Busted Letter #108 – Follow Up

I am the person who wrote Busted Letter #103.

Well guess what… Last week the same DEA and Drug Task Force raided my house again, breaking my doors down (again) and tearing my house apart (again) while I was away from my home.

I was on my way home from my mother’s house when the sheriff pulled me over and said I needed to go home because they had a search warrant and were already there, in the process of searching/trashing my house.

They had a drug dog and 12 to 15 police officers and DEA agents searching for over three hours and did not find anything. I am currently waiting to get sentenced in Federal Court and they are pissed off because I am facing 15 to 21 months in prison instead of 10 to 20 years.

My attorney got the number of plants they claimed I had reduced from 250 to 63 by using a botany professor and claiming a plant is not a plant unless it has roots (only 63 had roots).

I have contacted the ACLU in New York but no one has got back to me yet. If anyone knows an attorney that could help me sue the police please let me know.

my friend told me If I got busted I would be on probation well he was right now I have to take a piss and saliva test. i just had the dea tear my house up too. i had 36 plants that just staterd blooming, 3 mothers, and 60 clones. they also found 16 stalks and root systems in my trash. that puts me over the 100 mark. the 60 clones did not have roots yet. i hope that works for you. let me know who you get for a lawyer.

Did you guys see that the judge in the Anna Nicole case was sited for smoking marijuana under a tree in a park? I thought that was interesting. A judge smoking marijuana in a state that doesn't have any pro-marijuana laws. Maybe this will change that.

river is from cali.I agree,well folks,ore is ok,kinda misty,pissy rain mixed with plenty of sunshine!,well have this weather for 3 more weeks as it becomes spring,hell it is,cause its not real cold,as a good fire in the morning and let it go out,same at nite. Gas is 2.70 to 2.81 a gall., lets see what else! have two females going,just found them tell there sex, plan to supercrop them,ie: put them in 5 gallon pots and just let them go,clone some branches from them,stick them up in the woods near water sources,hang a bar of soap near them,and dont go back until harvest! I enjoy a 50% success rate plus I never chase the bag but somtime there are shortages and I have to procure a ozer or two,hey dakine ,nc,whats you think they took us off the main page? we must be to contraversial or somthing,mabey hts thinks well all be busted,mabey they dont have any good letters,well,they have a hard time getting one from here in ore., its gettin easyer all the time,with these guys that walk around town with fake pot necklaces and stull.gosh,what a changing world im livin in,smkabol

Boy! You guys sure have been busy.
Well I am very sore today,I gave up smoking about 3 days ago.Walk yesterday 5 miles in one hour.
Hopefully I will be able to lose some weight.I have not had an appitite at all.As a matter of fact I am having to make myself eat.
I am currently over 200lbs on a 5'8 frame.And even though I am really big in my shoulders and chest ( Not fat)
My stomach area is the problem( which could be an early sign of diebetes)

Anyways,I am not permently quiting,just trying to get into shape.

Well the first two weeks will be the toughest for me.I will check in though from time to time.Let ya'll know how much I have lost.I generally lose real quick on a diet,but I also gain it back quick

I am still planning on writing a book and joining NORML.

I just going to stop for a while to lose some weight.I guess as we age our matabolism slows and we have to exercise alot more and cut our calories.

haha life on mars, sure i'd say its fair game that we aren't the only ones on this planet, you know.. anything is possible, people are just afraid of the "unknown" in general and usually form false hypothesis to alleviate them of the fear.

Anyhow.. Ottawa apparently does not participate in the International Marijuana March like Toronto does, my hope is to change this, with the Team that I am going to establish soon, one of the founding goals I have made for my non-profit organization im slowly forming is to include our capital in the march this year, from Parliament hill, all the way to the Prime Minister's front gate. Its only 3.4 km from parliament and would only take the average person 25-30 minutes realisitically.. so that is something I'm going to try and organize.

In my area im fortunate enough to have access to Liberal progressive (am) talk radio,which allso covers Air America programing - my favorite show to listen too is - The Stephanie Miller Show,among others....(actually i do not think The Stephanie Miller Show is part of Air America) but anyways.. They are a good listen.The Bill press Show is another good show.Ohhh and i can not leave out The Ed Shultz Show,or The Randi Rhodes Show.....All very excellent (am)talk shows.I believe each have their own web site and you can listen on-line....

Some guy killed a pizza shop worker shooting him 15 times in the back and then ran outside and executed two unarmed volunteer police officers who were like 19 and 20 something. So, I just finished making about 45 signs... Marijuana Awareness signs with highlighter around the border.. they will hit all areas of campus soon, Im going to go around posting them up to get my team established. Things are looking good. Going to ask permission to post them in the local headshops.. what do you guys think about my idea of this campaign, getting some students active and spreading the truth? That is pretty much what I'm trying to accomplish, is reach out to both marijuana users and non users and spread the Truth about it, and why its a safer and viable alternative to alcohol.. going to do some other work for a bit.

