On January 15, the federal government announced plans to expand its employee drug-testing program to include hair, saliva, and sweat tests. Federal standards for these tests are forthcoming. At the moment, standards exist only for urine tests.

Currently, 40 million workplace drug tests are conducted each year by US employers. Once the standards for hair, saliva, and sweat tests are announced, that number could easily skyrocket. The American drug-test business is conservatively estimated to be a $4 billion industry, a figure primarily accounted for by urinalysis. As hair assays, saliva swabs, and sweat patches are officially added to the Drug War's increasing aresenal, the battlefield broadens, and that $4 billion figure could well become chump change.

Miskondukt. The last time I smoked was about 3 days before I found out that our comany was bought out and of the new testing policy's. I only smoke. Nothing else. Im about a 2 to 3 time a week guy. And been smoking for years off an on. I got the shampoo offered by the web site www.ipassedmydrugtest.com Its the Test'in Shampoo. They offer different products for the hair test. I just got the 4 oz shampoo. I just followed the instructions used baking soda before hand and used the shampoo twice as recommended. Prayed, Knocked on wood, Then went and took my test. I hope this helps. It worked for me. Best wishes to all.

Specifics is appreciated, everyone.

I just had an initial interview with a probable employer, went well and I expect to at least hear back from them regarding a second interview within seven to 10 business days.

I smoked last night and have been regularly smoking for some years now. I don't anticipate having to go through any testing for at least two weeks, but my use was recent and thus I a quite concerned as this is a great opportunity. I'll update my results here as things progress and what I did.

Thanks to everyone for the recent info to date.

hi!i have a hair follicle test in 3weeks and desperately have to pass it,has anyone tried 2steps ahead shampoo or toxin wash and if so does it work??my hair follicle test is for me getting contact with my daughter who is 5 and who i have a great relationship with,and if i fail this could disrupt my contact!this test has just been sprung on me out of the blue,if i had any idea,i would not have used!!i am finished with everything now,its not worth it!i last used weed and coke two weeks ago!!help!!??

I Survived

Talk about a hair raising ordeal. I got word today that all was good with the new company and that they would be keeping me on at my present job. I've never been so worried in my life. When my boss called me in his office this morning I though I was going to have a heart attack. You can't believe what a load it was off me when he told me everything came back good. I just wanted to thank everyone for there insight and postings. This is what I did. After our company was bought out. We learned that the new drug testing policy was going to all hair testing instead of the same old urine test that they had been doing for years. I did a Google search and called a few sites selling detox shampoo. I found out there's hundreds of them selling stuff. One site stood out to me and it seemed they understood how this all worked. So I ended up purchasing there 4oz shampoo, They explained to me that they call it a shampoo but really its a very strong detergent. Also they recommended using a baking soda rinse before I use the shampoo which I did. After rinsing and using the product that morning I took my hair test later that day. I just got my all clear today. I did it! I really can't believe it. Makes a guy think twice about smoking again. I got my product from the web site ipassedmydrugtest.com without there product I surely think I would of failed. They deserve a big thanks. The one thing I noticed is that after using the shampoo my hair felt cleaner than it ever had and it kind of smelled a sent of lemons. I'm just thankful this entire thing is over with. Well, today is my big day. I go in for a hair sample test for my summer job. It's a walk-in appointment, so I can go whenever.
The last time I smoked was March 15, I took about 6 hits. Before that I had only smoked one other time, and that was in November.
I have redyed my hair twice over the span of March up until now. Thursday I bought OMNI wash to use before I go in.. Also I have used this method twice so far:
Apple Cider Vinegar for 30 mins
Add Clean and Clear Astringent (pink bottle) anothet 30 mins
Rinse
Tide liquid detergent for 30 mins
Rinse
Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo
Rinse

I'm going to do that again today, and then use baking soda paste and then the OMNI wash. Hopefully this works. And I'm never smoking again. I too have prayed about all of this a lot. This os the most stressful situation I've been in.
I'll post results and all that too.

Update: I took my hair drug test and past with about 4+ yrs worth of hair on my head. I dont know what I did that worked but my regimen was fairly simple.
First I would like to point out that every thing I read about passing hair test invovled using T-Gel or a similar brand. I have a skin condition that requires that i use this shampoo aprox twice weekly. This might have had an effect on my results.....
I researched some basic hair science. I found that an alkliney substance will open the hiar cuticle and that acidic will close the folicle.
I also know that the only substance that will easily remove the sticky compound of THC is alcohol. So, here is what I did.
Bought a new comb, a roll of paper towels, 12 lrg containers of the most poteint rubbing alcohol, a new lrg basin/plastic tub, and one normal size container of baking soda. I already had T-Gel & chlorine removing shampoo in my shower.
I put the basin in my tub, filled it with very warm water (almost hot), and the baking soda. Use hand to mix baking soda & water. I got on my knees in the tub and put all of my hiar & scalp into the warmwater baking soda mix. I used my hands to massage and move aroung my hair while soaking for about 10 min.
Pour out the baking soda mixture and rinse out the basin.
Fill the basin with the alcohol and soak hair & scalp into the alcohol for about 5 min. I couldnt stand more than that cause the vapors were about to kill me. I would raise up and take a breath and then go back down into the alcohol. I had to hold my breath the entire time my head was in the alcohol.
I poured out the alcohol and then showered, washed my hair with T-Gel then Chlorine removing shampoo.
Rinse well with warm water.
Dry with paper towels and comb with new comb. If hair is long use a new hair clip and put your hair up into the clip to prevent any possible contanimation from your clothes or car seat.
My hair was dry & in need of conditioning but no intense or permanent damage. I had been clean for almost 4 weeks when I took the test. I use the high grade stuff that is so sticky that it is impossible to roll. I am not sure what worked & why but I passed my hiar drug test..... I prayed alot too. And, have made a deal with GOD that I will never smoke again if I passed the test. I believe in GOD and intend to keep my word with my savior. Goodluck to those who are seeking a solution to this problem.

Well, Took the dam hair test yesterday. They didn't seem to take that much hair?. Im hoping for the best I followed all the instructions and did everything they said to do. Anyone have a clue how long it takes to get results?

OK so here it goes..i serached everywhere for everything on how to past a hair exam and this is what I did and passed, just got my results yesterday!
*mind you this is for a REAL job
FACTS: black female, qutit smoking 56 days prior to the test date, smoked heavily heavily before that for years daily.
first night.... i washed my hair with hydro proxide, baking soda, and regualr vinegar mixture(all equal parts basically). massaged the hell outta my scalp. then rinsed. washed my hair with armor hamor detergent. rinsed. washed my hair with nuetrogena t-gel.rinsed. then i repeated everything. put a light leave in conditoner in my hair, changed my sheets and wore clean clothes. and went to bed.
2nd night i relaxed my hair ( or as other would know it as permed)( I am sure you could also bleach it to open the folices but i have really great natural hair and im /wasn't willing to do that). used dark and lovely regular perm and followed the whole process of directions. except when i got to the conditioning part i didnt rinse it out. wrapped my hair in a towel and went to sleep.
moring of the test.... i rinsed out the conditioner. i used STAT hair cleansing kit that i got from the health food store, i followed the directions to a T and did the entire times suggested for hair drying n all that. (i only did one wash the morning of..i actually called the company's customer service and told them everything i had already done and they suggested i only do one treatment bc a 2nd one would have washed out the perm). i put nothing on my hair, styled it with bobby pins and went to the testing place. thankfully it was a gloomy windy day and i didnt sweat too much.

and thats it. hoped i helped anyone cause i was freaking the f*ck out researching everything!

To smoke Joe : yes I have heard that a baking soda paste will open the hair folicles and the vinegar closes the hair so I never used the vinegar I guess it depends on the shampoo you are using you difently want t-gel shampoo the one with the most coal tar I used netrogena from wal-mart and wash about 6 to 8 times with the t-gel shampoo and try laundry soap it breaks down the metros. in the hair so wash a few times with t-gel and then with laundry soap and keep altering it. I think the key is to use different things before you use the detox shampoo and not to contaminate your hair before your test use new combs,towels, and even a new shirt or something that doesnt go over your head cover your headrest also it is very easy to contaiminate your hair. I've had no luck trying to find out how to pass my test there's so much online about this stuff. A guy doesn't know what to believe. I did a Google search on hair follicle drug testing and found hundreds of sites selling stuff to clean out your hair. With my time running out I ended up purchasing some shampoo from a web site. They told me I needed to pick up some vinegar and baking soda to rinse my hair first. Has anyone heard of this? My test is this Thursday the 10 at 4 pm. the site was www.ipassedmydrugtest.com I'M hoping for the best but really not sure. I'll post what happens.

I am going to re-post something I put up on another board, about passing all this testing stuff. This is for all you piss-testers out there. Hope this helps. While I don't have an iron-clad answer for the hair-testing saga, especially with GCMS these days (detecting micro-grams of elements in a sample, which is almost impossible to defeat ), this will at the very least solve all your piss-test problems:

The easiest solution is to freeze and store fresh clean urine, whether you take a two month break and use your own, or someone elses. If you take a test that has no thresholds and trip it at all, you fail. If you take a urine test with thresholds, they can always GCMS the sample for confirmation. There is NO way around GCMS, it detects micro-particles of anything being tested for. Same goes for hair testing, which utilizes GCMS 6mo-2years back easy. When people say they test clean, it's because the metabolites weren't present. Pee remedies are just WAY risky. Use clean REAL urine and be creative in utilizing it. Fake urine is detectable, and make sure to use pee from the same gender as hormones CAN also be easily tested for. Color, gravity and temperature and real pee is key. Legal, military, keeping your job, or on parole? Why the hell risk it!? Freeze it, thaw it, warm it, wrap it, strap/stuff it, use it. Of course the hard-drug users can just take a few days off, and the functional-alcoholics including your PO, the 5-0, the judge and your boss are all safe since it's "legal". WTF? The irony.

If anyone has any REAL and scientifically-based answers for the hair test, please post. Not toxic, not burn your scalp off and lose your hair type of remedies that are hokey at best (and risky if you're keeping your job or staying out of legal trouble) but something real, WITH THE RESULTS OF YOUR PASSING YOUR TEST INCLUDED.

Way too many posts with no follow-up or results at all.

I've been watching this board for a while now...and all I see are experiments. No real results. Where is the feed back?

Anyone have any evidence of actually passing anything? Particularly a hair test? I still see nothing to the effect.

Waiting...and what happened to the few dozen of you who posted "what do do" but then never followed up. Did you fail your drug test, especially all you hair-remedy-posting-types?

That's about what I am concluding. Wrapping this up.

Also leave the perm on as long as you can stand atleast the first time you use it. I didn't leave it on long the second time I used the perm my head hurt to bad but did have a cap on and used the blowdrier for a few minutes. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their results and information on how I could pass my hair test. I took different things from people and used the t-gel shampoo the whole bottle for three days and used the Dr. Miracle hair relaxer (by the way had long hair to mid of back and I am white Only had three days to do the test.) Also two perms, ammonia, and dawn dish soap, and laundry soap before using Omni clean shampoo. This is how: Friday I washed with t-gel and laundry soap. saturday used the relaxer hurt but did it only for a few min. then washed with t-gel and laundry soap dried with paper towels everytime I washed. Sunday washed hair with t-gel and laundry soap and then permed no neturlizer and then washed again with t-gel shampoo and laundry detergent. Day of test Monday washed again with t-gel and dawn then permed the same way then washed again with t-gel rinsed with diluted ammonia and washed twice with omni shampoo left for test had an hour drive and a hour wait hair was so dry and hard to brush(use new brushes and combs and cover seat with plastic bags) Never got a call Four days later I am in orientation for a job and they said you are now a member of our team so I must of passed. thanks again if it wasn't for people like you I wouldn't of passed. Decided on perms because didn't read anywhere where people had failed so thanks again I hope it works out for everyone else by the way have been smoking everyday for 15 years. And prayed every nite. Believe it or not no longer using not enough good paying jobs out there to lose one for the green. I am now probably going to be drinking alot more but thats legall. Good Luck and you can pass just alter your hair. Also have a few scabs on my head but it doesn't hurt anymore.

I just wanted to post my experience on here so people would have more results and things to try. I'm on probation and some ua's were diluted so my probation supervisor told me I needed to take a hair test within 3 days to prove my sobriety. I was extremely nervous since I had started smoking daily again for a couple months and also had done some white several times as well as molly. I did a lot of my research on this page and any other product review sites. I figured that my best bet would be to open up the hair cuticle with bases and then flush it out things like laundry detergent since the enzymes break down the metabolites. I also permed my hair four times to try and kill it as much as possible. it took a lot of time and patience and tolerance of pain but it was very worth it since I passed my hair test and am going to be done with probation because of the results.
Here's what I used:
friday night-- washed my hair several times with equate t-gel shampoo extra strength
then permed my hair but did NOT use the neutralizing lotion....then washed a couple more times with shampoo
Saturday morning-- t-gel shampoo, another perm without lotion, and some more t-gel shampoo throughout the day
Sunday-- t-gel shampoo, hot wash cloth 10 mins, baking soda paste 20 mins, tide liquid laundry 20 mins, t-gel shampoo.
sunday night-- another perm (this hurt like hell since my scalp was already fucked with but suck it up and bite through the pain. t-gel shampoo
Monday (day of test)- perm (hurt even worse than the third time) t-gel shampoo, baking soda paste, tide, baking soda paste, purity labs all clear hair detox.... I left the gel in for 30 mins or so.

I took the test that day and just got results back saying it was negative! I would have considered myself a heavy user due to everything that was in my system. I have long brown hair and was able to pass the test doing everything above. I have some scabs on my scalp and my skin is still irritated but it was very worth it to have the negative results! just wanted to post this since I read sooo much from people saying it couldn't be beat. I was pretty nervous and feelin kinda hopeless but I did as much as I could and it worked for me. So my advice is to do as many different things as you can and just keep at it, there is hope!

Need to know cheapest but best way to beat the test...and without bleaching my hair as I am a dark brunette and I need to maintain teh ability to look nice for interviews.

So all these threads and blogs helped me during my freaking out period before my hair test. So I'm gonna give back ;)
I'll start by saying this is a happy message.
Supposedly it takes Psychemedics no more then two days to call my employer. It's been five. I'm pretty sure I passed and this is how I did it...
First of all I have bleach blonde hair already, about 3 inches past my shoulders. I was a regular smoker but only took a couple hits a day. Sometimes not everyday. Probably five days a week.
I only used marijuana in the months prior to my hair test.
I quit smoking altogether 2 1/2 - 3 weeks before the test.
I bleached my roots at a salon about a week and a half before my test.
I used Synergy Detox Toxin Wash that week as well for a few days, a couple times a day.
The week of the test I continued to use Toxin Wash and also ordered Hair Razor. I used Toxin Wash and Hair Razor back to back a couple times a day for a few days before the test.
I used Neutrogena T-Sal shampoo and a coal tar shampoo a couple times each as a pre-wash before putting on the Toxin Wash and Hair Razor.
The night before the test I used a box bleach blonde kit on the first two-three inches of hair from the roots.
The morning of the test, right before I left the house I used Zydot Ultra Clean. I went right to the test with my hair wet.
SOME NOTES:
The Toxin Wash and Hair Razor shampoos are CHEMICALS! Obviously they worked for me but it will fuck up your hair!!!!
My hair is a lot thinner then it used to be and I had some moderate breakage. Also it is still dry and I have been using deep conditioner since the test.
Also my scalp was very irritated, flaky, dry, and scabby!
I did what I had to and am so happy I passed but just know that your hair WILL BE DAMAGED!!
I need to cut a few inches off now just so it can grow in healthy again.
ALSO...
I bought about five new brushes and combs, new towels, new pillow cases, a couple new t-shirts.
I slept in a shower cap for a week and covered my car head rest with brand new towels.
You can re-contaminate your hair very easily so be careful.
Altogether on all the products and new supplies I probably spent $300+.

I hope this helps anyone who is going through the same situation. It totally fucking sucks but at least I have a sweet job now! :)

I stopped smoking on feb 1st this year in fear I might get a drug test for jobs I was applying for. Well I got this job and now I have to take a hair test at Quest Diagnostics, which I was not expecting. I need to take the test by May 4th latest, and it will literally be at the 90 days that people say it test for. My problem is that I am a 23 year old female with hair half way down my back, so they will have far more than an inch and a half of my hair to test. Ive heard they just cut it at the root and send it off no matter how long your hair is. Im not worried about the last inch and a half thats grown, but if they test the whole strand, will the hair thats 4,5, or 6 months old still have THC in it? Does it come out after 90 days because if not then im probably screwed.

I need to know if I have smoked less than a joint and done a total of 3 lines of blow in the past 90 days will I pass a hair test on Monday (this is Saturday)? I just gave notice from a job of 20 years for a new job of a lifetime only to find out yesterday they hair test. The only thing I've done in 30 days is take 1 norco.

I am a mother of two that went through a very tragic event that caused me to develope severe insomnia. After trying sleep aids and developing bad side effects I decided to try a more natural route. I began smoking high grade stuff about 15 mths ago. This helped tremendously with my anxiety and sleep.
I am now facing a custody battle with my now exhusband and my attorney has recommended that I volunteer a clean hair drug screen to the court to show that I am a fit mother that has "nothing to hide". He says that this would look better than waiting for the judge to order the test.
I stopped smoking 3 wks ago and am now doing ALOT of research to see if there is any hope for passing this drug test.
Since I am doing this voluntarily (at this point) I have time on my side.
I have very long hair so cutting my hair of short would just be obvious to everyone that I was trying to fool the test.
So, I am going to start out simple and try to cleanse my hair without buying any of the "cleanse" products that everyone seems to have different opinions about. I will update with what steps I used and if it worked. If one attempt does not work then I will increase the intensity of the efforts until I get positive results or I have caused too much damage to my hair to continue..... which ever comes first.
After this I am done with smoking because there is nothing in this world worth potentialy losing custody of my children. I will update.

I'm a very heavy marijuana user. I've smoked just about every single day for the past 4 years. I have a hair test tomorrow. Friday I went to a local headshop and bought 2 bottles of shampoo named Omni.. I used half a bottle in my hair once saturday, used the other half of that same bottle this morning and plan on using the other halfs of the bottle tonight and tomorrow morning before the test. Does anyone think this will work?? I really need this job and hope this shampoo works. Any advice.. please let me know.

