference from one(vegetative grower unit) and the other(flower unit) is simply the type and amount of light used(and possibly other grow factors i.e.-nutrient and water addition) If some1 could clear up my confusion, would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks

This system works. There was a few pieces missing in the parts list but common sense should sort that out.

Make sure you read the article thoroughly before you jump to conclusions on its legitimacy.

Hey 666in me . I am useing this system myself , I get around 1.2 lbs per WEEK lol . If you take the time to read about it a bit youd realize that there are 3 flower systems to allow you to fully flower your plants 9 weeks and harvest each 3 weeks :-) . Add another 3 and you get a harvest each week ! lol

The plans for the Vegatative unit are incorrect.

I bought everything on the parts list and came up short:

2 - 3/4" - Elbows
4 - 3/4" - Tees
and about 25" of 3/4" PVC pipe

I also substituted 4" sewer drain pipe @ $5.99, instad of the 4" vinyl fence post around $30.00 at Menards.

Don't worry ,..they were dumb b4 getting high. This is a great system for new and experienced growers and will work as stated.
Unfortunately most folks wont actually "READ" the instructions much less adhere to them.

I find it funny and sad at the same time at seeing how many stupid people there are posting comments about how this system is "dumb and would never work cuz it takes way longer than 3 weeks to flower a plant". This is one of the most well thought out and easily explained systems I've ever seen in High Times. The magic of this system is the relative simplicity of it. And yet it seems to baffle so many wanna-be poser growers. This is an advanced system of growing, but if you have grown before then the concepts make sense. If you have never grown before, then SHUT UP and learn instead of making yourself look stupid with your retarded comments. Peace!!

im gonna try this system useing four units two veg two bud im gonna keep eleven plants in each one and a fith cloneing unit for eleven clones every three weeks I am gonna keep five mother plants grown from feminized seeds at two different growth stages in dirt as to constantly have new mothers that grow for a while,This allows me to grow the number of legle plants I can for myself and my pataints.sounds good right?Time will tell

if any of you had read the article it clearly states. 3 flowering units each with a nine wk flower time. ak-47 1500 ppm co2 1 system harvested and 1 system started every three wks for a 3 wk flip. hense a lb every 3 wks. do your homework and stay off the shit during class lmfao at ppl who dont do the research first

this will work every three to four weeks if you have two veg and two flowering systems staged correctly,and all that really wouldn't take up all that much space,use your imagination a little ya stoners

This system has the potential to grow well, but you'd need to use a few of them side by side... something would have to be well vegged and cloned in a seperate area, and this would have to be a flower only system. Even then, as someone already mentioned 3 weeks doesn't make sense unless you're using several because they'll need to flower for at least 7 weeks... unless you've got some crazy autoflower strain on steriods. all in all, a good system with an overly optimistic assumtion of yeild.

How can this yield a lb every 3 weeks when most strains take at least 8 weeks just to flower? Add another 2 to 3 weeks veg. I think this is complete bullshit.

well, ive done the math...and here weed sells for CDN$200/oz, if this system brings in a pound every 3 weeks thats 38,800 every year....i only make 27,040 a year... ill be starting to make my system next week, wish me luck :D

those arent even ideal for the veggie stage. get those lights off of there. u might wantto check into a metal highlide, high pressure sodium for flowering, and iv'e heard the regular flourescent bulbs would work fine. keep those on there for bout three to four weeks then go to the good stuff to start sprouting your tomatoes. hope ths was some help

Yea I'm the real StinkBud. It's easy to harvest a pound every three weeks. Remember there are 3 flowering systems.

My best was 27oz from 12 plants. All this is from a small 7x8 closet.

Things are always changing though. One of the StinkBuddies just harvested 17oz. from only 7 plants.

We have a new flushing technique that reduces the flush time from 10 days to 2 days. We also are using different additives during the flush.

my plants are outside the buds are HUGE now the hairs are all mostly still white and the buds still "seem" to be swelling they are bigger around than a pop can. my question is : how much longer should i wait to harvest? i read an artical once that stated "when you think they are ready,wait a month" i would really appreciate some suggestions. Its called peretual harvest. All MJ plants need 8-10 weeks to complete the flower cycle. This setup is based on a 9 week flower. 3 set-ups. 3 weeks apart. First you plant the first setup, three weeks later you plant the second setup, three weeks later you plant the third setup.three weeks later you harvest the first setup you planted and plant a new setup. Three weeks after that you harvest the second setup you planted and plant a new setup. And so on.The idea behind this is you harvest a pound every three weeks.

I had priced all the materials for a 14 site setup($50), and the most expensive part is the Pump.($100). Also priced the 14 site NFT systems on the Internet @ a hydro store, and they are priced at about $300. So, it will save alot of unnessary spending your hard earned cash! Get up to a 36 Site setup, and your looking to spend at least a grand in the Hydro Store. Under $200 getting the parts at Home Depot & Ebay.