I have just created posters for a Marijuana Awareness campaign I'm going to start here in Ottawa.. I'm going to start posting around the university, to get the students interested or involved, or at least read it.. and have created a t-shirt design promoting to save the BC3, Marc, Michelle, and Greg. I'm getting excited about this. I love to stir things up, haha.. look out Mr. Harper, the revolution is on its way! ahaha.

so im on my break here, i re-read this article the busted follow up here 108 that we keep posting in. And it says that professor claims a plant is only a plant when it has roots. Which the number of plants he had been originally charged with (250) got reduced to 63 a significant decrease... if you watch that youtube segment i posted earlier, i forget, but think the 2nd segment is when the DEA agent tells 60minutes that the marijuana seeds are considered the same as marijuana itself and the plant. Well there must be some grey areas in there, because obviously a seed is not the same at all as a plant or the actual marijuana buds. In fact, I would suggest Emery get the same or a similar botany professor to refute that. You cannot get intoxicated from eating seeds or anything, nor can you smoke them, so I dont know how or why the American justice system claims it to be the same as marijuana or the plant itself, this is borderline ignorance, agree?

And that is all they have on him, Emery never sold Marijuana or plants to americans, he sold mail order seeds. The former RCMP laughs at the fact that the DEA considers Emery to be a "major drug trafficker" when he's not a major anything, ahahaha.

That's cool. We have an abundance of head shops for such a small state. We have six or seven in our state, which by the way is smaller than the entire city of El Paso. You can even buy pipes at some corner stores now. They aren't very durable but they work until you drop it. I like joints and blunts myself but the pipe I have is nice too. I could drop it on concrete and still have it so it's good for those of us with butter fingers. Back when I was younger and I would drive around and smoke I can't even begin to tell you how many pipes I left on my lap and then jumped out of my truck launching it onto the raod and into a thousand pieces. That always sucked. I need a vape soon, it's time I start thinking healthy you know. I'll be back........late

in my area we have 3 yes 3 different Hydro-shops.i very seldom have gone to them, they have been around for a while now,and a few other sources.i believe like 8 head shops ! no seed banks......darn....- you so lucky - The High Canadian.Allthouh i myself have the same quality in herb as you,i do believe,i see it all all the varietys of Beasters to the Headiest of Nugs in this area.so all the same.one day the peacefull and beautifull Cannabis Sativa plant will be free,and we all will be shareing the fruits..Peace~Mon.

The first hydroponic shop just opened up here and that was only because of the recently passed med laws. Yeah, I've never been to Europe but all of my buddies that went to Ireland, France, Italy, etc. all said that hash was much easier to find and that people rolled it with tobacco. YUCK! On the other hand, here in the states, hash is very hard to find. Speaking of mind numbing, when I was in college, once a season (4x a year) about fifteen of us would get together for a good old smoke out. We all hailed from either New York, Pennsylvania, or Mass, and we would break up into teams of five and chip in for a quap. The last team standing got to smoke for free. I'm proud to say that me and my pals from Mass cleaned up three years out of five. Yes, I was on the five year program!

Hey wh, I just opened an invite to my ex-girls' wedding so it looks like I'll be in Bend in the middle of June. I'm really pumped cause I haven't been back to Oregon in about four years. I can't wait for that first breath of fresh mountain air. I think that is one of my favorite memories. The first time I arrived in Redmond I was only 18 and got off of the puddle jumper I took from Seattle, the view, the smell , everything about it, I loved it. I always fly into Redmond but I think it will be Portland this time (way cheaper). I'm sure the air will still taste great though. If I make it to Eugene I'll give you a shout. You seem to be the cautious type though so if I get to Eugene I'll bring the joints and meet you at Doc's! late

yea eh.. well it seems that exported Canadian weed can really determine a price on its own, unless the buyer really knows what's BC hydro and whats not, one could easily label it that way and tag the hydro price to it solely because it comes from Canada.. blame organized crime for that, because im pretty sure they are the ones taking advantage of it. but either way here a 1/8 is 25, some places cheaper .. like 25 bucks for some good nugs. But ya if your a big consumer you're much better off growing your own small op with like 3-4 crops a year, that would be in your best interest if you like to smoke lots, otherwise your footin the bill for nothing.

Since I can remember prices have been between 40-70 an eighth. More for better quality. That was about right for everywhere that I have lived, New England, Oregon, Texas. Right now, in Providence, a zip would run you about 275-300 for pretty decent beasters or your run of the mill kind. When we get name brand the price unfortunately skyrockets to 500+. Knowing that the prices outside of the U.S. are so much lower is kind of depressing. I guess we really are greedy; if anything it is probably cheaper to produce here than somewhere else. I think the real issue is that peoples feelings on risk and profit outweigh their feelings of brotherhood and sharing the wealth. Well I hope you are all having a good day. Four days smokeless and not by choice. I'm getting frustrated. Hopefuly today.

if you watch those, take a look at the dea agent, he's clearly a tool, and looks like a fool on camera, he makes it out to be almost personal with him and Emery, to Canadians, Emery is harmless, and the RCMP officer laughs at the DEA because they regard Emery as a drug trafficker when he simply sold seeds, not actual drugs, because seeds have no thc content, or do they? maybe someone here can verify that, but i doubt the seed itself has thc content in it. I'm just adding, after watching that documentary, I have a pretty good idea of what the medical marijuana situation is like in the united states.. its a shame, because in Canada medical marijuana patients do not have their doors kicked in by feds or DEA for the most part.. but the canadian medical marijuana program in canada has problems of its own, such as those who cannot grow their own receive the marijuana processed at low grade or quality that really isn't what it could be.. but anyhow, this is a very well documented video.

It will be either a book or possiably a documentory like the Micheal Moore films.
I have been contiplating this ideal for some time now.
I have told some smokers along with non-smokers of the ideal and alot have mixed emotions,some say I will be killed and others say I should do it ( that it may be my calling in life)

So yes,I could just see myself in one of those info commercials on tv,stressing to people that they must read the book to see first hand the truth about pot our goverenment and politics.Or opening at the box office and making BANK.