I recently took the Psychemedics hair test for a casino job. I had done cocaine about 4 times (2-3 lines each time) and smoked weed (only about 3 hits) once within the 90 day period, my last time being about 2 1/2 weeks prior to the test.

I went to my hair stylist who bleached my hair twice, dyed it back, trimmed it and then used the detox shampoo from Diversity right after. I bought a new shirt, dried my hair with paper towels and went straight for the test. I got word four days later that I passed. I'm posting this to let others know that this method works and there is hope. Good luck guys!

I've just started a new job and I found out that I'm going to be required to submit to a hair follicle test. How do I beat it? Some people say it can be done... others give me a complete defeatist attitude and make me feel like I’m capital F Fucked. There has to be something. Advice me pleeeeease! I'd like to hear from someone who's had to take this test and passed if possible.

@worried The place I went was pretty lax. i don't think you'd have much trouble, but if you are really worried pay for a buddy to be tested there and have him try to use a fake to see if they catch it.

OK, I had a hair follicle test in Ohio with a lot riding on it. I had less than 24 hours to take the test, and I am a heavy smoker. Smoked a little that afternoon while rolling around to all the shops picking up detox shampoos so I was 18 hours clean when I took my test. Here is what I did. First I decided I was shaving my body to make sure they took it from my head (told the tester I was a tranny when she asked for armpit hair). I got a hair cut leaving only the thinnest part in the front long enough for a sample. They usually want 1.5" (90 days). That also allowed me to focus on that specific area. I have thick dark hair. Then I rotated the following stuff for the next 18 hours. Left most of it on for twice the recommended time. I am lucky I didn't poison myself. I did this alone, but I recommend having some one around to assist you. wish I knew which one worked, but I don't. Try to keep it off your scalp as much as possible. Trust me. I'm scabbed over in a couple spots pretty bad.

Baking Soda paste (baking soda, water, once I added a crushed up aspirin)
All Clear (detox shampoo)$25 seems like lauryl sulfate is the active ingredient.
Biowash (detox shampoo)$33.99 the odd thing about this one is that it says on the back "contains no Sodium laurel sulfate" but in the ingredient it lists "Sodium Laureth sulfate" This one also has a lot of natural extracts. Don't know if that helped.
Fresh Hair $40? (detox shampoo) once again Sodium Laureth Sulfate and a bunch of other stuff.
Dr. Miracles Relaxer Kit (Walmart in the..."ethnic" hair section. $7?) The relaxer burnt the fock out of my scalp. I only did this once. but the "Color Warning Conditioning Neutralizing Shampoo" had all the laurel(th) sulfate compounds listed above and then some. So I think this could easily be a replacement for the expensive detox shampoos and save you a ton of money. There was also a shampoo similar to paul mitchell's tea-tree stuff that made my head feel like it had icy hot on it.
Here's where it gets a little crazy. Nix Lice treatment (walmart $7) Permethrin 1%
Rid Lice Treatment - (Walmart $8) Active Ingredient Piperonyl butoxide 4%, Pyrethrum extract (equivalent to .33% pyrethrins)
Sun-In Tropical Breeze (walmart $5?)- peroxide and a bunch of extracts. I spray this on with the baking soda a couple times, but the peroxide is heat activated. You could use a hair dryer, but I went to the tanning bed stayed in 11 minutes on a 15 min bed and the shite turned my hair orange.
Fanci-full temporary hair color (walmart) 21
Laundry Detergent with stain fighter (for washing thoroughly between other treatments)
Oxyclean (only did this once)
bleach (50/50 mix with water just once for about a minute or two)

oh yeah, Dr. Green's Wash Away$20 Sulfanate Lauramide I'm not sure if this is the active ingredient.

I left out the vinegar most people listed since a previous poster made a good point about it being a weak acid, and causing the hair to close. So I used baking soda as he said a base would be more likely to open the follicle. I also did not use any t-gel or coal tar shampoo. My goal was to open up the follicle and fry it. I'm no scientist, but coal tar sounds like it might just be for coating which doesn't really work anymore since they wash the hair. However, I did use the hair gel to coat my hairs anyway just before the test. I think it came with the All Clear. I also did not use an clean and clear astrigent. I seriously considered gasoline, but after what I done already I didn't think I could take it. After all this, I freaking got the call last week, and I passed!!! So, if you were like me, reading this forum desperately, with more than you cared to even think about on the line, there is hope however, it was a difficult and painful process. weigh the costs before starting, and be careful.

HAIR TEST!!!

have to do a hair test for an employer, moderate smoker 3-5 a week

Anyone have any info on how the hair test is actually perform?
What if I had someone else use my id to use the test? What information do they need?
I have a 2 year younger brother who looks similar to me? not identical but close enough to where I think it might pass?
or should I just do the all out methods described?

I had my hopes up high for this job offer at the casino. Not to mention my husbands dad name was on the line because he worked there and the position was in the department he worked in. Talk about pressure. I am a stay at home mom but a daily smoker. At the least once a day.

Used the stat hair shampoo kit and followed the directions very carefully. Guess who is still a stay at home mom.....ME. Not blaming the shampoo for me not getting the job my own habit did that. All I am saying is it didn't work for me.

So, the company I work for is being sold, I find out the new company stepping in will be performing hair drug testing to those they offer jobs to about 3 weeks before I was actually offered a job. I immediately scoured the web for any and all information for masking, shampoos, the whole bit but really only found expensive garbage and heart break. I did however find a post on a grasscity thread about a method that made sense physiologically but they also weren't trying to sell anything.

Kombucha

Its a fermented tea drink that contains stuff that helps you purify your system that can be found at just about any health food store or organic place like wholefoods. I will provide a link to the page its self below.

Short version of Kombucha method
Ingredients
lots of Kombucha 6+ bottles (about $3 for a 160z bottle in my town)
%99 concentration or better propylene glycol (got a pretty big bottle off of ebay for a little over $20.00)
1 Box Zydot Ultra clean (a lil over $20.0)

Its pretty simple I mixed 1 part glycol 2 parts kombucha and put it in my hair 2-4 times a day for about 20 minutes per soak. Didn't even wash it out with shampoo just rinsed but do what you want.

I also drank a bottle of the stuff a day for about the whole 3 weeks but probably went overboard. Be warned Kombucha contains live cultures and if you drink to much too quick it will upset your stomach. Also it tastes like skunked beer.

The morning of the test I used the Zydot kit because i was paranoid. Dried my hair with paper towels and used a new comb. I passed got the news this morning. I hope this helps people. I also talked to a dude who used to work in vegas he said he would smoke till like 2 days before and just do a cheap perm kit on his hair and never failed.

I've got a hair follicle test coming up. Smoke about a bowl everyday. Stopped 10 days ago. Tweeking hard but its whatever. Paid $50 to some "expert" at testfriend and all they gave me was the mac method. I assume that's not enough. Got some shampoo from a head shop. Will likely do the shove it method but don't want to use gasoline know nothing about perming. Is that stuff necessary? Any advice?

the system i talked about prior on this page works do not worry if you use the method i tell you about. everything is on line or at walgreens and walmart. they key points is to use t gelcole tar shampoo and walgreens for dandruff tshampoo from walgreens ammonia to open hair follicle, rinse with distilled water, and paper towels to remove moisture and clean the hair from toxins washed out.the tonin wash product precision cleans and zydot work. ps the ethanol in the gasoline penetrates the very center of the hair shaft so you can release the toxins. think vinegar wash and soaks help also for the outer hair follicle.

I was court ordered to take a hair drug test because I am going through a divorce. My husband requested it and the judge ordered me to take it within 7 days (even though he can not prove that I smoke). I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder this year after many years of thinking it was depression. Last summer I decided to start smoking again. It is amazing how much smoking helps me with the combination of medication that I take. I never smoke around my children and I never smoke in my house. I don't smoke a lot just maintenance doses (everyday out of a hitter box, about 4 hits at a time, maybe 4 times a day). I am 5'5 140lbs some body fat, have thick hair (american indian descent/majority)

I was scared out of my mind that I would lose my children. I had stopped smoking not even 2 weeks before. I searched and searched for hours about cleansing my hair when I found this site and others like it. I came up with my own combination from people that had passed their own hair tests.

Here is what I did:
About 2 weeks before I went in for a root touch up on my hair with highlights and lowlights (this was before I knew I would be tested).
I started taking a colon cleanser and body detoxifer. I took the maximum of 6 pills each a day (each bottle) for about a week (This was before I knew what kind of test).
I bought AllClear by purity labs $25 (at adult store),an ultra blonde box hair dyeing kit, box of a brown color, a color hair stripper kit, another box of brown color, 3 step rotational tgel system by neutrogena, distilled white vineger, and an off brand dish liquid.

1)got my roots touched up really blonde and usual highlights and lowlights
2)colon and body cleanser (from walmart)a week before this process and during this process
*wash sheets and pillow cases, change clothes between steps. If you must drive put a clean towel over the headrest.
3)distilled white vineger, poured almost the whole bottle on my head, rubbed scalp, and left on for about 1/2 hour.
4)washed out with an off brand dandruff/scalp treatment shampoo
5)washed with an off brand dish liquid.
6)repeated steps 4 and 5
7)got out as much water as possible with my hands (as not to contaminate with towel) dried hair
8)dyed hair with ultra blonde box color (focus on root area first)
9)repeated steps 4 and 5 1x each. Dried hair
10)(the next morning) dyed hair with a brown color.
11)repeated steps 4 and 5
12)repeat step 7
13)(that night)used a color stripper and stripped all color on my hair (focus on root area first)
14)washed hair with 3 step rotational tgel system by neutrogena. Did all 3 steps 2x.
15)repeat step 7
16)the next morning dyed my hair with a brown color
17)repeat step 14 x2
18)repeat step 7
19)final step. Used AllClear shampoo and gel. I have a lot of hair and was surprised about how concentrated it is for $25. I was able to shampoo and gel x2. The box says to leave on for 15 minutes. VERY IMPORTANT you must scrub for 15 minutes for shampoo, rinse, you must scrub for 15 minutes for gel, rinse (your arms are going to be very tired but don't give up).
20)repeat step 7
21)went straight to have my test. They did not ask me for a list of medications. I am prescribed effexor, depakote, trazadone, anti-anxiety meds, migraine meds, diet meds, had a cold so I was taking cough syrup with codeine, had taken hydrocodone for cramps. They said the doctor would call with any questions. Waited for a week and 3 days. No call. I called my attorney today and he said I passed for everything.

I am so relieved. I don't know if I went overboard or if the AllClear would have worked alone. Good luck everyone. I hope this is useful.

AND IF I FAIL ITS A 100 % PROOF THAT THIS CLEAN UP SHAMPOOS DOESNT WORK.

a little unclear on the previous post step 1
wash t- gel the rinse with reg water.
then vinegar and t-shampoo for 30 min. under shower cap and use heat from blow dryer. did this twice a day for 3 day.
step 2
t-gel then shell premium gas for as long as i could stand then water and t-gel and rinse then t-shampoo it will burn quickly
then rinse next ammonia 1 cup, baking soda 1/2 cup, and vinegar 1/2 cup wash lightly will burn a little then rinse when you can not stand it. next t-gel rinse. wait 4 hrs then vinegar and t=shampoo for 30 minutes under shower cap and heat.
step 3 final day perm solution no color on dry clean hair for 20 min under cap with heat. rinse well wait 4 hrs for hair to air neutralization.
then follow directions for the toxin wash i used the more expensive precision stuff. use paper towels and distilled water it is very important. remember all furniture cloths everything even if washed or clean even money are contaminated. use new comb i mixed leave in conditioner and added dissolved aspirin and let air dry times 2. the aspirin alone should destroy the test for THC i also did zydot ultra cleans a last step no shampoo just the mask and rinsed with distilled water just to make sure it would be very hard to get to the salts left by the toxin wash.

t-=gel then vinegar and t-shampoo for 30 min times 2 for 3 days. then ammonia, baking soda, vinegar wash 5 minutes. then the t-gel and t-shampoo for 30 minutes used shower cap with hear blow dryer. then shell premium after 4 hr for 1 minute or what you can stand this is what the labs use it has 10 % ethanol. t-gel 30 sec. then t-shampoo 5 minutes. last day perm solution do not add pack, 20 minutes under shower cap with heat blow dryer. t-gel 5 minutes times 2 then toxin wash next generation wash precision as instructed used distilled water and paper towels between the 4 cycles wait 6 hrs then wet with distilled water slept on new sheets. 4 more cycles with detox shampoo as instructed. dry with paper towels no dry with heat spray with leave in conditioner and aspirin diluted on the clear water part and new comb will let you know friday. what the results.

wore new cloths then went for test will let you know friday of results. the important thing use paper towels only use distilled water for toxin was for sure. possible could omit gasoline but i must pass. the ones who fail the test ofter the toxin wash i think are mostly contamination. it is very difficult . if you go to movie touch money anything then touch hair . bad news and make sure person that does test has new gloves on and insist on this if they use then you sample contaminated it they touched money anything just like you your sample contaminated.

fyi for all you researchers. a base or alkaline(like BAKING SODA) will OPEN the hair cuticle making the CORTEX more accessible. however, an acid like vinegar will CLOSE the hair cuticle making it more difficult to strip toxins/residuals. there's a lot of common sense to passing drug test

I just wanted everyone to know what the results of my PSYCHEMEDICS HAIR TEST outcome were.....

I applied for a position at a casino restaurant here in Las Vegas recently.... probably 11.20.2011. I got hired and filled out all the paperwork and at the end of that, the HR Manager congratulated me on being part of the team!!

I was so freaking stoked! however, those words were followed by, "we just need you to head over to this address and take a drug test! :) " my heart sank knowing that I was a habitual smoker for the past 4 years, but the month prior to testing, i smoked probably 5 or 6 times due to wanting a new position here in las vegas.

i left the hiring and bolted home to jump online and look up any products that would help me pass this damn test. I came across a head shop with the product "ZYDOT ULTRA CLEAN" and didn't even bother reading the reviews. i picked that shit up and then ran to wal mart to look for the Aloe Rid shit that is sold. well, they didn't have that. Instead I went to wal marts salon and told the lady that I need a CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. she offered two different products and I took the cheaper of the two... "PAUL MITCHELL CLARIFYING SHAMPOO" 10$. it was like 1:00 p.m. and the drug test lab closed at five p.m.

I got home and shaved my armpits (just in case) and used the paul mitchell product once for a good half hour scrubbing. rinsed and repeated a second time. rinsed and repeated a third time. then used the "ZYDOT ULTRA CLEAN" and followed the directions to a "T" only TRIPLING the amount of time to leave the product in my hair.

I used a BRAND NEW TOWEL and BRAND NEW HAIR COMB during this process and felt confident that this should work. i did everything i was supposed to. the time was now, 4 pm. I headed over to PSYCHEMEDICS and did the test.

well, my results to say the least were never disclosed. However, at my orientation, the human resources director said, " as you all know, you had to complete a drug screen and if you are sitting here listening to me, YOU PASSED "

i couldn't be more stoked and happy that this product isn't some p.o.s. waste of money and that if you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND TRIPLE THE TIME OF APPLICATION, USE A NEW TOWEL AND HAIR COMB, DO NOT REST YOUR HEAD ON YOUR CAR SEAT HEAD REST, TAKE THE DRUG TEST WITHIN 1 HOUR OF USING THE PRODUCTS then you should be "free & clear"

my advice, use PAUL MITCHELL CLARIFYING SHAMPOO and then use the ZYDOT ULTRA CLEAN. FOLLOW MY EXACT DIRECTIONS.

i no longer smoke and want to keep it that way. the stress of a drug screen is not worth being a lifeless stoner as much as I will miss the feeling!!!!!

Ok, I was a daily smoker in college, quit for years and only smoked occasionally. Then started about a year ago, smoking high quality weed about a year ago. I had to get a drug test for legal reasons for a divorce. I was ordered to take a hair follicle test and got really worried. Here is exactly what I did. First quit smoking for about 33 days. I ordered the hair razor wash kit and used it as directed. My test was postponed so I tried to get another job that required a hair test. I then purchased the Synergy Detox total body 4 day kit. The day it came I took a pee test and passed. Called the company and they said I did not need to take the detox pills but took them anyway. Used their shampoo as directed. I then used the Hair Razor shampoo and in between that treatment used the Synergy Detox Shampoo. I also used Neutrogena Tgel coal tar shampoo and also in between tests I soaked my hair in olive oil and rubbed in it real well. (Think about the toxins found in the fatty parts of fish so I thought that would work.) I did NOT change my sheets and only used distilled water on one day to wash my hair. I then got my hair cut so it was only about 1 1/2 inches long and had the back and sides shaved with a number two hair blade and it was very short. This way I knew they would take it from the top of my head where I concentrated the shampoo treatments The day of the test, washed my hair with both products and put a little of the hair razor product in my hair and left it in my hair as they instructed on the day of my test. I just found out that I passed my hair test today and was offered a new job and now am using that test to provide to the court as I do not know which lab they will use and read some labs are different. The lab that did the forensic study was Psychemedics. The nurse took the sample from my head. I shaved my armpits and pubic areas very short just in case they wanted it from there but they took it from the back top of my head. In total I spend about $425 for the two kits, tgel shampoo and a gallon of distilled water. I did NOT change my pillow cases or NOT wear any hats I wore before or anything like that. I can't say which product worked for me but I just wanted to share what I did to pass my hair test. By the way, my scalp is pretty dry and itchy and my hair is pretty dry but I did pass the test. smoked weed plus ocansionaly some white just passed hair test i did two perms saturday two perms sunday and one monday 2 hours before the test. i left out the neutrizing lotion since it does what it says neutralizes the curling lotion wich contains Ammonium thioglycolate the chemical that opens the hair to get to the cortex. after curling lotion did 9 tgel washes after every perm followed by some daluted ammonium, and thats it squeaky clean hair (ps dont get the curling lotion on your forhead might look a little Conspicuous with chemical burns on your forhead.so they might be right that a normal perm dosent affect the hair much but altering the perm helped me pass hope this helps

ok i need to share some honest information, to help those who are freaking out, much as i was a few weeks ago. the info; 1. the test-quest diagnostics 2. i was clean for approx. 40 days. 3. prior to that i was a .5-1.0 gram high grade herb daily smoker. 4. I have dark hair and dark skin, live in a hot humid climate, and run approx. 5-10 miles a week outdoors. 5. I PASSED THIS TEST AND NOW I WILL TELL YOU HOW, THIS HAS WORKED FOR ME AND ANOTHER PERSON. the products i used were zydot ultra clean the day of the test and omni clean the night before. both are shampoo's. i also used a coal tar shampoo for approx. 20 days prior to the test, the other person i mentioned did not do this or change their pillow cases the night before, and still passed. I CANT SPEAK FOR ALL THE CLEANSING SHAMPOOS, BUT MY CO WORKER AND I USED OMNI CLEAN AND ZYDOT AND IT WORKED. ALSO I SHAVED ALL MY BODY HAIR AND GOOD THING I DID BECAUSE THATS WHERE THEY TYPICALLY TAKE IT FROM, I TOLD THE I WAS A SWIMMER AND I DONT HAVE BODY HAIR, AND THEY DIDNT GIVE ME ANY FLACK ABOUT IT THE JUST TOOK IT FROM MY HEAD, BUT THEY NORMALLY TAKE IT FROM THE ARMPITS OF MEN. i hope this helps some of yall land a good job.