I sure could use some $$$$$$$$.Making bank could help.

I think you should write the book XXX. Telling alot of people would definately be a safety net of sorts. Nor-Cal, I smoke with my dad (after I turned 20 or so) all the time so I can agree with you. He was open about smoking as I grew up and he was adamant about being older and more responsible before letting me smoke. I do think your situation is a little different though because you said that you have a medical licsence. I think that your kids have a unique view on the situation, a good one. Oh, and wh, that kid may say he loves her but that doesn't change the age difference, or the maturity difference. Plain and simple he is exploiting a much younger and inexperienced girl. my opinion, is that the illegal trade of marijuana has such high profit and the government is corrupt to the level that people are paying for it not to be legalized because they are making big papers from the illegal trade.. thats my theory and maybe others feel the same way.. its a big group of people, and were not part of it. If you ever listened to George Carlin before his "Life Is Worth Losing" album thing.. listen to the "Dumb Americans" part, its 10 mins long, but near the end he talks about this theory of this group called the "owners" basically the people who are so high up that control the media and shit and people who own the big business interests "own" us the workers or the average citizens ... it is very interesting and i reccomend you download that segment or buy the cd to listen to it, not to mention the rest of that cd is really amusing.. good driving material haha..

also, make sure friends and family know what you are up to, so if they decide to put a cap on your book and your life, it will not go unmentioned.. they might be able to get away with one death, but a whole family? i dont think so. Rock it out and keep us posted on your decision

XXX --> its a wicked idea to write a book about it, I'm not sure if there are some already out there or not from other activists, but nonetheless a great idea.. i recently today submitted a research essay to the the OttawaSun Editors here because there was a recent bust here just east of ottawa, estimated street value of 3mill, and the plants weren't even ready yet, about 4 hundred thousand in lighting and other stuff, however to note all the people arrested had asian heritage, as their last names indicated this. But anyway, i decided to submit a few things, im going to make an effort to get in contact with some people here and join Canada's NORML branch.. as for safety of yourself.. maybe some alarm systems, 24 hour protection service and a couple hounds or dobermans might do the trick.. writing a book could take you a while and usually does, but that doesn't mean You can't do it..

Cause I believe Marijauna,to be a natural medichine.

The reasons the goverenment has suppressesd marijauna is complex and could be larger than we ever imagined.

It could be that the FDA and pharmacutical companies could also be behind keeping MM from total legality.

Anyway,what I wanted to tell you guys is that,I actually have gave some thaught to writing a book ( similar to Kevin's book) to exspose this so called drug war and all the bad and corruption it causes.

My wife says,That I wouls probably be KILLED if I wrote a book exsposing the goverenments war on drugs.
My book would be a MUST READ for drug users and non-drug users.

It's the people who are NOT stoners that we need to educate and then they will not be able to keep it illegal.

see, thats responsible parenting.. I like it.. only if my parents were open to the idea.. they dont smoke pot, my dad likes to drink from time to time, and he smokes ciggarettes.. being in the military does not really give much room for someone to be smoking pot.. and a bit of a conservative he is.. which makes me the only liberal i guess, or free spirit. I would love for that day that i can sit down and smoke a joint openly or with pa or something.. it would take a huge load off me.. relaxing and all that good stuff.. but im forced to smoke by myself pretty much in secrecy i guess, he knows i smoke or have smoked.. i still do and usually i just puff one hit wonders and blow it out the window and its all good in my room at night, night caps.. you all know how that goes.. i dont know how to open them up to it, so i dont even bother smoking openly around them, i think i'll wait until he decides to go have some beers haha so he'll be relaxed already, i dont need negative confrontation about something that i already enjoy and will continue to do so whether he likes it or not, and its not even about me being a rebel or anything because we get along good. But anyway, im getting more involved over here, trying to get some activist stuff stirred up, maybe i can change his way of thinking the more involved i get and educate his derier on it some more, because he's a 60's baby with an outdated mindset.

Well, my parents smoked openly my entire life but, made it very clear that my brother and I were not to smoke pot or anything else for that matter until we were old enough to be responsible for the consequences on our own. I did smoke for the first time when I was 16 but it was an isolated incident. I had a boyfriend (my own age) that smoked regularly and with his parents. I started smoking regularly after I turned 18 and before I graduated H.S. It wasn't until I was into my early to mid 20's that I started smoking with my parents. I know some people look down on that but in my family marijuana isn't considered a drug so it isn't like they were doing drugs with there kids. I am open with my kids about marijuana but, I tell them that you have to be a certain age (18) to make that decision, just like cigarettes or alcohol.

That being said, how is everone today? I think the real issue there was not the pot, but the age difference. I do agree with the idea of being of age and old enough to comprehend consequences prior to toking. I was a senior in high school when I toked up for the first time. I was with my girlfriend at the time, who was my age (haha), and I remember it being a great time. I only puffed a few times then and I really didn't start full time until college. Not that I wanted smoke alot, but my conditions were similar to the Hi-C. I wasn't really free until I was 18. Anyways, I'm on the hunt so I'll be back later. Two days smokeless and I swear my head is cloudier now than when............late

True that Nor Cal ... in fact my first toke was when I was 17.. it was hash, my first experience, I never had smoked before, and I didn't touch pot until I was 18. But that was becuase of the conditions and the environment I was in, being at boarding school, and on a military base school before that.. I always wonder what I would be like if I didn't take that first hoot, you know the first time when you hear the birds talking and stuff ? hahaha... the first high for me when I smoked real bud was really euphoric and relaxing, and the environment I was in was really peaceful and the people were my friends, so you know it made for a nice first experience opposed to some who may have had their first experience on a street corner or whatever.. i say if you're going to do anything, do it good and do it right the first time. And Nor Cal is right though. I don't want to preach but just know when its time to settle down and work, but don't forget to put some time aside to play either. Moderation and balance

Charlie & Valerie, To Charlie: Your lady is too young to be smoking marijuana, she should be going to high school. I think it is great that people want to support the legalization of marijuana but the fact of the matter is that most responsible smokers and adults wouldn't want their kids smoking until the were of age and old enough to make responsible decisions and be accountable for their actions. And just for your information, I know age is only a number but, as you probably know the changes you go through from the age of 15 to age 19 are tremendous and chances are that the person you were when you were 15 is not the person you are now.

I have multiple essays that over the years I have written about marijuana, and a recent one, being the most up to date and strongest I felt. I have just submitted it to my "letter to the editor" with a quick follow up on that new News tab in the UK about their Homegrown and how crime gangs are spraying their plants with microscopic glass.. This same trend could be happening in North America which raises a public health issue. These kinds of things can be avoided if we stand up and take action.

you know, i was doing some thinking... and in countries like Canada and the United States that have regulations for marijuana as a viable option for medication (in some states) how come we never see commercials advertising for them? its easy to answer, but why hasn't anyone stepped up to make a commercial.. we really need to step up the marijuana awareness and activism if we want to get anything done, or else we'll still be considered as outlaws.. the Truths of marijuana have yet to be made availble to the public, its like they are hiding it from everyone.. i sure as hell would love to see a commercial advertising prescription marijuana for those who could be treated for it. haha... i find that if i smoke after a meal, like say 10 or 15 minutes, you know i don't get them as easily, that is if you are already full. Just drink water I guess, or eat healthy, when I munch out I always end up eating like vegetable thins (those crackers) or like some really good melon or something, melon is good because its pretty much all water.. but see if smoking after you've eaten does anything.. i know i hate getting those urges, sometimes i feel like im spending more money on munchies than i do on my actual dope. haha..

I workout in the gym, and im sure there are others here like me, but after a good workout or the next day my muscles are pretty sore, im wondering if i can get a license to use marijuana to ease the muscle pain and to stimulate my appetite to increase my gains, i wonder if that could be done here in Canada... but im not sure because the muscle pain experienced is self-inflicted from working out.. however, i'd much rather use a natural product like that than take tylenol or advil. hmm .. what do you guys think about this, maybe i should talk to a medical practioner about it.

well indica does not make me lazy or couchlock, in fact whenever im smoking im usually out doing something.. but when its time to come down, its not uncommon for me to start yawning a bit here and there, i feel really good after a nice burn of indica, nice and relaxed but i find that if i take a small 30 min nap after the high has gone it rids me of the fatigueness i get after the high. but no doubt i enjoy both, i've had some really delicious indica strains, and some wicked sativas, if you ever get a chance to try grape fruit, definitely do so, it is a nice tropical high, and the taste and smell is really nice and sweet&fruity. =)

I try not to get to much sativa in my strains, in fact my hobby strain is pure indica, why? it never makes me sleepy or lazy, that is how I react to any sativas, of coures I will smoke it, but like to get indica or mostly indica,hash plant is a pain in the ass to grow, I had it going good for two years, but have switched to a 63 day plant., docter atomic afghan + dutch passion mazar of course ive had a little problems with bud mold in the 9th week but I like to let them go that extra week,I shouldnt I guess.

well actually there is a local favourite strain in montreal.. i get it a lot in ottawa.. it is called "m-39" and it stands for Montreal-39 , the 39 is 39 days to flower. =) its a good medication if you need pain relief, a nice body stone, though having smoked it so much i have somewhat built a tolerance to it, and i prefer sativas anyway, but its a nice smoke to just chill out to nonetheless!

First Of All, The Strain RUDERALLIS Is A Russian/ U.S.S.R. Strain,Theres Nothing Special About That Strain Except That Is Tends To Become Purple,I Grew Some Back In The Early 90's And Was Not Impressed, I Have No Clue What Crosses Are In This Year Round Strain???? And Since It Was Bread In Mexico And They Have Not Been Known For There Breeding Your Guess Is As Good As Mine. While We Were Down There We Did Smoke Alot Of It And It Was Pretty Good But I Dont Think They Take Much Pride In There Drying Methods And Most Of There Crops Are Sun Dryed And Thats All Kinds Of Wrong Ya-Know.Anyways I Have A Few More Storys From My Trip But I Have 2 Go For Now,Be Back Later Tonight,Cough,Cough,COugh.