If you are a daily drug user, the toxin shampoo's will not work. The people who pass are people who don't use on a daily basis, not even a weekly basis. The people who pass, are people who may have used once or twice in the last three to six months. These people would have passed without using anything. If you are going to try and use one of these methods, you are only going to make a fool out of yourself. I wouldn't waste your money on any of these products.

After spending countless hours on the internet and doing research on how to pass a Hair Follicle drug screening (eek) this is what we did for my husbands job and he only smokes, so as far as I know this only works for THC-COOH (which is a way they can tell by your hair that you actually inhaled and it's not "2nd" hand smoke as some seem to claim as a way to get out of it.
Heres a list of things you will need
-T-GEL shampoo (the strongest one)
-a Perm WITH AMMONIA
-household ammonia
distelled vinegar
-dish soap (dawn)
-we used "all clear" so I assume all the detox shampoos are the same so whatever one you decide on is ur choice
heres the steps
STEP 1-WAS HAIR A COUPLE OF TIMES WITH DISHWASHING LIQUID
STEP 2-PERM (THIS WILL OPEN UP CUTICLE OF HAIR TO ACCESS CORTEX (SHAFT)
STEP 3- WASH 7-8 TIMES WITH T-GEL SHAMPOO TO LEECH CORTEX OF HAIR)
STEP 4-AMMONIA DILUTED IN WATER RINSE THEN DO A VINEGAR RINSE
STEP 5 - FINALLY USE YOUR "DETOX BOUGHT SHAMPOO
Now I have done some research on the shampoos as well we waited to do the last step the morning (no more that 5 hours prior) to the hair follicle drug screening . we did steps 1 thru 4 3 times over the weekend just to be safe

Smoked weed every day for years. Had to pass follicle test on short notice -

bleached and redyed 2x. Weekend before test.
Used new pillowcase and towel.
Washed with omni shampoo 1hr before test 2x.

And PASSED!

This was my situation and how I passed my hair drug test.
This may sound crazy, but it was more dangerous and painful if anything.
Second of all my drugs of choice are cocaine (3 to 5)times per week and weed(1 to 2) times per week. My hair is light brown cut military style.

Was told by potential employer at 4pm I needed to take a hair sample drug test the next day by 12 noon or it would be considered a " no show " and a fail. Didn't want to take the chance of a mail order product not showing up on time since I live in the sticks.

Here comes the crazy part and you may want to do this outside!!!!

1) Washed hair with regular shampoo, rinsed with HOT WATER.
2) Washed with neutrogena t-gel for 15 minsand rinsed with HOT WATER.
3) Got down on my knees bent over a 5 gal. bucket. Poured GASOLINE. Yes U read correctly. over my head once, scrubbed with fingers and hands. The smell was unbearable.
4) repeat step 3 for 15 to 20 minutes. Note: Be prepared for pain because the more u scub and the next dose of gas is applied it will burn.
5) Apply Gojo to head and let sit for 10 mins. then rinse wit hot water. U dont want to use the one with the Pumice in it. I imagine that would hurt like hell.
6) Finally use t gel, rinse and done.

DID THIS ALL OVER AGAIN THE NEXT MORNING AND TOOK A VERY HOT SHOWER TWICE. DONT BE AFRAID OF THE SOAP, AS U DO NOT WANT TO SMELL LIKE GAS AT THE COLLECTION FACILITY!!!!!!!

My hair felt like straw and was brittle. My reasoning was to destroy the biological makeup of my hair while still keeping it in my head. Since gasoline is a strong solvent and it destroys live human tissue over a period of time it should destroy hair rather quickly.

The company called me four days later. SAID I PASSED!!!!! and offered me the position. After going through their orientation and reading their policies the hair sample is only pre-employment. Everything later is urine analysis.

Just get a perm, Super, leave in as long as possible, wash with the neutralizing shampoo 3 times, then use your normal brand shampoo 2 or 3 more times. That's it. You can do this the day before the test. I smoke everyday and have been tested many times, never failed once. The point is, is that you have to know in advance so that you can perm your hair just before getting tested. Otherwise, getting test 3 days after a perk may "set you free" (get you "fired" or "failed"), whichever comes first...

Is there any hope for me? I did coke four times in three weeks I was told this past wednesday that I had a random hair test . At which point I washed with TGel shampoo, Clean and clear, Tide detergent. Then on thursday I started using Synergy Toxin wash with all the pre wash treatments. Friday I continued the wash along with a vinegar rinse and a baking soda paste for a few minuetes.. My scalp was on fire. Right before the test I did one last final wash for an hour straight. Im having major anxiety hope I passed but I am thinking real negative about all of this! Its hard to tell who is genuine on here and who is lying. The test will be posted 48 hours from monday. It is a quick test which I hope means less accurate. Any comments that could ease my mind would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I used Nexxus Aloe Rid.. For my Test.. Once a Week ago, and THen again just before the test.. Each time.. I used this Product.. I soaked my hair in Apple cider vinegar to soften hair fibers.. I know I am at least 76 days clean.. Probably a little more.. But, My results will be due back any day.. If you passed Could you post.. I am a nervous Wreck.. I need a Job so Bad... Thanks...

FYI...find out what lab they are sending the hair to. Psychemedics in Cali has a different prep method and that process gets higher and more accurate readings. Keep your fingers crossed they are sending it to Quest, Lab Corp or Omega. My boyfriend pass all three and failed Psychemedics...good luck!

I have smoked every day for past 9 years. was clean for for 1 week in april. took a hair test after 1 week. aparently i passed. but because its a temporary position not sure if it was actually tested. i bleached my hair dyed it back, bleached it and then dyed back again. i also used aloe rid for a week and i used the stat shampoo kit for 2 days. now i am going for another position that requires me to take a hair test. i have been clean for 52 days. by time i take test prob 76 days. if my first hair test actually wasnt done because of temporary position, what would you suggest. ne one?
PS if ne1 has used stat shampoo kit and pass/fail please give feedback on the product. i cant seem to find any bad feedback on stat kit. thx

I applied at this awesome job, well i had drank last night and decided to smoke weed like a dumb a**!! this head corporate girl i know is getting me the job... i NEED to pass this hair test... it goes back for three months or so. i only hit the joint 3 times (but still) last night june 9 2011 and before that it was a month since i have smoked pot. All that is in my hair is POT ONLY! now three months ago i have smoked but def. @I can do it: I trimmed my body hair and went in and they said I dont have enough hair. My employer told me to go back when my hair grows out a lil more. Will my head hair be clean by then? It will be 50+ days no smoking, and my hair will be a lil over a half an inch(minimum needed they said) I buzzed it 20 days after my last session, probably gonna teim it again before I go back...half inch minimum!

I also want to add that I did a lot of research for this hair test. Also, I'm not sure how much Toxin Wash helped at that point, but I can't go back in time and not use it. For all of you with thicker hair: don't use the Mac Method, it's not 2002 anymore. You need to open your hair cuticles (read: ruin your hair). You can get a perm, you can use relaxer, you can get 3 bleach/redye jobs.
Using just the shampoo may get dirt out of your hair, but the drug metabolites are inside the cuticle. Mac method closes the hair cuticle. You need to use a strong base (see list above) to open, then wash with shampoo to clear the gunk out.

Ok everyone, I recently took both a UA and a hair test, and passed both. I just wanted to share my experience so that maybe it can help you. About me: female, 5'6", 120 lbs, 15" of blonde hair that varies from raspberry blonde to dirty blonde. I stopped smoking weed about a year ago, but c'mon, that's the easiest drug to get out of your hair. Past use was weekly stimulants and occasional coke benders, occasional MDMA. I had 2 weeks to get all that stuff out, was clean 3 weeks before the test.
Week 1: Start Mac method (look it up). I modified it - didn't use clean&clear, and used Gain detergent. It doesn't matter what brand of detergent you use, they're virtually the same. Did this for 3 days. My hair hated it. Then I read by virtue of the internet that that doesn't work. A girl here at High Times used relaxer, that's supposed to open up the hair cuticle. Being scared for my thin white person hair, I got the kids stuff, followed directions. After 8 minutes it was stinging too bad for me to bear, so I washed it off. Then washed with Neutrogena T-gel shampoo, then detergent. Repeat T-gel and detergent. At this point I was tired of washing my hair and said fuck it for the day.
Rest of days in week 1: wash hair with Neutrogena T-gel, then detergent, then T-gel.
Week 2: decide to buy another box of relaxer because the hair still feels like the cuticle is closed. Buy Toxin Wash. Do the same ritual every das as Week 1 end. 4 days before the test, applied relaxer again, this time waited 18 minutes before washing off, my head was stinging! After washing very thoroughly, used T-gel shampoo and detergent, did this twice. Then washed twice with Toxin Wash (used about 1 oz total). The next day got a friend to cut my hair about 4.5". Washed with Toxin Wash twice again. Every day up until the test, washed with Toxin Wash until the bottle was gone.
Was clean 3 weeks before the test, so no worries about toxins going back into the hair. Don't buy new sheets, towels, whatever. Just wash them in detergent and use a fresh one.
That was last week, this week I found out I got the job.

I had a problem with drugs a few years ago and ended up having to deal with Child Services. I was wrong and did not lie about my problem but because I passed the urine screen due to painful home detoxing I was ordered to do a hair test to prove my past use. I took my shame willingly and followed their rules to get my child back. I failed the test and knew I would. The problem I have is that they repeated the test 6months later and said I was still using I had a relapse during that time due to my shame so once again I was to blame. I stuck to the treatment and made a life change. My child was to be adopted if I could not get it together. I submitted clean urine screens and went into court once again knowing this time I would be clean. To my shock and horror I tested the same, I know what I had done and what I was no longer doing but I was a lying drug addict that had no say. I lost my daughter because of that test and still live in pain. I had not tried to cut off my hair and I feel that the samples should have come from the same place each time in order to give the best time line but they were not and because of how trust worthy they are said to be I was not believed. I am not trying to excuse my actions but I was and am a good mom who made a mistake. I am not the type of mom who while on drugs neglected my child I asked my family for help before it got that far. Are there any rules to this type of repeated testing? I feel like if they leave with a years worth of growth then how do I know they processed it correctly. Why can't they cut the excess in front of you and preserve the 90 day's of growth? Any thought even thought it is probably to late I still want to know because it could make the difference for me one day. I barely get to see my daughter because of this my sister adopted her so I should be glad but I was lied to and used by OCS and there is nothing I know to do. I am not the only one in my area. I have even been told they make money off adoptions even if it is in the form of grants. I was to sick to fight them then but I want to help others and show my daughter I was not lying.

So many of you have so little clue how a hair test works. contamination is 2 fold internal and external. some drugs carry in the seat like coke or meth and some in the oils like THC . the faster the hair grows the oilier the skin. coke incorporates 4000 times more than other things , THC MUST have repeated use a couple of times a month wont be enough.
and you can only WASH out a limited amount of the external values internal must be broken down and metabolized like HAIR RAZOR does. They test for the drug and its main metabolite ,(except for coke they go 3 deep) hair razor destroys or metabolizes the drug then repeated treatments break it down further into a different metabolite class than what they test for . the mac method is just a weak over the counter way of trying to mimic the Hair razor and there is no real mask as it is impossible.

I cut my hair really short and its been three weeks since I have sone anything. All I have done was some Morpine and a few Roxys and thats it abut I will now remain clean. Dumb ass - (No pun intended)I think it depends on how close to the scalp they actually get with the scissors. Each 1/2-inch of hair provides a 30-day history of drug use. The standard test length (1.5 inches) provides a 90-day history. I have really long hair as well, so when they took the sample, they cut it about 1/4 of an inch from my scalp. Thus leaving me to believe that the last 2 weeks of drug use would not be detected. It takes approximately 4-5 days from the time of drug use for the affected hair to grow above the scalp. So, like I said, I would assume it depends on how close to the scalp they actually cut. You might be alright. Good luck. Let us know how everything turns out.

I'm a 24 year old, single mother of a beautiful little boy. 4 weeks ago, on his first birthday, the department of human services showed up at my door. They told me that I was being investigated for the use of illegal substances. Just a few days prior, my sons father tried to take my child for the weekend, although he has been absent in our lives since I was 5 months pregnant. I allowed him to see our child, in my home, but refused to let him take him without me being present. There is no established custody on my son, so naturally, I was skeptical to let my baby go. If his father decided to just keep him, he legally could, and I would have to take action against him to get my son back. (Hiring attorneys and going through the court proceedings.) This pissed him off, so he threatened to "get my child taken away". Essentially, DHS was contacted and now I'm forced to participate in their little circus and jump through hoops. Tomorrow I will be providing hair samples for a hair stat test. I've done extensive research, and I have reason to be nervous, so I just purchased 2 4oz. bottles of Toxin Wash. The reviews aren't too promising, but I'll give it a shot. For $200.00 plus some change, it better do something to my hair... preferably cleanse the cortex of metabolites, and not just make it fall out! Nonetheless, the test results should be in sometime next week, so I'll post the results as soon as possible. I got the pre-treatment directions and I'll follow the steps as directed. I don't want to think about what's going to happen if I fail this test...

Here are a few tips guys and girls.

The reason why the shampoos and cleaners won't work is pretty simple. When you deep cleanse your hair, it tends to grow faster as the follicles are now cleared out. The sebaceous glands in the follicle are still producing the oils that coat the hair and make it fail the test. If you cleanse and then have your test in 8 hours or more, there is a good chance that enough hair growth has come from the follicle due to the stimulated growth that it will be detected.

This doesn't mean it will work if you do it just an hour before the test either. Most testing facilities know that these products exist and look for the chemicals in them as part of the test. They may fail you if they detect the chemicals or simply report it to the employer.

The fact is they are taking the hair closest to the scalp which will show the last 45 to 90 days of drug use. If you have gone for a month without partaking, you may be able to pass the test since the older parts of the hair have been washed down by normal cleaning.

Finally, I would suggest looking at your state's laws on drug testing. A few have no laws but most have some. Your employer or potential employer cannot violate these laws even though many do. In addition, many legal experts feel that drug testing, especially random drug testing, is against the 4th and 14th amendments and your right to privacy. It may not be worth it to file a lawsuit against someone who doesn't hire you, but if you get fired for a random drug test and are not in a safety-sensitive position, you would want to consider your legal options.

I want to give my experience with the dreaded hair drug test. It seems a lot of people post questions, but rarely ever posts the outcome.

First off, I was amazed at how many jobs I’ve applied for in the past few months that
have a drug screen policy. Warehouse, office staff, retail, maintenance, assembly, even a goddam brewery, ANY driving position- they all test. Mostly urine screens. I even had hiring agencies send me for a screen before even LOOKING for a position for me to apply for. I don’t care what you may think or have read about this not being legal because they’re doing it.

About me- This is my experience in New York State, others may vary. I have a thin build, almost no fat on me. I have smoked almost DAILY from 2007 to November 2010. I got baked again for Thanksgiving weekend, and one more time around Christmas break. We always had decent shit and the most common way to ingest was with a vaporizer.

SO I was offered a second interview where I learned this place required a HAIR test that went back 9-12 months. Soon after, I had another possibility that also required a hair test. After learning the testing method of the first place I got a home hair test kit from a drug store. I decided to do a body hair test, as I learned that was the way both places tested.

6 weeks after I had last smoked, I sent in my test sample. I didn’t buy any magic potions, shampoos, or other detox cleaners. 3 days later I got my results- I passed! Not sure why, if it was of my lack of body fat, the length of time not smoking, the fact I preferred the vaporizer over a joint, the test not being totally accurate??

I’m now curious what a full time smoker would come up as with the same brand test. I know someone who smokes more than god himself, and I want to test him. I’m thinking on somehow doing my own study. While I was nervously searching the internet looking for a way to beat the test I came across a lot of these hair cleansing kits that are just a total rip off…

HAIR TEST tomorrow....was clean from January 1st to March 4th....smoked about 15-20 times since then, did about 2 grams of blow on March 6th, and have taken about 20 adderall. I have Toxin Wash and Zydot and bleached my hair last night. I have also been doing baking soda pastes and using propylene glycol. I reallyneed to pass this test...anyone else passed it after using coke?!

Don't belive it folks just like the other guy said. I used the toxin wash followed preinstructions. Washed over ten times, and guess what I FAILED. It's all scams. I belive everyone saying they passed are lieing just to see us fail or get are money. I have a buddy who failed on the product hair razor and it suggest he bleach his hair to and after all that he failed his test. I've talked to many people who have tried everything and everyone fails. If anyone is interested I'm thinking of starting my own scam hair cleaner and sell it for half of what everyone else is selling it for, and I have all sorts of research that I made up that proves it works. I really hope this helps because nothing I read or bought helped me.

See previous posts. I took the test again and passed this time. I used Toxin Wash, bought 2 bottles, used both bottles in 4 washes in a row. In between I rinsed with baking soda solution and distilled water per the directions.