Hey Nor-Cal, it's me, wh, XXX, river. As for your question High Canadian, I'm not sure. I haven't done extensive research on it. I was thinking more along the lines of a ruderallis cross of some sort. I don't know too much about cross breeding but maybe it is possible to get the 'year round' qualities of a ruderallis strain and the good stone of a sativa/indica strain. I'm sure that I am probably wrong on the whole ruderallis thing but it was just a brain fart and I'm pleasantly small right now so i'm rambling on...and..on....and.....on....zzzzzzz. Hey it's me, is the year round strain a ruderallis strain (I think that is the right spelling)? From the reading that I have done I think that ruderallis strains are all auto-flowering, like lowrider. You said that the ones you saw grew up to four feet or more though so it must be a vigorous strain. Well you missed some real dumb asses on here in the last month that you have been gone. We could have used your opinions! I'm sure that there is no shortage of dumb asses though so you'll be screaming soon enough. Well Folks I Am Back From My Southern Trip,And I Have GREAT News,I Have Found The Year-Round Strain.We Went To Puerto Vallarta ( since that is where my old man always said That is where the BEST mexican smoke is grown,and he was a pilot back in the 70's if ya know what i mean)Anyways We/Me And My Wife Where There For About 10 Days Before We Were Able To Someone That Was Willing To Show Us A Farm.My Wife Speaks Spanish So She Did Most Of The Talking For Me, After We Met With The Grower I Was Amazed At What I Seen,The Farm Must Have Been 5 Square Miles Or So(very big).We Were Shown Plants That Were Harvested In Late Dec. And They Were Already 3-4 Ft. And Were In Full Bloom. He Said That They Wil Produce 3-4 Times A Year.He Also Said That The Plants Will Veg For 30-40 Days And Will Then Start To Bud And Will Finish In 40-45 Days No Matter What Time Of Year,So This Strain Does Not Need The 12/12 To Flower.We Brought Back About a 1/2 Lb Of Seeds,All It Took Was 2 Big Cold Sodas And A Couple OF Zips Locks And We Just Drove Into San Diego.I Will Be Sending These Seeds To--Grass Vally,Willis,Mendo,And Down To Fresno This Year.Glad To See Some Of The Same Names Here-Nor-Cal,River Runner,wh xxx,Sorry If I Am Forgeting A Few.Will Be Back Here Later Tonight...Cough,Cough,Cough,Cough

Has anybody else read the storie about John Popper, from the Blues Travelers? He was arrested yesterday, in Washington State, when the car he owns and was a passenger in was clocked doing 111 mph. When they pulled him over the searched the vehicle and found hidden compartments containing 4 rifles, 9 hand guns and a switch blade knife and a "little marijuana". Guess what he is being charged with? Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphenalia. Can you believe that shit? UNBELIEVABLE.

Hello all. Hey river runner I would be hard pressed to believe that Bush, as stupid and inept as he is, would ever pardon Libby. That would do nothing except to implicate him and others as being symathetic or even........involved! We all know that we can't have that. If Libby was to be pardoned I believe that it would be at the end of Bush's term, perhaps in the last few days, just like what Clinton(and many others before him) did at the end of his presidency. I am not sure, but I think that once a Presidential pardon is granted it cannot be overturned, nor can it be challenged, especially if that man no longer holds office. WH man, you are so right about the dreams... i myself am on a nice break, because well I need to put money aside for other things and well its nice to clear your lungs once in a bit, but man whenever im on a break or something it seems like after a couple days in i always get the most fucked up dreams... lately the theme here over two months has been like violence and me witnessing shootings... its not that great lol... i dont know, about a month ago i had one of these dreams, and 2 mornings ago i woke up and remembered my dream and it was another shooting one, however i never manage to get shot in any of these dreams, i simply "witness" them and its pretty fucked up.

Both Sadhu and Hashberry look very appealing to me. I tend to enjoy indicas more than sativas......although a great sativa is hard to pass up. I had no idea about the pricing on that volcano vaporizer, that's borderline outrageous. Is it really worth that sort of coin? First, I want to apologize to River Runner, I didn't mean for it to appear as you were from Cali. and it does appear that way. I didn't think you were, just it's me. So sorry about that.

And secondly about the teens who forced those toddlers to smoke, the media waits for stories like this so they can blow them up and make even bigger stories. Those kids don't represent responsible smokers.

And lastly, to The High Canadian, I have a medical lisence here for California. I am able to grow up to 20 mature plants and hold up to 3 lbs. of dried, clean pot. A lot of people in California have lisences and a lot just say they do, but, I do. What a blessing.

What's up everyone. I was just wondering about the Mandala strains because I had been doing some reading about them and they seem to be well rounded. I have never seen them so I can't draw the ultimate conclusion...... To who ever is moving to Oregon, I used to live in Bend. I was there in 98/99 and the town was growing quick, but in a good way. I did alot of travelling and there are some relly nice places to live in that state. Almost too many. I don't know how old you are, but if you are younger, Eugene offers a great college atmosphere while retaining the good qualities that usually fade in that sort of environment. Astoria is a beautiful city on the coast. Or, if you prefer a big city, Portland is very nice also. What I'm trying to say is that anywhere you move in that state, you will be pleased. Oh, and the pot is top shelf. I'm jealous. late

Many cultures/religions outside of the U.S. support the smoking of cannabis as a way of life and enlightenment. No, I do not condone giving weed/alcohol to an unsuspecting child, but our top notch media outlet makes the issue worse. What does plastering this story all over national news accomplish? oh i forgot, are there any med users here? like with the actual licensee? I'm thinking about applying for one to be exempt from the government, Canada has policy for doctors notes and some other wishy washy stuff I started looking into, so i might get a possession license someday in the future.

People can get them in canada for "chronic pain" and "stress" or "back pain" which are pretty vague diagnosis if you ask me hahaha.. so I'm looking into this, because already University of Toronto has like 2 or 3 profs that can smoke on campus in this cellar area in one of the basement offices or something... so what does that say?

the mountainous regions of the world are beautiful, I miss BC.. Ontario is just another fucking joke.. and it sucks, Toronto and Montreal, is all the east coast has really.. because Ottawa is completely shit from what I think... from my perspective because I was in Italy for 4 years... coming back here, with the shitty weather, ottawa is the dump of Canada. Victoria should be the capital if anything, much more beautiful there, and cleaner, and not so congested with snobbs and no gooders.

River, i have to agree with you about the dog thing, however funny it would be, that dog wouldn't live for very long. Personally, I'd have my house equipped with surveilence if i had it my way, so i could see if someone was setting up to rush me. But really, I think the key is to do small crops because they will not attract much attention, numerous small crops and maybe some guerilla farming would be your best bet, that way you get the best of both, outdoor with an earthy natural taste, and well indoor that blows your mind. haha.

Okay, cool, because I have about 10 seeds from this pollinated BC hydro i had from a friend, and they are good looking seeds with nice solid brown coatings, so I might as well give it a go.

I'm setting up a closet op for the earliest stages of the plants life cycle and then transplanting it or them outside where mother nature will finish the deed. However there is still much snow here haha, so it will be a couple of weeks before I get anything in the ground, I'm hoping to have my seeds germinated in the next 2 weeks and the weather by then should calm down in time for the transplanting in early - mid april.

i have a question about outdoor harvesting... hypothetically speaking say i plant 4 seeds, 2 turn out to be male plants and 2 turn out to be female... now its almost time to harvest and the plants are flowering, i read a lot of places say to toss the male plants out before they pollinate your sinsemilla, my question is, are the MALE plants any good, could you make hashish out of the pollen? since im guessing that the males probably don't produce any amount of bud.. can someone clarify this for me? much appreciated.

Right on... I just found out the news myself that Montreal (which is close to where I am) hosts an annual cannabis cup there, around the 10th of November each year... However there are still some details I have not figured out.. (working on finding more info, tons here on the web obviously) have any of you been to the Cup in Amsterdam? I'm going to go this year and getting my judge's pass soon.

I failed my hair follicle test recently. I used STAT and the rinse posted by your drug test friend. Now I know what i have done and haven't, and know that the products worked to some degree. I tested negitive for THC (guilty), PCP (not guilty), opiates (guilty) benzo's (guilty) and positive for the cain (guilty 6 times in the last 90 days) and E (guilty twice in the last 90 days). I also washed my body hair, which shows usage for up to a year. This came back negitive across the board except for E.
Now heres the catch my head hair showed levels of "consistant use" per the lab, and my body hair showed levels of no use. WTF????? any lab techs out there know how that works.
So now I'm testing all the products that you can get online to see if I can "beat the test".
If you are subject to the test and have dark hair make sure keep the product on for twice as long as the directions say. Use Black Tea rinse's (32 bags of black tea per gallon of boiled H2O left to sit for 1 hr. then massage leave of for 30 min. wash with palmolive soap then alo clear soap-- twice a day for as many days as you have prior to the test)Apple cider vinegar and clean and clear until it burns rinsed with tide. The product of your choice-- Use their directions--i'll keep posting to let you know what works and what don't

It's not a problem for me at all, and it makes the job more entertaining and pass the time, because if you have ever had a job like the ones i've mentioned I'm sure you were glued to the clock.. So thats that.

Personally everyone is different, and people fail to realize that, Mr. Clean has failed to do that, take into account other things, with his generalization he has put here, I'm not making a personal attack, I'd like you to see my light on the topic, and others like you, because your way of thinking is not in the best interest of majority.

However, no I do not condone smoking marijuana or taking other substances that alter or impair your motor skills while driving, have I done so? no, but i've gotten in a car where the drivers have either been under the influence drugs, but that was MY choice. And many sensible people know their limits to what they can and cannot do in terms of using marijuana.

Okay, so I'm going to finish reading the thread, I hope whoever wrote that busted letter gets off the hook, because if you can be an alcoholic or whatever and do cocaine and have a C level education or whatever Mr. Bush has, then really how is smoking or growing marijuana for personal use any wrong doing?

ok.. so this thread is huge.. haha and don't usually post on HT but it seems like there are relatively mature minds in this thread.. I read Mr. Clean's response.. and I'm not blasting at him, but if you go on vacation what are you there for? You are there to relax, right? well thats what I do on my vacations, whatever you do on yours is your own business, but most people like to relax unwind, have some beer or champagne or wine or get wild and hit up some really bender drinks and party.. to each his own.

So your point of smoking while vacationing or not smoking a doob throughout an entire vacation is absurd, because for most mature smokers its like sitting down enjoying a nice glass of wine, it can be done on your own, or you can sit with a bunch of your favourite people you like talking and being with, aka. friends {or family, I have friends out on the west coast that openly smoke joints and bongs with their parents/guardians , why? because they know the truth and would rather know their kid is smoking pot versus mainlining meth in their arms or something , and share a couple joints with them and you know shoot the shit, relax, do your thing and enjoy your vacation.

What I got from you is that someone who can't go on vacation without indulging in drugs (this includes alcohol because it is just as much as a drug as marijuana) then you have a problem?