Last time I smoked as Jan 3rd. Took the 1st test March 3, 2nd test March 11.

Using vinegar closes up the hair follicle, it needs to be open to get cleaned. That is where the baking soda comes in.

I'm sorry to say theirs nothing you're going to put in you're hair that will clean it. I just lost the best job because these people make these wild claims just so we buy there products. Followed all instructions and still failed. Used toxin wash, hair razor, bleached my hair twice and did a full body detox. I also did the MAC METHOD. Was clean for three weeks before test. Only smoked maybe twice a day before I was told about the test. All the good reviews are by the people who sell These products just to get us to buy them. So everyone was right the only way is to stay clean. Well I hope this helps someone out, because I looked for hours and hours and no one is telling the truth about these scam products. Don't miss out like I did just stay clean! Oh and I spent over $300 on all this.

I just got back my results and they came back positive for THC. I was hitting it pretty hard there from June to December, then totally stopped. I used the hair detox shampoo for 6 washes following the directions carefully.

The results are 1.02 pg/mg with the confirmation limit 1 pg/mg. So I almost beat it, but not quite. I may talk to my lawyer about taking it again. It's for child custody.

I have short hair and went thru 2 bottles of the shampoo. I did not blow dry my hair, but the directions did not say you had to. I would recommend using 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of distilled water for rinsing as I found 1 to not be quite enough. The shampoo is very thick.

I am a black woman with thick, dark hair about 15in. long. I was told last minute when applying for a job I would have to take a hair strand test. I had to take it that same night and I passed...Here's what I did:

I first put a hair relaxer in my hair (super). Aside from the relaxer it self, I did not use any other contents included in the box. Once it started to tingle I got in the shower and rinsed my hair thoroughly and then proceeded to wash with Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo. Washed with Neutrogena about an hour. I then started washing my hair with Tide liquid laundry detergent, regular scent. I did this approximately 2 times. I made sure to rinse EXTREMELY well in between each wash throughout the overall process. In between every other wash I also rinsed hair well with distilled white vinegar. Every 3 washes I used the pink clean and clear (2% acid), just pour all over hair. When I was washing I scrubbed hair for about 15-20 min. at a time. This process of changing from T-Gel, tide, vinegar, and clean and clear continued for about 2 hours. I then washed my hair according to the directions of Pure Test. I did this twice. I then started using T-Gel, vinegar, and clean and clear. I repeated this for another hour then I spent about 20 min. just rinsing my hair. I then used HTRmax. I used the entire bottle with 3 washes, 20 min. a piece. After the last wash I rinsed hair thoroughly, towel dryed with brand new towel. I quickly got dressed in clothing thant did not have to go over my head. I immediately went to testing center making sure no clothing touched my hair and that I did not sweat.

My scalp was burning as well as eye area, ears, and neck. This discomfort was still there 5 days later along with dry skin...BUT IT WORKED!

Loved your post. I have done extensive research and you have the most comprehensive knowledge and useful for that matter out there.

I am ready to do everything you said. One thing I am worried about is that I have smoked a shitload for a long time. Does it matter with a hair follicle test if you are using a hair detox to pass and smoking up to the test or should there be a layoff period? By that I mean I only have a couple days until this goes down.. It does not seem to be as big of an issue as when doing urinalysis, but I may be wrong. I am looking for feedback on this, so help me out if possible. Thanks-

I'm the most paranoid person in the world and when I found out I had a follicle test for my job, I seriously had panic attack. I'm not a druggy, I graduated college with honors and this was my dream job in a bad economy. I had just smoked about 2 week before. However, after countless hours of research and worry, I settled on buying the Toxin Wash. And what ho! I PASSED.

I have long black hair and have smoked about once or twice a week for the last 3 months. I followed the Toxin Wash exactly, bought the T-gel and went to the sauna everyday before the test in hope of sweating out all the THC in my system. I had a Hair test i had to take after getting into an auto accident and my company wanting it to go through workers comp. I didn't want that, but at that point, it was too late. I have a 6 figure management position and did not want to lose it. I was freaking out to say the least, but after reading Mark's post (and many others) I decided on Toxin Wash. I want to preface the fact, that I quit indulging about 3 weeks prior to my test as I figured I was going to have to take a UA test, so when they called and mentioned a follicle test, I was very worried. I knew they would go back at least 45 days, and most likely 90. I got the certified letter in the mail on a Wednesday and I decided to take the test the following Thursday. (I was traveling for work at the time so I was able to buy a little extra time before having to go take the test).

Here is exactly what I did:
1 week Prior to test-Thursday-
bought Neutrogena T-Gel Extra Strength Shampoo and washed Thursday evening-twice.
Friday-Washed in the AM with T-Gel and again in the evening with T-Gel. Scrubbed hard for 5-10 minutes each time. Limited hair spray after washing.
Saturday-Washed in the AM with T-Gel and again in the evening. Scrubbed hard for 5-10 minutes each time. Limited hair products after washing.
Sunday-Morning with T-Gel, limited hair products. Evening, soaked hair for 20 minutes with Heinz Vinegar with shower cap, and then scrubbed Tide (original) into hair for 5 minutes and let sit for an additional 30 minutes. Rinsed with water and washed hair with T-Gel after that. Again, limiting hair products.
Monday-Exact same as Sunday. Use very little hair spray and I used no gel at all. New Pillow case on pillow
Tuesday-Same as Sunday and Monday. New Pillow case on pillow.
Wednesday-Morning T-Gel application and dried with new store bought towel.
Wednesday Night-followed Toxin Wash instructions exactly as they said in the box it came with. The Baking Soda step is by far the worst as it will burn your face, so be very careful when you use it. It is very crucial that you do this step. I called Toxin Wash and asked about doing this, and they confirmed it must be done to open the hair. Use a store bought brand new towel and new pillow case in the evening. Use a brand new hairbrush as well.
Thursday morning-Day of Test-follow the instructions for Toxin Wash exactly how they are written. Do not touch your hair with anything after you finish the application. You will definitely need another person to help with the rinsing and or scrubbing of the Toxin Wash as it is very thick and hard to rinse.
I have thick black hair about 3 inches long and I was VERY worried about taking the test. I don't wish this on anyone to have to go through this, but this worked for me, and I hope it will work for you as well. PLEASE, stop indulging if you think you may have to take a test, and follow the instructions exactly. I think the T-Gel is very important as it will strip your hair of all the daily toxins in your hair and allow the Toxin Wash to penetrate fully.

When you read the pre-treatment instructions for Toxin Wash, you can substitute dish-washing soap with Neutrogena T-Gel Extra Strength shampoo. I wrote down the instructions I used several posts below; I used the T-Gel instead of liquid dishwashing soap. But once again, I basically followed the pre-treatment instructions here, at:

I posted a couple comments about hair-follicle tests back on July 17, and again on July 23. I thought I'd stop by and read what folks have posted since mine.

First of all, I really can't help but feel bad to hear about the terrible misfortune of the lady "DevistatedMother" who had a bad experience with Toxin Wash. She states that she "followed the instructions perfectly", and I believe she probably did. Unfortunately, she didn't mention if she followed the ultra-important "PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCIONS" before using Toxin Wash. And this is the 64 thousand dollar question. I'd used Toxin Wash over 10 years ago, once before bedtime and once again the next morning before a follicle test, and it worked...I passed. I followed the directions that were on the bottle at the time. Not to mention, my hair was super long at the time too. Yet Toxin Wash worked, and I passed the hair-follicle test.

Fast-forward 10 years later...the last hair-follicle test I took back in July 2010...this time I used the pre-treatment instructions, as I just couldn't take a chance at not getting hired after being out of work for 2 years. So although DevastatedMother didn't pass her hair-follicle test, we don't know if she did the pre-treatment steps, or not.

THE HAIR MUST FIRST BE STRIPPED OF ALL OUTER TOXINS, prior to using/doing the Toxin Wash treatments! If you don't do this and flunk your test, then don't say you were not warned! If you don't do the pre-treatment first, then Toxin Wash very well may not penetrate all the way through the hair-shaft. And that my friends, is why the pre-treatment is so incredibly important; the hair is first cleansed and stripped of all outer toxins, which now prepares the hair shaft for Toxin Wash to do it's job. In any event, it's an absolute tragedy for this poor women...an apparently decent, hard-working Mom, whom now has to lose her kids because of one solitary and isolated mistake. I mean...talk about injustice!

At any rate, when using Toxin Wash, you simply MUST do the PRE-TREATMENT, for Toxin Wash to work. And it's as simple as that. Unfortunately, I can't say why it worked for me, yet not for her. What I can say, is that I followed the instructions per the link below to the letter, and passed my hair-follicle test. So my advice to anyone who may be reading this, and freaking-out about passing your hair-follicle test, do yourself a big fat favor and read my other two posts below. If it worked for me, then I can't see any reason why it can't work for anyone else.

Remember, information is power. So inform yourself and you'll get through this just like all the others who passed their hair-follicle test. The first thing you need to do, is cut/paste the link below into your web-browser, and read it. You'll pass your hair-follicle test and you'll be fine.

!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT BUY TOXIN WASH!!!!!!!

This stuff does not work!!! I paid about $115 for it (including overnight shipping) and I followed the instructions perfectly!!! I NEVER do drugs. I smoke weed maybe once every 6 months. I went out for my birthday and drank way too much. A friend of a friend offered me a tiny "sniff" of coke to "sober me up" so I wasnt making a fool of my self. Then 3 months later I had to take a hair folicle drug test for a child custody hearing with one of my sons father. (I have 2 sons - each has a differant dad). Needless to say I freaked out and bought Toxin Wash. I failed my hair folice test! Now My son is being taken away from me and I have to go to court next week with my younger sons father because now that I failed the test, he is going to take my other son from me. I have worked the same job for over 5 years, in the medical field. I have a college degree, no criminal record and I compete in fitness competitions regularly and spend alot of time at the gym and participating in sports with my children. I was really counting on Toxin Wash to save my reputation and erase this one bad choice I made on my birthday. BUT IT DID NOT WORK! NOW I HAVE LOST BOTH MY CHILDREN. And to top it off, I just found out I am pregnant and the courts may involve the Dept. of Children and Familes with my new baby, with whom the father I am engaged to and have been with for 3 years.

LONG STORY SHORT TOXIN WASH IS A JOKE AND IT DOES NOT WORK. I WOULD SUE THE COMPANY IF I COULD.

smoked a few times every day for a couple years, got a new job decided they were goin to hair test me after a couple months. they let me know a month before i had to do it which was nice. so i quit smokeing cut my hair short and bought a bunch of toxin wash. about a week before the test i cut all the hair on my body haha i didnt shave it down but made it short enough to were they would only take it from my head because i heard body hair goes back 3x as long. i started doing daily washes with toxin wash and made sure that after the first use i changed all my bedding pillow cases, stopped wearing any hats used new towels and never let anything touch my head that might have been contaminated w/THC oil from previous times. Took the test and passed no problem. Daily routine was coal tar shampoo wash followed by dish washing soap then backing soda then toxin wash. let everything stay on my head for at least 10 mins but toxin wash for 25 mins. Stuffed worked for me but im sure everyone is dif. Good Luck to anyone having to take one, some nerve wrecking sh^%.

DONT BUY TOXIN WASH. IT IS A COMPLETE F'N SCAM. I USED IT AND FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS TO THE T. I WAS NOT EVEN THAT HEAVY OF A SMOKER AND IT HAD BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAD LAST SMOKED. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE LAB AND I FAILED!!!!!!!! TOTAL B.S. DON'T BUY TOXIN WASH!!!!!!!

I was offered a job yesterday, urine and hair follice tests to be done tomorrow. After reading many,many articles, and techniques, I decided the best way is of course not to smoke. BUT,,, since I only had 1 bowl of decent THC, 2 months ago, a couple of one hitter 3 to 4 months ago. b4 that not much, until way back in FEB or March. My hair is only 2 to 3 inches, I'm 5,10 180#, don't eat a lot of fat or fast foods, takes vitamins, frutis and veggies, little exercise. So today I'm going with the following, hair rinse with apple cider vinegar, I let it soak for 20 minutes, rinsed with distilled water, next up, isopropyl alcohol, same as b4, next Neutrogena t-gel, same as b4, did that 2x, and then clarifier, 30 minutes, distilled water rinse, tide laundry soap powder,30 minutes and my scalp was burning, tap water rinse,too soapy for all the distilled water I had, then poured some more alcohol on, 30 minutes so far, and burning for a few minutes. I have some toxin wash coming overnight to use in the morning after apple cider vinegar wash, 4x tar gel, and maybe another bout with tide, after that the toxin wash. I will post my results when they come. I will pass piss test no prob, just hair I'm worried about. FUCKING LAWMAKERS. If I ever run for
governor in my state, legalizing medical marijuana will be on my platform, and one of the first things I push for. ILLINOIS SUCKS.

So I just came back from human resources today and I have the casino job! I truly have to say that the Toxin Wash shampoo saved my ass! I 100% recommend it to any one that is stressing over a hair test. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE T... DO NOT TAKE SHORTCUTS!!! Wal-Mart will have all of your supplies for cheap. A few warnings though... 1) Your arms will get tired from scrubbing your hair that it's better if you do it sitting down in your tub with your knees bend and your arms resting on top of them for support. 2) Be careful not to get the shampoo in your eyes as I did because it will leave your skin red and it will peel later. My excuse to my friends was that I forgot to put on sunblock because it lookeed like I had a sun burn around my eyes and nose. 3) Maybe it's because I used Palmolive w/ Oxyclean to wash all the gunk from hair products in my hair but 8 hours after the first wash my hair was seriously on fire! There was a burning sensation that was very annoying to say the least, but just suck it up because it's worth it in the end!!! Try to stay as clean as possible...drugs, smoking, and alcohol... you don't want to risk anything showing up on your test. Drink a lot of water and keep your hair as clean as possible. after the drug test, you should really consider using Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Silk & Smooth shampoo and Conditioner because it will restore a silky smooth look to dry and frizzy hair, while leaving your hair free of dandruff because of the dry ass scalp you're going to have with this hair detox. 4) try and use a moisturizing lotion without any scent for your hands if they become dry and ashy. DO NOT USE PETROLEUM JELLY A.K.A. VASELINE BECAUSE OF THE RISK OF YOU SCRATCHING YOUR HEAD AND RE-CONTAMINATING YOUR HAIR WITH IT. THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO WASH YOUR HAIR OUT WITH DISH SOAP IN THE FIRST PLACE. Other than that, I found this product to work like a charm! Keep on smokin'... like Snoop said.. Please, Please , Please read carefully!!!!! I took a hair follicle test 11 days ago. Like everyone else, I read up on how to beat it.

Smoking Habits: Once a week, weed varies.
Hair Type: Medium Thick, Medium Shade, Dyed, Long
Products Used: Tar Shampoo, Dish Soap, ClearChoice, Laundry Detergent, Vinegar, Clean & Clear (Not in this order.)
I even used new towels, brushes, clothes, and shower caps.
**Rushed to Concentra lab to take the test during the 1st hour for which the product claimed was the best time slot to do so. ***
I followed every direction.

IMPORTANT:

HOW PSYCHEMEDICS WORKS: They dissolve your hair to liquid. There’s no “not seeing “ the drugs. You can’t mask anything.

90 DAYS/1.5 INCHES: Lies, lies, and more lies.

1. It goes back longer than 90 days. I just happened to get my hair cut and colored 3 months ago. Haven’t gone again yet. My roots are �”-�” long, not 1.5” long.

*MARINOL* : HA! Seriously, I read that people told the doctor from the lab they are on this. Synthetic THC, Marinol is only given to people with AIDS or Cancer. I even asked my orthopedic doctor for it. He didn’t mind me asking, said the war on drugs is a joke, but couldn’t prescribe it. Doctors need special licensing to do so. Most do not have such licenses.

Looking back, I realize that I shouldn’t have went on interview 2 and 3. I wish I didn’t waste my time and money on all the products. I could have applied at another time. This job would have almost tripled my income, so I tried the best I could. It just didn’t matter in the end. My head and hair is still feeling the pain. I never thought that I would be affected by this situation, however it deeply depresses me that society discriminates against pursuing happiness.

So I first started smoking weed again, after 3 years of staying clean, back in May '10 and stopped around mid June '10. After that I only smoked a bowl in late July '10. I'm 5'8" & 240lbs and I drink a lot of water. I have thick dark brown curly hair and I just cut it using a #6 on top and #3 on the sides... just short enough for a hair sample. I have a hair test coming up for a casino job and my friend gave me this product called Toxin Wash. He smokes all day, everyday, and gives me his "personal fucking guarantee" that it will work. I'm stressing out so much because I really need this job! I will try doing the vinegar/distilled water rinse + Toxic wash twice today (9/19/10) and on the morning of the test (9/20/10). I will definitely post my results. If you have any advice to give me that would be much appreciated as well!

I just wanted to let everyone on here know that I passed my hair follicle test and I am a mild/moderate smoker (once a week) with long jet black hair. It is possible to pass without buying expensive shampoos online. I have a hair test coming up for a company I am interviewing with. I stopped smoking two weeks before. I did the mac method ONCE and couldn't stand the smell so I decided to pay for my own test (so i could stop torturing my hair--continue torturing, depending on the results)
I soaked my hair in apple cider vinegar for 30 mins
used clean n clear astringent and left that on for another 30 mins, washed it off with tide liquid. then used neutrogena tgel and tsal shampoos that i bought at target. and washed it all off with Paul Mitchell 3 clarifying shampoo bc I couldn't find Aloe Rid. I did this the night before my hair test that I paid for (120 at quest for a five panel test...the same one employers use) Went in the next day and did a Jane Doe test (which means I had to call in for my results and I do not get any paper results)
Called after the long holiday and the results came back negative.

I was completely freaked out about the hair test--but it is possible to pass the 5 screen bc they look for less amounts of THC. I am not sure if I would pass if they did a drug specific test, bc with that test--they look for the smallest traces of THC.

I hope this helps at least one person out there =)

Fellas, need some help. Hair test coming up in a few days. I have read Mark's posts, and have washed twice with the T Gel, this morning and last night, and also one application with a swimmer's shampoo, which was about 20 minutes ago. I will be doing the T Gel again tonight, and then twice a day for the next two and then taking the test on Thursday. The last time I smoked was July 31st and before that was June 13th. I smoked a blunt that weekend, a little on the 30th and a little on the 31st. Also I ate an aderol 3 weeks exactly from the test day. Any thoughts on how much will still be in my hair and any other tips on passing the test?

issue: had to submit to a hair follicle drug test within 24 hours

background: daily smoker of kine, but only 1 or 2 hits a day; regularly workout ~4times/week; hair only 1 1/2 inches long at most

prep: morning of the test, washed with lice elimination shampoo (Rid) let soak for 10 minutes, then followed instructions on Ultra Clean; used new towel and wore new shirt bought the night before

results: testing sensitivity of 1 pico gram per millimeter of hair for THC, and PASSED!!

the testing labs use methanol(indy racing fuel radio control model fuel and methyleme chloride (kleen strip paint remover)).I don't know how you would apply it without touching your skin though.maybe mix with shampoo 2 minutes 3 times should totally remove all THC

Dear Concerned,

Recently passed hair drug test. I was a moderate pot smoker (3 to 4 joints a week of very strong chronic). Read every article on the web, many several times. Had three weeks to prepare. Hard to differentiate on the web advertorials from people who really used approaches that worked so I did everything. I think the real key to passing was bleaching my hair to platinum white - took four bleaching treatments. Dyed it back to the natural color after going to white. Speak with a professional hair dresser so you don't kill your hair but damage it enough to eliminate sources that react to the lab test. I also did everything else you read about on the web at least 10 -15 times each: acne wash, anti-chlorine shampoo, coal tar shampoo, clarifying shampoo, tide clothes soap, dawn dish soap, color strippers, peroxide, vinager, baking soda = all in various combinations. I also did the Toxin Wash as a contingency but not sure this did anything but relieve me of money--- but at that point money was secondary. Good luck there is hope but you better work at it. Don't go overboard such that you scab up too much or lose your hair-- don't freak it is manageable. I was determined to pass and so can you if you quit everything immediately and have enough time. If you are too far gone on hard drugs then get some rehab. Also don't stress too much and keep a positive attitude!! Good Luck.

Alright, I am sure this works cause I did it and passed immediately after, and trust me I do alot of recreational activitys. Washed my hair with dawn dish soap 3 times, then 2 times with the toxin wash and twice with this stuff called heli-tox. It worked! i had alot more than just a job riding on whether or not i passed. oh by the way i do Not do cocaine. cocaine is oil based and will not come out of your hair no matter what. so good luck with this if you only do marijuana and opiates.

O.K. quick question, I had to take a drug test, I don't smoke marijuana, I don't oppose it, it just doesn't sit well with me, anyways. I take my guitarist around once a week for band practice and he smokes in my car and I get some second hand, I hadn't been around it for 10 days, so will I pass? Thank you very much

Hi folks, out of the blue I was offered a job with an old boss. Her company uses a contract agency. I had 2 weeks to get ready for a hair test. I was a light to moderate smoker. Did a lot of internet searching. Here is what I did and it worked: I died my hair twice in the 2 week period, then used nexxus shampoo and conditioner 4-5 times in that period, then - and this is just my riff, I put Aspercreme on my head - all around the crown. This was in October of 2009. Got the job. Good luck to all.

This comment is for people to use for determining which products to use when it comes to passing a hair follicle test.

Just like everyone else who has to take a hair follicle, my girlfriend and I were extremely nervous! She was hired on to a big multinational corporation and was informed she needed to take a hair follicle test. So the research begins, I spent hours reading reviews after after reviews, talking to different companies. We are both very educated and know when common sense needs to be used in a serious situation. She has been smoking pot off and on for the past 5 years and has tried coke once in January 2010. The last time she smoked was May 20th 2010, she has been looking for a real job and knew she needed a clear mind in order to do find a good paying job. 3 weeks after she was informed that she got the job and needed the hair follicle test. So quitting everything ASAP is the first matter of business.

Mid June 2010: neutrogena t gel twice a day for 1 month
Mid July 2010: Nexus aloe rid for 2 weeks and 3 times on the day of the test.
( every test day will vary, since it was a corporation the hiring process is long and drawn out, which gave adequate time to take necessary steps)
July 18th: first test, aloe rid wash x3, new brush, hair caps, new towel, new shirt. ZYDOT ultra cleanse. Read and follow instructions carefully.
TEST was canceled because the person who took the hair did not take enough!

Ok so order another packet of zydot ultra cleanse :
July 30 th second test: nexus aloe rid x3
zydot ultra cleanse shampoo.

August 5th : she just got the email, she passed and will start work aug 9th.

Side note: don't just rely on one method, use every precaution and stop smoking or using whatever
ASAP..... I think that Zydot is a good product or the company would not be around for 23 years.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for you hair post. I just got offered an amazing opportunity after being unemployed which doesn't start until next month. I found out today that there is a hair test that needs to be passed in order to keep the position. Fortunately that isn't until next month as well. I have never had to take any sort of drug test and I have been a steady smoker for a really long time. I'm going to to completely detox my system this month and I'm going to use your hair method with the hair toxin when the test comes. I was wondering if you had any information about good ways to detox your system. I have a month so I have time, but I was just wondering if you or anyone else had any tips. I have to put down the pipe for now, but at least two months of no bud will equal very high times.

Ok...per my post from a few days ago July 17th, I said I'd post the results of my hair drug test. Well...I'm happy to say that I PASSED! I begin my new job on Tuesday morning at a great company in the Seattle area. YEEE HA!

I can now report with complete honesty, accuracy, and full confidence that the combination of several applications of Neutrogena T-Gel Extra Strength shampoo over a 3 day period, 1 application of distilled vinegar, and 2 applications of Toxin Wash w/ distilled water rinse REALLY WORKS! I did 2 FULL Toxin Wash shampoos, and still have half the bottle left over. The stuff is super concentrated and super strong!!!

Another product that looks to be quite good is Hair Razor. After ordering Toxin Wash, I did more research and was seriously concerned whether I made a bad decision by purchasing Toxin Wash, and not Hair Razor. But hey, Toxin Wash did the job, by getting me the job! However, to be fair, Hair Razor looks to be an equally good product. That's for you to decide.

Now, there are several folks who posted here stating that Toxin Wash didn't work for them...well, my first guess is they probably didn't do the pre-treatment of T-Gel, vinegar, and Toxin Wash w/ distilled water rinse. 3 weeks ago I did a line of blow at a party, and took a few drags off of a joint. The following week I ate a couple percoset. All I can say is I PASSED THE HAIR TEST!

Anyway...see my first post below for additional info about the treatment that saved me, and got me the job. By no means am I trying to shill for Toxin Wash. As I said, Hair Razor looks to be an equally good product as well. Either way, just make sure you do the pre-treatment before you use either of these products.

I just want folks to know that there's no need to panic and freak-out. There is definitely a way around this draconian hair-test, so you can get that job you so desperately need. PISS tests are easy to pass:

1. GNC has the detox drink for $50 (drink ENTIRE bottle, pee several times drinking ALOT of water.) Go take test after 2hr waiting period of peeing.

2. To guarantee your result....get a "pee test kit" for $10 at your local Walgreens (to test before you take the test.)

HAIR tests IDK...I hear Omni Shampoo from a smoke store right before test MIGHT work. Everyone's situation is different!

fill a condom with someone else's pee. get a pocket hand warmer (the kind you shake up and it gets hot). wear tighty wighties the day of the test . tuck your pee filled condom next to your private areas with the hand warmer to the outside , not to get to hot on your skin. keep a safety pin in your watch pocket (that little pocket above your right jean pocket). when you go to piss, barely pull the condom out of your zipper hole , and puncture with the safety pin. you will get a little piss on the front of your jeans, but it is worth it.

I just got hired at a super paying job after not working for 2 full years, but have to submit to a hair test. I ordered a bottle of Toxin Wash ($105.00 overnight shipping) and a bottle of "Extra Strength" Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo ($7.00). I used Toxin Wash before, about 10 years ago and had very long hair. It worked then, so I hope it works now. My hair is now only about 3 inches long.

Step 1
Neutrogena T-Gel and worked the shit in for a full 10 minutes twice a day for 3 days; once in the morning and again at night before bed. I did it in the shower and used regular tap/shower water to rinse out the T-Gel. I used clean towels to dry my hair after every wash, and used a clean pillow case on my bed pillow each night before going to bed, so as to not let any oil from my pre-washed hair contaminate the now freshly washed T-Gel hair. Neutrogena T-Gel strips contaminants from the hair, in order to prepare the hair for Toxin Wash shampoo.

Step 2 (DAY OF TEST)
Yesterday, the day of the hair test, I again washed my approximately 3" hair with the Neutrogena T-Gel, again for the 7th time for 10 full minutes. Then rinsed it out with a full gallon of distilled water.

Step 3
Next, I washed my hair with 3/4 of a quart of Heinz distilled vinegar, and worked it into my hair and scalp for a full 10 minutes, and used another full gallon of distilled water to rinse the vinegar out of my 3" inch long hair. This part totally sucked, and it was friggin gross! But I did it anyway.

Step 4
Next, I used approximately 1 oz. of the Toxin Wash Shampoo and worked it into my head for a full 15 minutes and rinsed it out with another full gallon of distilled water. Toxin Wash shampoo is extremely concentrated. In other words, it would take about 5 oz. of regular/daily shampoo to soap up/foam up, as much as 1 oz. of the Toxin Wash Shampoo. Toxin Wash shampoo is extremely concentrated.

Step 4
Next, I used another 2 oz of the Toxin Wash shampoo a second time, and worked it into my hair and scalp for another 20 full minutes. By now my scalp and forehead was starting to burn a bit, but it wasn’t a big deal; it was tolerable. Again, I used a fresh clean towel to dry my hair and used a brand-new hair brush, so as to not contaminate my hair with any old hair from an old hair brush. Per the Toxin Wash instructions, I did not use any hair products after drying my hair. Towel dry with a fresh, clean towel, and a brand-new hair brush…and that was it.

To summarize:

Neutrogena Extra Strength T-Gel - 7 times for 10 to 15 minutes each use. Use fresh clean towel.

Distilled Vinegar - 3/4 of a quart 1 time for 10 minutes. Rinse w/ 1 full gallon of distilled water. Use fresh clean towel.

Toxin Wash Shampoo - 2 times, using approx 1 to 2 oz. of the product for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse hair with 1 full gallon of distilled water after each individual use. Towel dry with fresh clean towel. Comb out hair with new hair-brush, and let hair air dry.

And that’s it. I drove to the testing facility yesterday afternoon with the AC on full in my car, so as to not sweat, and contaminate my hair. A nice lady cut about 50 or so strands of hair close to my scalp, and sent it for testing. I’ll definitely post back the results. Needless to say, this entire process has been a bunch of bullshit, and a complete pain in the ass! After 2 full years of being out of work and broke, I finally got hired at a great paying job. But first I had to take a draconian hair test.

Now for you pieces of sh*t who piss and whine about illegal drug use, it’s none of you’re damn business what I, or anyone else does! I’m an American tax-payer and home owner. Perhaps you’d prefer me to go on welfare, and have your tax dollars support my unemployed ass? I didn’t think so. I mainly got high due to the simple fact that I’d been totally down and out, financially strapped, and completely depressed over it all. I consider myself to be a stand-up, decent, hard-working guy, who wants nothing more than to put food on my table, and continue to be a productive member of society. My occupation does not consist of doing any driving, or, the use of dangerous, mechanical equipment; I work in an office environment, and never once used on the job…EVER! Most people here are decent, hard-working folks, who just want to feed their families, make a living, and get on with their lives. So if you cry-babies can’t accept that, then keep your lame-ass, self-righteous, negative comments to yourself. No one here gives a flying fuck what you think!

One last thing…

It amazes me that a country can legalize alcohol and tobacco but not marijuana! Liquor and cigarettes are much more toxic and dangerous than weed but this is America and it is all about that dollar, dollar bill y'all! The government must be getting a cut from the dope-boys bringing it in from Mexico because if you legalize it, you will be able to get a pound of some good shit for about $200 and no profit for the FEDS! Another thing is how can you say that marijuana has medicinal purposes in one state but it is illegal to have in other states. This country needs to wake up and realize what's real and what's not! Lots of info suggest pre-treat with many options before useing purchased shampoo. Possibly pre washing with MAC method, vinegar, Acne skin liquid medication, tide, Coal-Tar shampoo, Anti-Chlorine Swimmers Shampoo, bleach, peroxide,rid (lice removal) all kinds of stuff. so much dont know what to do. if you want to pass a urine test for any of the five or ten panel drug tests here is what you do go to your doctor and get furosemide 40mg they are a strong, strong,water pill cost about 10.00 dollars take 2 the morning of the test drink at least a gallon of water tap is fine you will began to urinate within 30 minutes then about every 10 by the time of the test you will be pissing pure water i have done this for over ten years works every time so hope this helps and congrats on passing your test.

Pre-Employment Follicle Test

I was recently offered a job that required me to take both a urine test and a hair follicle test. When I learned of this information I was like a deer in the head lights. I was literally still high talking to the HR department. I freak. Had no clue on what to do. Did a ton of research and talked with some of the employees at the local head shops and devised this plan.

FYI: When a hair follicle test is administered they are testing the oil in your hair. Not the actual hair itself, but the chemicals which are attached to the hair. And this oil SHIT IS STICKY (kinda ironic). The oil spreads to your clothes, hats, pillow cases, car seats... pretty much anything that your hair touches.

Here's what I did.

Immediately stopped smoking. I'm not going to lie. It was tough but I really needed a job.

I bought three different shampoo's
1. Omni detox shampoo from a local head shop $40
2. CVS Coal-Tar shampoo from CVS pharmacy $6
3. Anti-Chlorine Swimmers Shampoo, super center $8

2 weeks prior to my test I rotated between the Coal-Tar shampoo and the Anti-Chlorine shampoo every morning and every night.

The day of the test I washed my hair probably 10 times. Using this rotation:
1. Laundry Detergent
2. Coal-Tar
3. Anti-Chlorine
4. Hydrogen Peroxide
5. Anti-Chlorine
6. Coal-Tar
7. 1st half of OMNI
8. Anti-Chlorine
9. Coal-Tar
10. 2nd Half of OMNI and left that shit in for like 20 minutes.
By the time I washed it all out of my hair my face and scalp were bright red.

*** Be sure to use a BRAND NEW TOWEL to ensure that no oil is already on it!!!!

I then put on a shower cap for which I wore to the test. And then put my clothes with the cap still on.I had my car head rests covered with plastic bags and drove to the test.

I was lucky enough to pass both tests and get the job. These tests are beatable if you take the right precautions and following the right steps. I'm not saying my method is flawless but it worked for me.

I recently passed three hair follicle drug tests (Sept 09 & Jan'10) after using Toxin Wash Shampoo. I just received notice of the result of a fourth test- taken in April, after not smoking for approx. 5 days- and it is positive. i tried everything and failed the first one. i blamed migraine medicine and they let me take it again. then i found this website that helped so much..
it said to kill a small child and cover your head in its blood. you also have to jump backwards 3 times and say vindorious zonzalor backwards 8 times while hopping on one foot. IT REALLY WORKS!!

Hello: I work for a pharmaceutical company. I have talked to the other people I worked with. They all passed using zydot or products similar.(including myself) we smoke pot daily and are fully functioning RECREATIONAL drug users. They all passed using these products at a very very reputable drug testing company!
I am sure some people do people fail drug test with shampoos; if you are an addict and don't ever go without drugs, no you probably wont pass! But, the rest of us with self control and a little bit of work can PASS!!!
Do your own research and ask around.Use the newest product available. There is a reason why some shit costs a hundred bucks and other shit cost 20, most likely the 20 buck shit is a mask detectable by a test.

HERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF INFO ON HOW IT REALLY WORKS A little bit of info from my chemistry degree and my colleagues of medical background:
Hair cells like skin are semipermeable (this is how LSD gets into your blood with skin contact) which means that: hair can absorb things you put in it (it just depends on how you get the hair cells to open and what your putting in it. Using hot water and cold water helps in this process. Metabolites are just the atoms your body produces after it it breaks down the drug. (This is a natural process which turns substrates(the drug molecule before the reaction) into products (the metabolite after reaction).
Now, some shampoos once again do this same type of reaction using different Enzymes that break down these remaining molecules even further. So, they no longer look like the drug molecule produced by your body under examination.
One treatment may not be enough..REPEAT....One treatment may not be enough...You may need to do this many times. Especially if you are over weight! (be honest with your self, if you eat ranch dressing on pizza and chicken YOU ARE OVER WEIGHT, if you weigh 115 lbs and never get exercise you have fat and the rules still applies). or, just a heavy USER

Another point to consider is people with dark hair deposit a lot more metabolites into your hair (this is why your hair is dark). for example: Pigment,which gives your hair color, is a secondary metabolites similar to those caused by drugs. Burning or altering the state of your hair is how treatments like after burn or toxin wash sometimes work, and why hair bleaching can work as well; they destroy the whole hair cell. (which does not work for thick hair) Think of a burnt wood match. If you break it in half there is still wood in the center! Once again hair is semipermeable, which means it may not allow these burning agents into the follicle. the cell closes to protect itself.
It takes enzymes to cause a change to the center, because the cell recognizes them as natural and allows them in!!! which is why some product work better.
The mac method may work because vinger may force your hair cells open and Tide Landry detergent is an enzyme which may break down these metabolites even further. (this is why it removes stains from clothing,enzymes break down the stain metabolites) and the acids like Clearasil work like toxin wash and after burn!

I would say that the combination of products a couple times is the best bet. zydot or similar products leaves your hair healthy because it uses natural enzyme processes. So, use it last and dont just use one method. Follow there directions leave shampoos in longer. Wash rinse and repeat.

If you are looking to pass a pre-employment hair follicle test (TOXIN WASH) will make you pass trust me i know! i recently wass offered a very well paying job but i had to pass a hair follicle test. i am a heavy weed smoker. I looked all over the net spending hours and hours looking for something that would work. i ended up at the local head shop and found Toxin Wash i had no idea if it was gonna work so i said fuck it and spent the $60 to go and take my owen test just to test the stuff i wasnt going to take any chances . Well any ways i just got the results back and i Passed. I would recommend buying some kind of COAL-TAR shampoo and using that at least 6 times befor using TOXIN WASH and taking the hair test if possiable . But the shit works so like i said if you wanna pass the hair test go buy TOXIN WASH.....