Someone please tell me how that might be? I can't seem to shed light on that. As for smoking on the job? Well I'll admit, I'm 19 years old, have worked numerous jobs, some boring, some really entertaining, some boring jobs for me have been demolitions for a company preparing floors with a buffer for tile and so forth, jobs that are very repetitive and boring where the work is dull (assembly line is a good example) i've smoked pot on the job at lunch and have gone back and performed with adequate strength i would have sober, how is that a problem?

Well nor-cal that is true ,but make sure the fevers don't get to high.
Severly high fevers can cause brain damage and fevers are normaly a sign of infection or virus( such as the flu)

102 to be honest I would have been in the doctors office and not chanced it.

Fevers can't be played around with and to air on the side of caution is the best.

Building immunity is probably our best bet...

You know if you use to much antibacterial stuff it can actuly make your immune system more suceptiable to catching colds and flus.

High fevers always need lots and lots of fluids.

But again 102 or above I would see the doctor to air on the side of caution.

Thank you so much for the information, I am going to check it out. My daughter got sick this week and had a temp. of about 102* and thank goodness we have a great dr. because the only reason I took her in was to make sure she didn't have a chest or ear infection. Thankfully he said "no, she only has the flu. She has a fever for a reason, let her sweat it out." I was so greatful that he didn't think I was a horrible mother because I didn't run to the nearest drug store to fix her.

I should also say,when following a recipe off of earth clinic,it is very important to follow the direction,such as boiling the water to sterilize it.

Earthclinic is the site that does not sell the products,but rather lets people post testimonials.

Hey nor-cal.You can check out the book at a book store before you buy off the info commercial.

Although the first book,has lots of spot light on the wrong doing by the FDA and pharmacutical companies, it does not give alot of natural remendies and marijauna is not mentioned in Kevin's book.

What I liked most about Kevin's book,is that he exspresses how important it is for us to live as natural and chemical free as possiable.

That being said:

It is incrediable at what a few pennies can do for us health wise.

I have not read the book by Kevin Tedeau, but have seen several info-mmecials with him and am always surprised by his knowledge of holistic healing.
I will have to check it out, I have wanted to for a long time but, never have.

I also am into natural/herbal/holistic medicine and feel that we can take care of ourselves just fine if the government wasn't controling aspects of everybody's lives. There have been entire reports and books BURNED for stating the benefits of marijuana. Woody Harrelson put a video out about the government and how they have altered the information available to the public about marijuana. It just disgusts me. I mean how did the human race make it this far without pharmacuetical companies? You all know the answer, natural remedies, including marijuana and opium. If everyone would just go back to the basics, this place would be much better.

Well MR.CLEAN.My vacation was not a vacation it was a sweepstakes that I won and I didn't smoke the entire time I was there.
Would I have like to smoke? You bet ya. But I didn't and I survived.No cravings,no pulling out my hair.

CIGERETTES on the other hand which is what my wife smokes(she does not smoke the WACKY WEED as you call it)are the most addictive thing on this earth.
At the Vegas airport you can not smoke anywhere period once your past security.We were there from 12.00pm and did not arrive at our destination until 2.00Am eastern time.

This was 17 hours without a cigerette and she was going CRAZY.
I on the other hand went almost an entire week without smoking and had the best time of my life.

I am in no way an addict.

You should get your facts streight before you start pointing fingers.

Remember when you point a finger,there are three pointing back at YOURSELF.

Anyone who can accept the fact and not protest the fact that alcohol and cigerettes are legal and more deadly and addictive than marijauna is has some serious issues.

I also knew a guy who went down to Florida(MIAMI AREA)and he said smoke was plentiful. You can also get the illegal Cuban Cigars there.The guy I knew was really street smart and had done time in the pin,so he knew all the steet talk and the fact that they worked in construction it made finding smoke all the better.

Florida is a main port for all kinds of illegal stuff coming in.

Florida you know is the cocaine capital.( remamber the movie Scar Face) well that was based on actual events.

So many restauraunts,bars,clubs,constuction sites,and inported stuff. If careful you should be able to get some hook-ups.

When I was in Vegas,I really wanted to get out and see alot more than what I got to.
I have gotta go back and live in the west for a while.

My job skills could virtually take me any where in America.I seen an ad in the newspaper there for the same thing I have been doing here for the last 4 years.
Good thing is.The field I am in there is a very high demand for,so I may just have to make that move and maybe sign a year lease somewhere in the west.

When I was out there,so many people that lived there had different opinions about Vegas.

I was able to meet some people from Oregan when I was in Vegas.They seem to be very laid back people,but what I meant by my comments were that.
If dakine,sets up a small garden of tomatoes and does not share or show his tomatoe garden to any of these neighbors and goes to work and acts in a normal way then everything should be fine.
I live in the bible belt and yes there are alot of nosey old people around,I speak and I am polite to them but do not hang out with them.
As far a buying on the street,well that could be more tricky,It is sometimes hard to make contacts that you can trust.
You have to remember alot of the people that are dealing and smoking are CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANTS to the police depts.

Thanks for all of the advice and info everyone. I am still looking into laws etc. but the NORML directory was of some help. The legal guidelines actually looked a little more lenient than here in Rhode Island, a blue state (we just recently passed medical marijuana laws). The only law class I've ever taken was Hospitality Law so my interpretation of the literature was probably pretty basic. As far as nosey people, there are only four or five houses on the whole street and although they are almost all old people we definitely have our own space. There are no houses on the left, right, or behind which is chioce. I think it will be all right; I do still have a few months to go before we leave. I do miss Oregon though river runner. late.

My husband lived in Florida (Pensicola) and didn't get in any trouble but, I would attribute that to the fact that he quit smoking and started drinking when he got there. He said he didn't want to take the chance trying to hit someone up for some small amount of pot and get busted. I would be really careful, not that you are careless now but, River Runner is right, they are a very red state, part of the bible belt and are very febil minded. Be carefull and good luck. That's disheartening.....although I am pretty much self reliant. I'm also a really good judge of character. We'll be moving to Citrus Springs. It's an hour or so from Tampa and Orlando. The neiborhood is really quiet. Only a few houses on a long street and we will be in the last one in the center of a dead end on an acre, so there are no direct neihbors to bug us. The land around us is protected so there won't be any mass developing, which is good to know. We are going down to get a freash start and flip a few properties. My girl is in real estate. I plan on moving back to Oregon at some point and then back here to New England eventually. Oh yeah, there's a huge in ground pool with a screen/glass house around it, that was hard to resist. Plus it was a great price and we only plan on being there for a few years. Well, I need to eat something so I'll be back. late

Hey 1969, nor-cal, XXX, wh, river, and the absent it's me. What's up. Just had a great dinner and now I'm rolling up a nice fatty of a blueberry x haze cross that is floating around Providence right now. Actually this is the first time that I have found a strain that is listed in HT as being in my city in the recent issue. Probably coincidence though. I don't subscribe 1969, I walk into the Borders at the Providence Place Mall and buy a copy every month and proudly walk around without a bag. I love the looks I get sometimes. I have yet to join NORML, but I'm like you, I'm sure that I will after some research and feedback. I would take the letters that you read on here, or anywhere, with a grain of salt. Some people may have had bad experiences with NORML lawyers but they wouldn't be doing what they do if they were'nt good at it. I'm gonna get small, I'll talk to you all soon. Mmmmm....blueberry goodness.... late

Just curious.How many of you subscribe to HT? I don't but buy it from the news stand.

How many of you are members of NORML? Again I'm not,but intend on joining.

I can't wait til I see thier faces when I go into wal-mart with my NORML shirt on.

I have seen alot of guys around here wearing clothing with pot leaves all over.

If any of you are NORML members have they ever helped you or someone u know?

I have seen some people on these letters say that the NORML lawyers would not help them for one reason or another.

I don't mind backing the cause,just don't want to pay a bunch are money hungry lawyers that are not willing to help pot people.
If they are a great organization then I will join.
Feed back is greatly appriciated.

One more thing before I run. Does anybody know the strain of the beautiful plant on the side here??? It has a nice green/almost blue looking bud with orange leaves.

This guy pissed someone off.My guess would be he was selling and cutting the profit for the commercial dealers that sell for the powers to be.

Damn man, I'm sorry that you got plowed again. I just went back to read your prior letter and after doing that I think that you really pissed off the wrong people. I also think that there is something that you are not telling us. You would have to have an extremely large electric bill and be more than a well known drug dealer for the feds to get involved in the capacity that they are involved. When I say extremely large bill I mean freakin huge. You couldn't have had more than 12 1000w at most for that many plants. That may be big but I don't think that it would be enough to get a no knock warrant. I don't know you so I can't speak to your character, but you could have burned the wrong person along your path in life or you may have been very very careless in your business dealings. Loose lips sink ships brother! In any event, I hope you pull through in the end. You seem to have a decent lawyer or you would have been convicted or convinced to plea out by now. As for your torte against the cops, I would do some research on cases in your state of residence (or arrest) that dealt with similar issues. Find the cases that were won by defense and get in touch with that lawyer. You seem to have an astute lawyer though, I find it hard to believe that he can't refer you to somebody. All the good lawyers know each other. Good luck man. late

Yea. I think you pissed somebody off and it is a classic abuse of power by the pigs...

What really gets me.I was watching this show on A&E about a guy that the police knew was a serial killer,but could not prove it.So this guy continues to kill like 3 more people before they had enough evidence to arrest him.
The cops repeatly said we didn't have the hard evideince and we didn't want to risk violating his rights.
I guess you would have more right if you were a killer instead of a grow/toker.

I beleive your story 100%,but do know enough that you stepped on somebody's toes.

See I step on some toes once and was set up by the law.

No lawyer in my small town was willing to defend me,they all told me it was in my best interest to plead guilty.

When I plead guilty,I told the judge what had occured and he simply looked at me and said ( Son I don't have anything to do with the police dept.)
So,now I have a record and the Bastard ass cop still has a job.( in another county)He was forced out by the sheriff after an investigation,But I still have my record and never so much as got an apology even though I was set up.
The fact that i plead guilty,it will always be on my record.

But be sure you don't violate a CHILD MOLESTER,RAPIEST OR MURDER'S RIGHTS.And don't even think about setting them up.

YEA I HEAR ALL YOU COPS(LOUD AND CLEAR)

And the cops wonder why they are hated so much.

I can honestly say I would not PISS on a politician,judge or cop if they were on FIRE in front of me.

I hope for your sake,maybe you will get off with a technacality.

Dude who did you piss off.......because it sounds like someone does not like you at all.something MUST have happend for them to start up another investigation into you,i do not believe they would have just targetd you a 2nd time for no reason ?. sounds like serious abuse of power on their(law enforcements) part.Present day law enforcement officers are nothing but un-patriotic military trained street soldier thugs of intimidation.Way to many of them with to much power under their belts.