First off, I'm not involved in the promotion of Toxin Wash by any means. But I will tell you that I believe Toxin Wash works...plain and simple! I smoked every day, mutliple times a day, for the last 2 years...maybe missing a day or here or there. I was laid off about 7 months ago due to the economy crashing and coming from a job where my boss didnt care what we did, as long as we didnt do it on company time, a drug test never crossed my mind. Well that all changed when I was recently offered a new job with a larger scale company with a much better package from head to toe.

Now for the last month and a half, today is 3/21/10...i havent smoked at all. I have my first child on the way so stopping was for the baby and not for a job. Just my choice to move on from that for now. Anyway....during this interview I was told I would be hired only IF I pass a drug screen and my background comes back good. I thought, hey...I can pass a pee test. NOPE...It was a hair folicle exam! I about pooped myself because I know that the hair folicle test can test back 90 days or more.

I did what most of you would do....I freaked out and thought, i cant believe I have to get a hair test done, I AM SCREWED! RELAX, lol....So I checked the internet for what's out there.....how can I pass a hair folicle test? I came across Toxin Wash. I would be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical about the product, especially after reading some reviews I came across. I bought the Toxin Wash but I also went and purchased Noxema T/Gel. Before doing the Toxin Wash's, I washed my hair 6 times with T/Gel. Yes, after the 6th wash my head was extremly tingly. I then followed the instructions that Toxin Wash provides. I did this the night before the test, right before I went to bed, then the morning of. I stripped away my pillow cases, slept with the fan on, didnt let my hair touch anything that made contact with it prior to doing the wash. I took the test and 3 days later I got a phone call from the company hiring me saying I passed the test.

Again, I am NOT a person trying to promote Toxin Wash. Just trying to help others out who are in a situation. It worked for me and I'm someone who smoked a whole helluva lot over the last 2 years. Toxin Wash cost with shipping a little over $100. I would recommend that if you get into a sitaution like I did, go buy this stuff and hopefully it will work for you too. There's no doubt in my mind that if I didnt use this stuff, I would have failed miserably! Good luck

Hello: Just thought I would let everyone on here know. I just passed my hair follicle test at Quest diagnostics in Las Vegas. I used using Zydot ultra clean. (which I bought at the local head shop). I also used tide, vinegar, clean and clean 5% acid, and rid lice shampoo. and, let everything sit in my hair for about 30 minutes (mac method). I am 155lbs and typically smoke about an eighth a week. I did blow, once about two weeks ago, LSD about three times over the last three months and E once. I did however stop smoking pot for about three weeks prior. I do get quite a bit of exercise, (skating/Boarding) and hear this gets the metabolites out of your system faster. Well, hope this helps. I may check this thread to answer any further questions. I do not work for Zydot by the way!!

Ok here's the deal. was clean since sept. got stoned all thru christmas and new years. went for a job interview and had to take a drug test. wasn't sure if it was hair or urine. used toxin wash 6 times....left it on my head for 3 to 4 times the instructed time. wash hair for a week before that with coal tar and dawn. got a major hair cut right to the 1 1/2 lenght needed.freaked out for a week ....just got the news.....I PASSED!!!!! lots of non information on the net about it, not recommending anything....just posting what happened with me....good luck.....

Do i have anything to worry about? I never do drugs and around the passing of a relative i smoked 3 times once in july once in august and once in october hitting a joint roughly 5 times total. I had to take a hair follicle test in late january of 2010 and they took it from my arm. What are the chances i failed? Before this time i didnt smoke for 12 years.

I have hair test in two weeks. I'm a not so heavy smoker and heavy drinker. I am only concerned about HTC results (cannabis) and EtG (Alcohol)as I don't do any other drugs.

I have done a ton of research, some via forums etc. like this one and some via drug testing institutes (posing as a student doing a paper on drugs) and other very reliable places.
Here are my findings:
Firstly the alcohol (EtG) test. To be classed an 'abusive' drinker you would need to be drinking 70+ units per week. The test looks at a month as an average so if you have heavy weekends but nothing to drink during the week the test would show your weekend drinking as an average of the whole week.
More importantly EtG washes out over time. That is why, unlike drugs, EtG can only be traced back 3 months (other drugs can go back years...however many years of hair growth you have).
Excess washing, even with normal shampoo will lessen the EtG in your hair. I'm thinking a 'toxin removing' shampoo will do it even faster.

More of a problem is the weed (THC) test. I have been told by two testing clinics (very helpfull to a dippy student they were) that the only thing that can lessen the THC levels in hair is damage to the cortex (middle bit) of the hair shaft. Normal shampoo does not even reach this part of the hair but bleach jobs, perm hair dyes, perms etc do! (Bit stupid of them to tell me that...)

One recommendation I have found on another forum was from a guy who was a daily smoker who found out he had a hair test 3 days before it was due to happen so he: Stopped smoking and bleached his hair and then dyed it back to brown every day before the test (so three times in total) He also used toxin wash shampoo each night. The guy said his head was really painful and had some scabs but passed his test! Not sure if you can put links on here but if you type '72 hours of hell' into google it's the 4th one down, read it for yourself.

I also found a really helpful website (again not sure if I can put a link but type in 'methods to beat a hair drug test' into google and it's the 4th down again)
This site tests several 'toxin clean' shampoos and home remedies. they don't seem to be trying to sell anything and their science is sound so I'm tempted to trust their results. The only product that 'cleaned' all their testers hair was TOXIN WASH. This product has a very strong (but safe) acid based wash so it does actually get into the hair's cortex.
Lots of other sites recommend this product too.
Also recommended is to use a coal tar shampoo a few times before toxin wash to open up the cuticles on the outside of the hair so the acid can get in and do it's stuff more easily. Neutrogena do a coal tar shampoo.

Some sites have also mentioned making a paste from baking soda and rubbing it into the hair before bleaching or using toxin wash. Not sure if this works like a bleach and damages the hair cortex or if it opens the hair cuticles ready for bleach and wash but if you type Jerry G Method in to google and hit the first site on the list he mentions it in his advice.

Everything else I've found on the subject covers what DOESN'T work (so don't waste your money)
Most of the other 'shampoos advertised like Clear choice, Zydot Ultra Clean, Ultra Cleanse don't actully clean the THC out of your hair they just covers over it to try and hide it. Thats why it says on all the sites that you have to use it a couple of hours before your test. This method used to work but now the hair drug test has got more advanced, they can wash off any covering agents before testing so stuff like that doesn't work any more.

Hope this has been helpfull.
Personally I'm gonna go for a couple of bleach and re-dye jobs at the hairdressers (maybe one every four days as I've got two weeks till my test) and also use the coal tar shampoo followed by the TOXIN WASH stuff.

I'll post on here to say if it works or not.

so i had a friend call into the place i am going to posing as a parent asking what kind of hair tests they do. they do a 7 panel hair test and a ETG. anyone know methods to beat the ETG. I know that false positives show up with cosmetics like deoderant, shampoos and food that have traces of alcohol show up in these tests. and there is nothing that can be done. FAEE disregards these little traces and is exact.

to the many people who have posted stuff on this thread. to pass a urine test is quite simple. need to stay clean for about 14 days to 6 weeks. depends on your body. some people pass some don't. other factors if someone is watching you piss into the cup. or if your in jail and you gotta do it. which u can just water it down and there is nothing that can be done. but you wouldn't be reading this so, if you were there. i pass piss tests staying three weeks drug free or two. knowing i have job interviews to stay clean.

as far as hair been reading a lot cause i got dealing with court and this 12 week thing i gotta attend. so staying drug clean has been easy. this or a month to three in jail. going on 2 & 1/2 months without smoking weed. got ten weeks to go til i can puff again. but again with the hair. your hair roughly grows 1/2 an inch a month. hair can show use of a drug with in a 3-5 day period of growth no matter what drug. you need roughly an 1.5 inches for drug testing in the hair. lucky for men your hair is usually shorter. if you in this situation i suggest before you go to a clinic or with probation officer, or for a job hair test. knowing going into it, get a hair cut.

i am in a situation with alcohol possibly testing for my hair. i don't know if this "clinic" does FAEE or ETG. anyone know that it's standard for them to do either? i know a FAEE is fairly expensive to do $400-500 a pop w/ out legal specimen results (add another $200). you need about 6cm or 2.3 inches to do this test. this test can't be fooled and will show the amounts of alcohol consumed the cut off per day is 7.5 drinks. two drinks a day or at a given time shows a non-drinker to moderate. above that 3 to 5 drinks shows you are a drinker. showing u have a problem or that will be assumed anyone doing this test. which isn't that hard if your at a party. the other test ETG is unreliable and is still used more commonly with clinics. both were roughly used worldwide in 2004. but ETG can show up false positives all the time in there, even when u don't drink. you need 1.5 inches or 3.8 cm of hair to do the ETG which is a 90 day window. can be fooled if u only have one or two drinks total a week. if u were drunk and got into an accident but fooled everyone else like the person who got hit or if u got hit. or a cop. if they really wanted to and u had a bad background around this type of thing that becomes public. this could disprove u or prove u were drunk or had alcohol in u. if u beat the breathlizer which is an easy thing to be while on the street if u are very close to being sober. i've beated that nearly 8 times. only before they did the soberity tests, and let me go on that circumstance. i am in this matter because of a dwi though.

as far as cleaning agents to all those people looking for a way to beat the hair test. you can use cleaning products. a shampoo that cleans your hair and a deep conditioner. you have to be using these products while u are using an illegal substance. and as your hair grows, at your head it weeds those toxins out. if u try n use those products after the fact like a month later. it they don't work. cause your "tree" like hair has already grown and the foundation of traces have already been built.

your hair on your head is used mainly because it's the most accurate. other hair is inaccurate but will show traces of drugs, what u eat and drink in a given period of time. your body hair usually shows from the last time it was cut or a year's time length it takes it to grow to full potential. bleaching your hair doesn't work. but it will delute the ETG test by 78% ONLY! and u will mosy likely pass if u are a heavy drinnker turned to a non-drinker / moderate.

my question to the people out there. how do u know what kind of alcohol hair test will a clinic will do? the standard is ETG, but i don't want to really ask them face to face about that cause then they'll know i relapsed of alcohol. which is a beer a week. instead of getting drunk usually a day a week. and a beer at dinner every once in awhile. but cause i am in this situation i am thinking about this all the time. most people drink n not get in trouble which is my issue. which isn't a problem if it shows up I just want to know to better prepare for the hair test in January altogether for everything so i can dust my hands of of this matter.

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a shampoo or something that would work on methadone? I have a prescription however, I am trying to get some more insurance and they do not insure anyone who has used methadone during the past year. I no longer use the methadone but it has only been a couple of weeks since I stopped and they do hair testing. Can anyone suggest anything? For months before I quit, I was only taking ma pill every other day or so.

Here's a thought....why not STOP doing all drugs and yes that includes good ole' mary jane (which is a drug) because you want something better for you and or your childrens' life! You don't have to worry about passing a drug test when you are clean. You are actually a good role model for your kids when you are clean and you are not in the legal system when you decide for yourself to live a decent drug free life. Your life will be 100% better when you decide to have goals instead of trying to self medicate with whatever is available-I know first hand and made the change. Use all of the energy in trying to find a quick fix solution to fake a drug test and put it into something creative and positive. Your kids will thank you for it-or your parents, etc.. Marijuana (and other drugs) will only get you shitty jobs or criminal offenses...plain and simple!

This message is for all you long-haired people out there.
I used the Macujo method (twice) and passed my hair test. This was a very intense lab test, which was sent away. I used the day before the test.
I also tried a product I got from a head shop (on a previous test) and failed. I researched this like a madwoman, because there is a lot at stake for me. I didn't find a posting from anyone (that passed) with long hair so thought it would be important that I send this post. As long as you follow the instructions, there is no reason why you should not pass. Good luck!

So i've smoked weed every day since 2003, minus a break here and there through out the timeline. I've never had to take a drug test until now. What's crazy I really don't even want the job, but recession times call for dramatic action. Now, this ignorant company requires that I pass a hair sample test prior to being hired. I knew a drug test would be required, so I've been prepping myself for a urine test to be shocked and find out that I have to take a hair test. Now after doing countless hours of online research, I find myself here. So far, the advice I've received was to wash my hair repeatedly with Selsen Blue hair shampoo. Now, has any one ever tried this? Does any one have any REAL advice, and not a plug for some detox website? If so, please share as I am quite desperate. Thank you!

Other details, I used to have super long "kinky" hair, and I cut it in July and it's now about 2 inches long. SInce then, I've smoked maybe a blunt/per day, maybe 2/day on weekends. I don't use other drugs and I don't drink often (I wish I did now tho instead of smoking lol). I am heavy set, so I'm sure thc is stuck good in my body so again. Oh, and i've been "sober" for 32 hours now. ok thanks again for any tips!

Friend had a test coming up and here's what he did.

He was not a heavy smoker - maybe three or four times a week up until about a month before the test and then a couple of times that week. He had no hair so they had to take his armpits.

He did the McCujo method three times before the test. That is Apple Cider vinegar for half hour to one hour. Then rinse and apply Clean and Clear (the pink kind you get at Walmart) - needs to have 2% acid. Do that for half hour to an hour. Then rinse and apply Tide detergent for half hour to an hour.

The second time you do this, it will burn like hell but it works. Suck it up.

After doing that, he purchased Hair Razor. It's expensive but what can he say, it worked. Applied this via directions about eight times - twice a day for four days. Or more. It's gonna burn too especially since the vinegar and acid has already done a number to the skin.

Then the night before he applied Stat! Hair Cleansing Kit an hour on the shampoo and an hour with the rinse. And then did the same thing in the morning of the test.

He was able to pass not only one but two tests within a week of one another and get the job.

This is no bullcrap and he doesn't work for either of these companies. He's just a satisfied customer.

So after reading these shitty reviews online for over a week now... it's my turn to give my story to this hair drug test drama. Everyone says that weight/height blah blah blah matters... so here's my deal. I am 23 yrs. old, 5'5", 130lbs. I've been a every day user since 2004... roughly. I managed to somehow stay clean for the past 6 weeks because I've been looking for a job, I live in Vegas and here most everyone does hair drug tests now. Anyway, to get to the point, tomorrow is my test. I've read unhelpful reviews about all kinds of products, finally settled for "Zydot" ultra clean cleansing shampoo. Local headshop said 1 packet for each 5 inches of hair, so since my hair is long I got 3 packets. My sister is a hairstylist, hooked it up with a shampoo called "Paul Mitchell" deep cleansing shampoo. Supposedly it cleans the hair from all kinds of impurities, and Zydot also recommends using a clearifying shampoo before their product. Anyway, sister told me to get hair wet, massage shampoo in hair, throw on a shower cap and leave it in a couple of hours the night before test (which is what I am doing now). Tomorrow I will wake up, wash hair with this cleansing shampoo again... give it an hour or so... then do the Zydot Ultra Clean system, and pray to god it fucking works! This job is thru my mom's hook up so if I fail not only do I have a bad record and I smoked myself out of a job, but I would not hear the end of it from my mother. So... I'll be ya'lls guinea pig, and unlike most people, get back to this site and report my results next week. I'm nervous as hell... Fuckin' keep your fingers crossed!!!

last smoked on may 18th. had hair test on july 13th. cut hair down to just over an inch and used max htr shampoo. scrubbed hair for five minutes rinsed and repeated. i found out today that i failed. try mac method posted in forum on marijuana.com trust the heads and not the companies. these guys get high and try to find ways to beat they system just because they believe in liberty...no to make a buck.

Ok yall i found out this morning that I passed my hair test. Ive been really nervous because custody of my one yr old son depended on me passing. So heres what I done. I bought 2 bottles of Omni Cleansing Shampoo from a local head shop, washed my hair in it twice a day for 5 days(using small amount instead of half the bottle-no conditioner or hair dryer)then the night before test I put an all over color(a light blond) then bleach highlighting kit(just to lighten my hair to usual bleach color that I keep it)then day of test I did the Macujo method once(which completely stripped my color and made me orange JUST A WARNING)then dyed my hair again and used Omni Shampoo as directed by instructions. Went and took the test and passed. Not sure if it was the dye, bleach, mac method or Omni but I passed. I get to keep my son!

Question....my son failed a drug screen at school for THC....admitted that he took one hit approximately 7-10 days before he was tested. However, he is now required to do a hair folicle...he keeps his buzzed for sports. Do you think one hit would show in a hair folicle test?

My husband has been sober for a long time and I got some killer nugs 2 weeks ago and he couldnt pass it up! He hit the bowl 3 times and was good. Today he got poped at work for a random, (which we planned for because we new he could pass a pee test by the next Monday) but it was not "here is your cup" it was a HAIR TEST! What the hell! Does anyone out there know if he is in the clear or completely srewed?

just got out the army on 24 Oct got tested on 22 Nov. smoked till about 1 week before the test did coke for a night 3 weeks before that did the toxin wash treatment for 4 days straight until the day of the test got a shaved head they took my hair from under my arms the dudes who tested me were psychemedics and passed.

PLEASE HELP. I almost NEVER smoke, but I decided to last Thurs. It's been 5 days since I touched anything. I have a test coming up (maybe in 2 days) for a great job. I know it's stored in fat cells, that's why I'm more concerned. I'm a big girl, 5'3" and about 235. My metabolism can't be that great. I excercise for at least 30 minutes every day. I would first like to say I do not work for the company I am about to talk about. Here is what I was up agianst and here is what I did to to pass my urine and hair test. This is not spam and people should have access to good info. I have to take a piss test once a week for Intensive Probation. The first month your on they give you to clean out so I started testing methods for passing a lab urine drug test. I paid for those strip drinks out of head shops followed the instructions to a TEE and failed a home drug test I got from walgreens. I am still smoking every other day. I take the quick tabs and take a test at home and fail agian. Finally I found this website that sold me a formula of things I could buy in my local grocery store. Did what they said and passed a home drug test. I was skeptical about this smoked a bunch more pot and tried agian and It worked. I mailed in a specimen to a lab and It WORKED. I have been to my probation for 15 weeks now and I have passed all the test that have come back no red flags no mention of dilution suspected or anything. I had to take a Saliva test also for a job found out these guys have a formula for that to and bought it. I came out great no problems passed great. Now that I have the formula for passing these test I feel great. If you are serious about passing a Drug Test check out these sites and agian I do not work for these guy but am a tried and proven satisfied client. 1) My Brother and his wife had their children taken away from them becausee someone called the police on them and told that they smoked weed. Both my brother and his wife did and still do smoke weed. Here is how I passed a hair test. I am sure it is different for every person and I figured I had about a 1% chance of passing...

I am 30yrs old, 230lbs, short (about 1/2 inch) brown hair, daily smoker.

- 19 hrs before stopped smoking
- 9hrs before rubbed in 1/2 cup 99% rub alcohol for 5-7 min
- 2hrs before mixed 1.5oz Vo5 (gold box) and 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide rubbed in twice 5 min each, rinsed with luke warm water
- 1hr before 1 cup vinegar for 5 min, rinsed luke warm water
- 20min before Omni Hair Cleanser, followed directions (with such short hair i got about 3 washes out of it instead of two)rubbbed VERY HARD for 12-15min each time with less than normal water, rinsed with luke warm water
- made sure to not sweat or pat down hair
- sample was taken from directly above left ear/sideburn...

It went to Psychmedics or whatever the place is called that it seems everyone sends the hair samples to...results came back within 24 hrs and recruiter called to say I passed!

Not sure if this will work for you or not, all I can do is pass along what worked for me, which was pretty much a combination of everything I have found online. It worked for me, and I hope you have the same luck, because I can only imagine what is on the line if they are doing a hair test (mine was simply a $13/hr job)...Good Luck!

OK, here it is! It's all BULLSHIT!
I Bleached my hair, dyed it brown, and then dyed it black.
I used Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo for 3 weeks prior!
On the day of the test, I used "GET CLEAN, Shampoo by Spectrum Labs, which was GUARANTEED to work.
I hadn't done anything but 1 hit of Ectasy a month ago, and I FUCKIN FAILED the hair test, and lost custody of my daughter. I tested positive for Cocaine, which must have been used as CUT in the hit of Ecstasy I took in Jamaica.
I'm convived, the only way to beat the test is not to use any drugs 3 months prior to taking the test! Life blows for me right now. Just shaved my head today, and will remain abstinebt for the next three months, maybe forever!
Alcohol is my new friend, and it's fuckin legal! Fuck all these bullshit GET CLEAN products! They're all bullshit!

don't be too nervouse, I just bought a bottle off the shelf at a beauty supply store 2 days ago, it had the old numbers you posted on it, I think that is a ploy to get you to pay double the usual price, the ingredients havent changed, also I have been told by other workers that used the rid that any clarifying shampoo works. Just keep using it, becuase it is a gradual cleans, and make sure you use it before you go for the test, you'll be ok. I know several hundred people that have used it and never had a problem with the test, I do not know one person that failed with it.

Thanks, occasional. One website says that there's a difference between "old" Rid and "new" Rid -- and of course because they sell it -- it's only the old one that works. I assume you all use the "new" one, one that you can get on the store shelves? Regardless, I'm going to use it every single day till the test and the day of, which is hopefully in 90 days.

I am a casino worker and we are always subject to hair tests. We ALL use aloe rid and we ALWAYS pass. I don't know if they test everyone or not but Aloe Rid is what evryone uses.

These results seem so variable! I'm one of the people who have smoked pot about 6 times in their life, but unfortunately, one of those times was about a week ago -- about 3 puffs on a joint. Applying for a (dream) job where a hair test is almost a certainty (given in September?). You can bet I won't touch the stuff again. I know this is small potatoes relative to heavier users out there, but what are the chances? Aloe Rid and maybe one of these shampoos? Do you get the results back on paper, or are they just discussed with you?

I'm afraid of taking it and failing. Is the test result really stapled to every job application?

hope this helps my fellow tokers out there: my hubbie and i are daily smokers, only smoke pot and have smoked for years (with breaks here and there). my husband found out he would have to take a hair test, stopped smoking on march 11, 2008. shaved his head on april 1, then waited and shaved again on may 1. waited for hair to grow out (took about 3 weeks) and went and took "practice test", failed! we couldnt believe it. so he searched online for days (as did i) trying to find anything to help him pass. finally bought the Two Steps Ahead shampoo, went and took another practice test, failed! trace amounts of thc. (and in order to get the 200% gurantee we had to send the upc back and mysteriously that was missing off the package). he had been clean now for over sixty days, we just couldnt believe it. now he had to take the real hair test within a week to get the dream job and we were desperate. (not to mention we had spent almost $500 on these freakin hair tests).

i spent an entire week researching anything and everything having to do with hair tests, reading and re reading blogs, posts, anything. i read this website that had reviewed all the shampoos, methods, etc to beat hair tests. we read that thc users had a good chance of passing with this stuff called toxin wash. we were so desperate we decided we had nothing to lose. so this is what he did:
first washed his hair six times with shampoo in shower
next washed hair with liquid dish soap
next rinsed hair with vinegar, let sit for 5 min
rinsed out vinegar, rinsed hair with baking soda and water
left baking soda in and applied first coat of toxin wash
left in for twenty minutes and rubbed hard!
rinsed with distilled water, applied second round of toxin wash
left in for 15 min and rinsed with distilled water
blew dry hair briefly (barely has any) and left for one more practice hair test (must mention he did this entire process the night before the test too)
held our breaths and waited, got results today, PASSED!!!!!!

now i must mention he has thick black hair, is five seven and weighs 188. and the lab that he tested with is Quest Diagnostics. I really hope this information helps smokers out there that are stressing about hair tests coming up, we have been stressing about this for almost three months now and i cannot believe he had to be clean for this long to pass. this was not an advertisement for anything, i just promised myself that no matter how this test came back, i would write our story so others know what we went through and maybe this will help you. so he did the entire process another two times and went and took the real thing today. hope the results are the same. i will let everyone know though. peace!

My question is "How long does marijuana stay in ones hair/ hair follicle"? and, if my employer takes sample from my underarm hair will it show up as a positive, since underarm hair grows slower than head hair? i finally beat the hair test AFTER 6 MONTHS OF LISTENING TO ALL OF THE BS ON THE NET AND trying everything from bleaching and dying my hair to buying almost any shampoo available on the net i found a REAL SOLUTION pay the tester off thats right the person admin the test is human too i took a sample of clean hair to the center where my test was performed i laid 5 hundos down and begged the guy to use the hair i brought it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yeah finally smoking again so grow some balls and spend a lil cash and you can do whatever the fuck you want in this country

GUYS AND GIRLS- i had a drug test for CBC high school in saint louis, MO a few weeks ago. I am 5 foot 9 inches, white, have brown hair, (one in and a half) and am athletic. I smoked nearly 10 times during my 90 day period, and i used omni hair shampoo and also for insurance i bought this other shampoo called freshair (i think its one word). anyway, it worked for me. i didnt do any macujo, so i dont know if that works. i used the omni and the freshair. !FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND RUB VERY HARD!!!!!!!

I will be getting a hair sample by a business which will send it to psychmedics in the next month, i haven't smoked for over 6 months, but everyday i am around it from my roommates who smoke 4-5 times a day. I bought Omni cleansing shampoo because it was all i found at head shops. Has anyone used this and had it work or have any advice?

Look, most hair tests now test for a thing called THC-COOH. This is an enzyme produced by your body when you "directly" inhale the smoke. This means no contact with any contaminants, just from the plant to the lungs. So this means you can no longer even say that it was second hand smoke. Most labs now and days also test for any detoxifications or anything that may cover up or get rid of the THC in your hair. So this means no detox or system cleaners will cause you to pass your hair tests. On top of all of this when people say things like "dude, just one time wont show up," they are full of it. The standard now and days is 0.3 pg/mg THC in your hair. Think about that, one gram(about the size of a new born mouse) cut into trillions. Take one of those trillion pieces and divide it up into thousands. That is an incredible small amount, but were not done yet. Only 0.3 of that trillion divided by thousand is needed to be in your hair to set it off. So no matter how much you smoke, unless you get really lucky, you will get caught by a hair test. While im at it, if you were wondering, THC is stored in your fatty cells and that is why it is in your body for such a long time, if you were wondering.

Check out Restore shampoo at http://www.discreetherbal.com They test at our company every 6 months. (some insurance thing, even the boss gets it.) But we all smoke regularly. 4 bottles are enough for 8 people so we just all chip in. No failures yet. Good Luck.

Does any one know if these detox shampoos would work better on gray or white hair. Are opiates harder to get rid of in the hair? What about short vs long hair. If I get asked for a hair test it will mean my freedom. Im going to start used the Paul Mitcheel 3, Nexxus Aloe Rid, Soak in vinegar, and bleach my hair. Im might cut it very short. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not sure whether or not htr shampoo has the same ingredients as toxin wash. However, if you check out htr's website it comes off as being somewhat similar to toxin wash with the active ingredients maintaining almost their original strength and like toxin wash it is not a masking shampoo. That's all the info I have, I have never tried either myself just wondering if anyone has had luck with htr or a similar product.

I used a similar product called Toxin Wash (http://toxinwash.com) - same bottle, same green solution/goo as htr. Its top three ingredients are Triethanolamine Sulfate, Lauramide DEA, and Tetrasodium EDTA...not sure if htr uses the same - maybe thadude1010 could tell us. I had to wash with vinegar and rinse using only distilled water before shampooing. I failed my test for coke but passed for weed - I went to Amsterdam in July, barely smoked after that, and got tested in November. They test for three months of use so I probably had the weed out of my system already. The results came after working for three days and then they let me go. My only worry is that I didn't use enough since it foams up really easily. I'm about to start another job (better offer and position) and not sure if they'll follicle test. If they do, I'll consider bleaching my hair and coloring it again. The metabolites from drug use actually become part of the hair structure, so no substance will actually remove them. Enough bleach could denature some of these substances, in effect rendering them undetectable to the tester and lowering the actual concentration...hence why your hair becomes brittle and colorless.

Too bad you guys don't live in canada. Here it's illigal to drug test unless your job is something that could become dangerous if you were under the influence at work. The reason is simple, drug addiction has been classified as a disease. You can't be fired for having a disease it's against the law.

I went back to the cosmotology school and had them fry my hair to WHITE and then dye it back but i was fired from work the next day. They never gave me a second chance to re-take the test, so i'm not sure if it would have worked or not. I know it was FRIED this time, last time they only dyed it to a weird yellow color because I think the girl was afraid it would all fall out. This whole thing totally ruined my life. If you work in an industry where they perform background checks and u failed a drug test, it will follow u forever. On some applications for jobs u apply to, they do a complete job history check so if you omit a job on your resume becuz u failed their drug test, the new company will know that u lied about it & they can fire you for omitting that info (or simply not hire you to begin with). I suggest: if u know its a hair test - DECLINE the job. I lost my unemployment benefits that i had remaining and I might even have to pay back up to 15 wks that i collected prior to the drug test back. I'm not sure about that though. This totally wrecked my life. I had 2 interviews last wk & both were through agencies that did employment checks & credit checks (which lists every employer you have) and the one place didn't call me back. The other said the company changed their mind (which is probably total b.s.) i signed a release so they prob. found out that i didn't pass the last drug test. I was .4 pg over the allowed limit. I smoked a TON too.. so I'm not sure if frying my hair helped but I think it might have because .4 doesnt' sound like a lot to me! The limit was 1 & my result was 1.4 so maybe it was a lot. I dont have any idea what those numbers mean. Can anybody provide feedback on that? is 1.4 on a hair test high? I'm wondering if the bleach helped to lower it SOME since I was a daily smoker? I've read online that dying hair to white does work if you aren't a regular smoker but it didn't work for me.

my job was engineering assistant at GM... I wish now I would have just declined the offer. You can bleach your hair and then dye it back to your normal color. It will dry the hell out of it, but I think it's your only chance. I don't believe that crap about shampoos. In addition to bleaching mine before my test, I used a dozen different shampoos with some of the same ingredients listed online. They weren't exactly the same thing, but same ingredients and didn't work. Good luck.

If in real need I used this site called hairtestingsolutions.com and passed with no problem they give you the products the formula and a counselor . Just for 28.95. I love these guys they back up there product. They also have one for saliva salivatestsolutions.com and one for urine urinetestsolutions.com . I am a satisfied client of the Hair program they sell if they are as good with it as the others then they have you covered

goldilocks - what kind of job are u going for? I have long dark hair. There is just NO way I can bleach it. Would look awful on me. I'm just not going to go for that job. Some people have said the shampoos worked and some say they haven't. Don't really know what to believe but i really don't want push my luck. There are plenty of jobs that require a hair test. testclear.com has a database that you can search to which companies do what kind of drug test. Good luck.

little1, you could try doing what I did. It didn't work for me but I'm convinced thats because they didn't remove the pigment in my hair. They didn't bleach my hair to white like they were supposed to and they used a color protectant. They only bleached mine to a strange yellow color. It will dry the hell out of your hair and then they need to add color back to it, but it might work. I don't believe the crap about shampoos working. It's inside your hair and you need to basically do cortex damage in order to get it out. Good luck.

took hair test in oct 30 anf failed with extreme level of marijuana had to test again jan 3 i passed with no level also i took one hit off bowl dec 17 i did this because all i have to do is have a lower level each time i test i was assumeing one hit would keep me at a lower level and actually i passed so i think weed doesnt stay in hair long iwas a everyday dank smoker till oct anyway thats my update only 5 more months till i get to smoke everyday again:}

Help...I was recently laid off and now I am looking for Phamaceutical Sales. I just got off the phone with a recruiter and she says I will need to take a hair test going back six months. I fear I am screwed because I've smoke about a handful of times in the past 6 months. No other drugs. Each time I smoked I took about 2 hits. Any ideas? I feel like it would be such a shame to not get my dream job because of few innocent lazy sundays!

wellllll.... I didn't pass. They asked me when the last time I smoked was and of course I denied it. I talked the recruiter into a re-test so I'm going to go to a different cosmotology school tonight and have them fry my hair again - but this time not put a protectant on it... and I'm gonna have them shave the short stuff on my neck that they probably will forget to bleach. Hopefully it will work this time. Im going to tell them that I want damage - I want them to fry it. They didn't fry it last time, I mean, they bleached it but I think that protectant they put on it somehow stopped the bleach from seeping into the cortex and I need it to penetrate the cortex. I hope this works. I dont know what else to do. I hear the shampoos don't work. I need damage. I'm not going to let the cosmotology school cut my hair after they damage it either. I'll get all the dead stuff cut off after the hair test. I will letcha know!

Well... I do have a prescription for Adipex (weight loss) and I just read that some truck driver was fired for results that tested positive for amphetamines so they *might* be calling to ask if I'm on any prescription drugs... Lab called twice and I need to call them back. I'm sure they aren't calling to tell me I passed. :-( My scalp was on fire! I was drugged once with GHB but that was like 2 years ago... How long can follicle tests go back? I rarely smoke anymore but on occasion i wack a joint or two thats going around.. Every few weeks or so. I drink a lot however, which is not illegal but doesn't look good either. And on occasion I take vicodin for my back which i do not have perscription for.

I may have a hair test for an upcoming job in 2-3 weeks. I've heard hair tests can trace up to one year back, and my hair has not been cut for 9-10 months. Is this true?

I paranoid as hell that I will have a hair test in about 30 days for a dream job. After searching for something that works it seems the only thing people with hair tests can hope for is bleach. I pulled this from the Psychemedics--the leader in hair testing--website:

Normal hair treatments such as bleaching, perming and dyeing generally will not significantly lower the quantitative results. If the protein matrix of the hair has been damaged to the point of breaking (cortex damage) the level of drug can be significantly affected.

It seems bleaching the hell out of your hair is the only solotion, other than abstaining of course.

I went for my hair test last Friday the 25th. I thought that she would take a huge lock since I have a ton of hair, but she ended up taking just a clipping from the back of my neck and another small clipping from a longer lock of hair - so I'm not sure yet. In hindsight, I wish I would have had the girls shave the back of my neck so that the person clipping my hair would have had to take from the long stuff that I know was bleached really well... but who knew? I'm not sure if the girls at the cosmotology school bleached the hair on my neck or not! My first day at work is tomorrow, January 2nd and they said at the clinic that it would take 3-4 days to get the results so with the holiday and everything, I should know by Friday if I passed or not. I will re-post when I find out for sure.

k boys n girls... I'm gonna try what dogma117 did cuz it worked for him. I went to the cosmotology school today and had them bleach the fcuk out of my hair... just got home and now i will soak it in vinegar for a half hour and then wash it 2 or 3 times with Nexxus and baking soda. Hair test is tomorrow. BTW, i'm a pretty regular smoker and have no other bad habits...and I have shoulder length dirty blonde hair. dogma117 said that he had dark hair and he used volume 40 for dark course hair and the girls at the salon used Volume 20 on mine because its pretty light. They also used somethign called a platinum card, not sure what that is. I told the girls my exact dillemma and they said they'd try their best to bleach it without damaging it and they did a great job I think. They added color back to it to make it look good. I will repost dogma117s exact instructions after this post if I pass. My test is tomorrow and I start my job on January 2nd. I imagine they will let me know by Friday January 4th if I didn't pass and they will kick me outtta there, so I will re-post either Fri or Monday or as soon as I hear either way. Wish me luck all!

oh by the way - for those of you who have pee tests - don't waste a penny on juices on the internet. You can circumvent your test by drinking a ton of cranberry juice. I've passed every pee test i've taken by not smoking for 2 or 3 days and drinking lots of water and lots of cranberry juice. It has worked THREE times for me. I don't know how to get around the hair thing though.. and I have LONG hair. I will bleach it or wreck it if I have to but I don't really want to cut it. Please help somebody!!!

Just a heads up to all of you with concerns about the hair test.The shampoos sold on the internet DO NOT WORK !There is no way to penitrate the cortex of the hair shaft with out damaging the hair strand.Maybe using beach & dyeing may work , I don't know.What I can tell you is I spent $140 on a 3 step process that "guaranteed" a negitive result . I followed the instuctions to to the T ....BULLSHIT. IT DIDN'T WORK ! The level was 6 times the cut off and I was just a weekend warrior. Needless to say I didn't get the job.So now I'm going to try abstinance .These hair test are patented and are very hard if not almost impposible to get around.There is a need to remedy this intrusion of privacy,I don't know what that is yet.What I can tell you is that it's not any of the products sold on the internet. They are SCAMS and the SCUMBAGS backing and selling these products they know nothing about should be prosicuted for fraud!!

The basic 5 panel hair test searches for cocaine, opiates, marijuana, meth and PCP. They can test for more, but usually don't.

There are two types of alcohol hair anaylsis. EtG and FAEE. EtG can only tell if you drank, FAEE can tell how much. If they are doing a test for alcohol, most likely they will do an EtG. FAEE is expensive, around $800 and only a couple labs in the US do this. Bleaching makes alcohol testing almost impossible though.

ok so I have a hair/urine test next week, my blood and urine are clean. i took a urine test and it came back negative. soooo i bought the Test'in shampoo just to make sure my hair is ok, has anyone had any success with this? i only smoke and i havn't done so since the end of october. I did a detox program which worked great, and have done nothing since. but now I'm just freakin out about the hair test. any advice or has anyone passed with the Test'in shampoo?

The hair is layered like a tree. Even though washing and bleaching may leach out the drugs on the exterior, the center of the hair will still contain the drug. Depending on how the hair is tested, washing the hair with a stripping shampoo (such as Head & Shoulders) might remove enough of the drug to give a negative result. Marijuana is the easiest drug to remove from hair. This will only work if the hair is tested directly. Most labs no longer do use this method. The common method used is mulching. To test hair, the sample is first washed to rid it of any product that may mask the results. The hair is then mulched and suspended in liguid. the liquid is tested for drugs. If there is a chance you might test positive, it is better to skip the test. If you are court ordered to submit to hair analysis, it would be wise to shave your ENTIRE body of all hair, but it is possible to be charge with contempt of court for destruction of evidence. In that case, it would be a matter of choosing the "lesser of two evils."

Shampoo for the hair testing does work,question is,How long does it remain in your system after you stop? I pretty much smoked everyday but decided it was time to look for work. I stopped for almost a month and applied for a job and was tested. I smoked about two joints about ten days before the test, got the shampoo,followed the instructions and passed.

Did you know if you do a whois (via whosi.net or instance) using passahairdrugtest.com and toxinwash.com you will find out that they are owned by the same people. So they have set up two sites to premote their product. The passahairdrugtest.com site trys be a unbiased site, but how can you be unbiased if you also sell toxin wash through your other site? It would make me concerned about their products.

Hey, from what I hear you guys are paying way too much for these products. My friend has recently taken a hair drug test to be an electrician and she passed. She went to GNC and bought the Thursday Plantation "Tea Tree Shampoo" and also the Thursday Plantation "Tea Tree Oil Therapy." She only smokes weed though. She said the lady from GNC told her to put a few drops of the oil therapy in the shampoo and use 3 hours before the test. It worked, real talk. All she spent was about $15.

I did the whole thing twice and I jsut took the test yesterday. The guy said he would available to call back with questions but when I called him to ask about bleaching once I did finished the vin/c&c/tide/nexxus he did not answer the phone or answer an email question. I believe he has posted on heree as Rasta....he indicated to me he was Rasta but I doubt that. He is probably just a two bit criminal. I will know the results by wednesday and post ...

I've experimented with cocaine, weed and EX within the last three months. Haven't done anything in a month. I recently got an offer for a great job and was given a hair and urine test. Passed urine test and get results for hair test tomorrow. I took toxin wash followed by Utra Clean. Upon reading all the other testimonials, it because clear that i won't pass. Not one person wrote that they passed...at least ones that didnt' obviously come from one of those blood sucking shampoo dealers. has anyone actually used and passed with omni shampoo? my bf hasnt smoked in months and has used omni quite frequently since he has been trying to get a job with a corporation that requires passing a hair follicle. he took it yesterday and we washed his hair 4 times that day before he left just to make sure. even on the last wash i made him put his clothes on-washed & rinsed-and let his hair air dry. someone give us some advice!!

All them hair shampoo stuff is BS. I brought 3 different kinds of shampoo's and still failed a hair test. I used them to the T on the Directions. Plus I didn't smoke for 11 days proir. I passed the pee test ! I used ZydotUltra clean, Ultra Klean- Ultra Cleanse 500% Guarantee MY ASS ! and used the Nexus shampoo . I think it knock the levels down but I still failed. they take the hair from the back of your head, it takes 24 hours for the results, you could use the headshop shampoo......but you could use Nexxus aloe rid (nexus now calls -'Kertain' (something like that) it is a swimmers clean shampoo.

If you don't believe me buy them and check the ingrediants.

If you use the shampoo now until then you should be ok.

your urine test was a false positive if you truely haven't done anything. being you passed the hair test you can ask the court or your lawyer to submit another urine test but you will have to pay for it. false positives are common, they just need to test again. don't sweat it.

listen up. Hair Mud from A&B Detox did not work for masking cocaine. I used a small amount of coke and had not used for 16 days prior to the test. I failed the test by a wide margin!! I also tested positive for E, even though I'd used it only twice in 6o days and the latest was 16 days prior to test. Very unimpressive.

I am not sure this works but here is the info. I would compare it to the aloe rid swimmers shampoo because hydrogen peroxide also opens up the hiar cuticle. The bleach then cleans the hair cuticle out.

Mix 1.5 ounces of VO5 shampoo with 1/2 teaspoon of clorox bleach & 1/2 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide.

Work 1/3 of mixture through hair and let it sit for 5 min.

Rinse and do this 2 to 3 more times. When you finish you will have shampooed your hair for 15 min.

Immediately apply conditioner for 5 minutes.

Rinse the conditioner and do this at least 3 times. The last time leave some of the conditioner in.

The bleach and peroxide will have completely cleaned your hair at this point. The conditioner willl corrupt the test and result in a negative drug hair test.

Go to www.rawmeat.com and type in drug test to find all the other at home products you can use to pass a drug test.

Good Luck! This will cost you $3.00 or less.

DEMAND your money back, and threaten him with posting his "solution" all over the internet. of course, the fool doesn't realize you can find it for free all over internet forums. i got my money back in 1 day by filing a dispute claim with paypal. however, i DID want to post an update as to my test results... i ordered the A&B Detox extreme hair cleansing kit with enhancer, shampoo, and splash. i also soaked my hair in vinegar the way it told me in the instructions. (notice to all the vain females out there, the stuff RUINS your hair. mine felt like broomstraw until i deep conditioned it twice.) i did not use any type of conditioner until after the test. I PASSED! surely it was the kit, but it might have been all my fervent prayers telling God that if he would only let me pass, i would never smoke the wonderful green herb he put on this earth to tempt me. either way people, it worked for me.

For anyone who has to take a hair follicle drug test, I would not recommend using Ultra Klean Ultra Cleanse shampoo. This product is backed by a 500% garuntee which makes it very convincing that you will pass your test. I WAS so convinced that just maybe I had a good chance of passing with a garuntee like that so I purchased 2 bottles, just to be on the safe side. I followed the directions as printed on the bottle and everything. I even washed my hair with the Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo weeks and weeks prior to my test. All that preparation and I still failed my test. I couldn't beleive it. All my money, time,studying, and worry wasted because I put faith in this product. I'm so mad right now, but I have no one to blame but myself. I should have used my common sense to know that if all you have to do to pass a hair follicle test is go on the net and buy a magic shampoo, hell everyone would pass.To anyone who has a test coming up, don't be fooled by these so called companies and thier garuntees. It's all B.S. to get your money. High Times even promotes this crap. Ultra Klean Ultra Cleanse claims to have to best product on the market, and just maybe the detox drinks work, but there's no getting around a hair follicle test. I have smoked for over 20 years and had been using an oz every two months when I lost my job. I went clean as I looked for new work and just about cried when I was offered an awesome job contingent on passing a hair test. I was clean for pot for 45 days and coke for 10 days when I had the test and passed with flying colors on their program. Can anyone answer me some quistions? First I must explain. about 2 weeks ago we had a drug bust at my place of employment. Someone left work and got pulled over and was search and the cops found him with Marijuana. When asked were he got it, to told them that he got it at work. So this person thinking they were trying to save their job, they were called into HR and quistioned and started giving out names of others in our plant that sold, bought or smoked dope. One by one HR called each of these people into take hair test. They are now at the end of that particular investigation but others are suspected. I smoked every day about 4-5 bowls with my roomate each night. Since this I have totally STOPPED smoking (weed) and drink water continuesly and drink vineger water twice each day. I now exercise regl. I think the company suspects me and is trying to be sneaky with me. I leave next Wednesday for Hawaii. I think they were planning on slapping me with a suprize random test on Tuesday the day before I leave and thinking i will fail their test and then fire me while Im on vacation. However Im trying to outsmart the company. I added two days to my vacation (monday-tuesday) and called off tommorrow and friday. Heres my quistion. When i return to work after my vacation, i will be 28 days clean. I have shaved my hair off almost bald and have shaved ALL body hair. They can now only take my pee. Look I was really freaked when my exwife had me take a hair test for custody. Ok I had a lot riding on this. My kid is everything to me. Well I looked and looked for help with passing. Just like BUSTED, I took a hair follicle test and used several different types of Shampoo. None of that stuff worked. I am potentially out of the job of a lifetime. If you want to do this corporate thing, leave the bud alone. If not, smoke away. I am officially done because this shit is not more important than the well-being of me and my family. FYI, I used Zydot Ultra Clean and Toxin Wash. They both suck!!! Don't waste your money. Just quit smoking.

i just found out that a hair follicle test taken from my probation officer on feb.07,07 , came back positive for methamphetamine. i haven't used any since oct. 2005. my boyfrind smokes it but not in the same room as me. could i be contaminated because he smokes in the house? i am ADHD and take dexedrine every day could this make me positive for meth. please help! i could be facing jail!!!

Man, I've tried 3 different types of shampoos that claimed to strip clean my hair from any drugs. The last time I did anything was about 3 weeks before I had to do a hair follical test. I washed my hair even in vinigar and I still failed my damn test! Don't listen to the people who sell these crappy products "they don't work"! I spent almost 200 bucks on shampoos and now I'm out a job and I might lose my home. These dealers are LIARS!!!

There is big confussion of ways to pass a hair test. I had a friend use this site called hairtestfriend.com. the formula they have worked great he came back clean and this guy does coke and weed both. I have to take a urine test once a month he told me about the same guys and they have a formula for beating a urine test I tried it and it worked drugtestfriend.com. Take it from a satisfied person there info works. They even have one for a saliva test at salivatestfriend.com . I dont work for these guys but I am an Ambassador of there service do your self a favor and check them out if your in a serious situation

Hello my fellow bud lovers!! Have I ever got one for you. The asshole company I work for is going from pre-employment piss tests to random hair folicle drug testing at the first of the year. Each month five people will be randomly picked and dragged out of their work area to a little room where they will be forced to sit quietly in a chair while some lab person proceeds to start snipping on their hair. Well my friends I don't know about you but not only do I love my bud but I also care about my hair and i'm not too crazy on the idea that this country has stooped so low that they have allowed our employers to violate us in this way. I'm so outraged and pissed that i'm ready to quit!!

i had my test today!!!!guess what, they test 120 strands of hair. they cut it very close to your scalp.thc stays in your blood strem for 90 days, regardless of how much you smoke.your blood feeds your hair , therefore putting the metabloites in your hair roots. depending on how fast your hair grows, will determine how much is in your system. shave all body hair.arms underarms, chest legs and pubs. bleech you hair , shave it off.

I used to work the casinos in Tahoe and have taken sevearl hair tests. Here are a few tips for people who must pass.
If you have to take a hair test QUIT ALL DRUGS immediately. drugs stay in the hair up to six months depending on how heavy your drugs use is.
shave all your hair--head, arms, underarms (don't worry about eyebrows), if possible. this gets rid of the most toxic hair.
shampoo is not a sure thing. some work, some don't. follow the instructions carefull and use the shampoo as much as possible. this might get you an "inconclusive" which means you have to retake the test but this gives you another shot--so don't use right after you take the test.
if you have a week before the test, shave your head and go on a juice fast. this means you drink only juice, water and herb tea. sounds hard? it's hard as hell but it cleans you out.
as far as the perms and bleachings, don't et on them. the chemicals are inside your hair and need a combatting chemical (the shampoo) to kill them.

I thought I would share what I have learned and hopefully help with some stress. Go to a beauty supply if you have access, a beauty shop if not. Purchase color stripper for your hair and Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo. The aloe rid removes buildup and opens the cuticle. Shampoo then do the stripper. You may want to strip a couple of times but it is hard on your hair.
Heat opens the cuticle layer (good)cold closes. Use warm water heat activated products and rinse well.

A hair color stripper used following should penetrate the shaft and the rinsing will remove residue. I would also use aloe rid for as many days prior to the test as possible.

Hair color coats, stripper removes. Hair bleach may work, it penetrates into the hair shaft and bleaches everything out.

A permanent wave may also work because the composition softens the cortex making it plyable. The 2nd part of the wave process recloses the cuticle layer again.

I also found a site that claims ethanol will break down THC metabolites, but surely we should not bathe in ethanol?

I was offered a position recently and have decided to turn it down even though I think I would pass using this process.

It is not my perfect job and I am not willing to take a chance.

I have read a tremendous amount on the internet about the subject, and frankly it sickens me that people have to go through so much stress to keep a job.

after lots of researching online i have found that drugs stay in your hair for up to 90 days after ingestion. after that they dissolve from the hair. heavier drugs other than pot are more likely to show. your hair grows about half an inch per month and after ingestion it shows in the hair 5 to 7 days after use.
hair tests are aimed more at regular users than occcasional users. so be clean for a month shave your body and take the test two months after. good luck!

I am 46 years old and have been smoking since the early 70's. The law says I am a criminal if I buy, sell, smoke or share. Hmmmmm,
I wonder if my three sons think of me that way? The youngest being 18. Naaaa, I no they don't, they keep me happy when in need. I will say one thing as a parent though. I never smoked with my kids until they were 18 (accountable for themselves).

I toked once in february, and one more time May 3. I have a Hair Test mid july. I shaved my head and body sometime mid may. Does the drug still attach itself to hair even though I haven't smoked since shaving my head. I should have enough hair on my head for them to test by mid July, it is growing fast. Anyway. All I can say is that fear BLOWS! The earlier comment: "no job is worth a hair test" may be right. I mean, if i test positive that goes into my record doesn't it? and any future background checks that might show up... right??

Hey folks I would just like to say that i tried the shampoo thing. I got the hair test for a position as a teller at a bank and i used that shampoo. THe direction told me it would last only up to 8 hours..so i washed my hair right b4 the test...and my hair was sent to ohio, (i'm in CT), for sure i thought i would faily 'cause the shit only lasts for 8 hrs. Well i am currently at the bank...so i guess i passed. The shampoo seems to work but only if u use it right b4 a test... hope that answeres some q's.

Anyone have results from the shampoos? I see a couple of people were going to try them but have seen nothing about results.

As a side note this is the classic battle: rich vs. poor, kings vs. peons, control and power. You think bush or any high level executive has to take a test?

Funny I see all these anti pot commercials. I don't see any about a meth/crack/heroin user who is in a trashed apartment with no power, no food, and 4 eviction notices on the door. Whats wrong with this damn country?

Reform starts buy ignoring laws designed to put people in prison for victomless crimes. They create criminals with-in their own community. The government feeds off of tax money generated by the prisons that hold them. The more these cases tie up the judicial system, the sillier it will sound to prosecute. help... taking drug test on the 16 feb and it is a hair test(uuhhgg!!!!). I dont know what to do. I have long azz locs and i am afraid that since i have been toking for so long that i am doomed.i am thinking of washing my locs w/ vinegar and baking soda which strips the hair of oils and residue. also dying my locs w/ henna.Does anyone know if this will work? Does anyone have any other suggestions????

PT, im sure you'll be fine 5 days is awhile and second hand smoke rarely gets you to levels high enough to fail. You'd have to be in a closet for like 5 hours with smokers to test positive.

hey,

I bought the hair detox from spectrum labs for like 30.00 but it says it doesn't guarentee it anymore. My hair test is tomorrow and thats the only thing I can use! I died my hair which I doubt will help, and I will use the spectrum hair detox stuff to, but what else can I do??

Drug tests blow, anyone can pass a urin test, bleach, water, b-12, kits, doesnt matter. not hard. legalizing it will blow unless you have a lot of older friends, cause it will actually be harder to get a hold of. the only good side is either if your older, or to get you from giong to the slammer. But na, if your stressed about a drug test, go light up and chill back. no job is worth a hair test. Toke away.

The system we have for the drug war is fucked. In the Tri cities area of VA. their moto. is, well pay the police salary through your taxes then do the police's job when you get busted. My child was removed by CPS for weed use. S.S. thinks that removing your children from you is fighting the drug war. This place is going to have LOTS of missplaced children. Thats all they will accomplish. And the give me piss tests. its like "Duh" do you really think I'm going to test positive when you have a knife to my childs throat? Fuck this.

we don't have these tests in australia, but I go through an oz a week...... I'd have no chance.... and I,m a locksmith w/ police checked security licence... I've never physically hurt anybody, stole nothing, never even fired a gun, and yet if this came in here I could be a criminal....

Im a hard working, tax paying father of 3. I choose to smoke and the government wants people like me in jail cuz they make more money off me that way. Our system is screwed. Pot is no worse than Tobbacco, its actually better for you. Go figure.

All I have to say is...

I have had pre-employment physicals (including urine test drug screening) in the last 5 jobs I've had (over a 17 year period), I've never "not smoked" and have always passed. My technique: drink water. Lots of water. Be ready to pee when you get there. Don't know why it's worked for me, but it has. The last one was an "instant" test: I peed in the bottle, took it to the tester, who tested it and said "It's negative...but I'm sure you knew that." What she didn't add is "...you long-haired bearded freak!"
