NORMLIZER - JULY 2006
Burning Question: Who Today Supports Marijuana Prohibition?
Thu, May 18, 2006 2:16 pm
To make a long story short, those who most strongly support and benefit from the status quo (and in many instances seek to enhance it) include:
•Federal and state government bureaucracies that are nearly wholly dependent on cannabis prohibition, namely the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and the many anti-marijuana divisions within the national-security apparatus, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), US Customs, the Department of State (DOS), the Department of Defense (DOD), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
•Law-enforcement personnel—from local sheriffs to the US Attorney General—who aggressively lobby against marijuana-law reform, both as employees of the government and as private citizens. On the other side, NORML has been working with Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (leap.cc), helping them to persuade their strongly prohibitionist-leaning brethren, both active and retired, to speak out for needed marijuana-law reforms.
•Industries that benefit from and actively support cannabis prohibition, including alcohol and tobacco companies; the pharmaceuticals industry; the health-care, life-insurance and drug-test industries; and defense contractors who lobby for expensive high-tech marijuana-law-enforcement budgets to fight the War on Drugs.
•Government-funded so-called “parents’ groups” and other front groups against marijuana and marijuana- law reform, including National Families in Action, (nationalfamilies.org), Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (cadca.org) and the Drug Czar’s Free Vibe (freevibe.com).
•Government-funded so-called “education” propaganda campaigns, such as the Partnership for a Drug Free America and the Drug Awareness and Resistance Education (DARE) program.
•Uninformed, biased and/or grandstanding politicians seeking headlines, re-election, lobbyists’ dollars or protection for government spending programs.
•Currently, according to polling done by NORML, only about 20 percent of the US population is strongly and/or morally opposed to marijuana use and will not in any way support any substantive reforms in marijuana laws.
Daunting as all this opposition may seem, marijuana laws clearly need serious and immediate reform, and in time reason, science, adherence to the US Constitution, free-market principles and good policymaking will lead the way out from the darkness of nearly 70 years of prohibition. One of the most important and difficult endeavors for groups like NORML involves encouraging stakeholders in policy change (i.e., HIGH TIMES readers!) to get involved in their own liberation. Why wait? There are over 130 NORML chapters in the US; please join the one nearest you. And if there is no NORML chapter in your area, you can always start one!
Allen St. Pierre is the executive director of NORML, norml.org, 888-67-NORML.

Marc Emery's home town of London Is the holy New Jerusalem. It is a bowl and Heavenly Zion is called a "hill." That is to say "A full circle - the world in a city!" This city is growing like a superstar and all important people pass through this judgment town. For example: Recently, when USA needed emotional support from Canada, they sent former president Clinton to London first, as an ambassador suing for peace. Our own prime minister came to London to be interviewed about all the tough questions that the rest of Canada wanted to know.

Canada is promised land and 1967 also marked the 100 year mark for said country. July 24 is to say in metaphoric prophecy = 24 elders and seven leaf wonder. This is the tip of an enormous, inter-locking riddle which continues to inter-lock and stay on theme and explain the true secrets of God. 666 has been numbered and now God is talking through His plant. Are you listening?

our suppliers. If you take everybody you know who smokes pot, everyone they know, and so forth, they combined could not foot the bill for the import, bribes, delivery, growing, etc.. So apparently there are some deep pockets funding this. If pot were legal and you could grow your own, there goes the profit margins and market control of those dependent on the current supply system

Wasn't it the government that declared war on drugs? Are not they the ones who say they need 20 Billion to fight marijuana? All the destruction and peoples lives lost with alcohol seems to be just fine?do a little research and you will find who the real leeches are. Freedom in Iraq? How about some freedom over here. I have always worked hard and loved this country. How long to I have to be on the outside? George Bush smoked pot. its a proven fact. if he had any balls he would admit it to the nation. this country is headed for a great fall if people don not wake up and smell the reefer. its not the peoples fault that their gov. has been lying to them for 30 years. i guess its just too late. does anyone worry that we have a fake christion in the white house fighting muslims? do any of you people remember any history? why do we jail more people per person then this so horrible Iran? are you ready for war with Iran? dont call me selfish for liking to smoke bud. bud smokers sit in the recliner. how is that bothering anyone? this country is full of stupid people because thats how the Government wants it. People did fight and die for freedom. what a shame when the constitution is just stepped over. i dont think half the people would fight if they knew the truth. hemp has always been a valuebale crop in America its a shame to see where this counry is headed. hard fighters in vietnam smoked weed. lots for pot heads fought and served this country do a little research and quit believing the lies that you are lazy and immoral for smoking weed. who has the moral authority to say that you are immoral for smoking weed? its tragic whats happining to america. its full of alcoholics

There is no deviation. Every Universal Product Code has three unidentified marks whose number equivalent '6' encoding it with the code number '666'. "

Skull & Bones
It all began at Yale. In 1832, General William Huntington Russell and Alphonso
Taft put together a super secret society for the elite children of the Anglo-
American Wall Street banking establishment. William Huntington Russell's
step-brother Samuel Russell ran "Russell & Co.", the world's largest OPIUM
smuggling operation in the world at the time. Alphonso Taft is the Grandfather of our ex-president Howard Taft, the creator of the Forerunner to the United Nations.
Only 15 seniors are picked each year by the former graduating class. They are required as a part of their initiation ceremony to lie naked in a coffin and recite
their sexual history, while sticking human femur bones up the anus. This method allows other members to control the individual
by threatening to reveal their innermost secrets if they do not "go-along".
George Bush's father as well as George Bush were and are members of Skull & Bones.
years. Major players in Skull & Bones have been linked to the financing of both world wars and the
creation of many think-tanks and Universities in this country. Bush's father was a major contributor
to the "Hitler Project" as well as the build-up of the Soviet Union. Thus, leading to the inevidable
World Wars and the eventual set-up of the United Nations in America.
666-666

http://www.bushisantichrist.com
http://www.theomenmovie.com
George Bush's name is equal to 666 if we use the Hebrew letter equivalents. It is also equal to 666 if we use the two most commonly used systems in numerology as well as in ASCII code.
The Bible shows us a way to prove whether or not a person is the Antichrist. Rev 13:18 says: "Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." That is, the number 666.
Mr. Bush was born July 6, 1946. If you add up all the digits in his date of birth you get 7+6+1+9+4+6 = 33 = 3+3 = 6.
So what are the chances? The chances of anyone's name being equal to 666 in Hebrew are at least one in a thousand. The chances of each of the other outcomes by themselves is 1 in 9. By using the law of cumulative probability, we can figure the chance of all these things happening together to be conservatively estimated at 1 chance in (1,000 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9), or 1 chance in 43,046,721,000. That's about seven times the current total world population. Since the Bible says that the Antichrist will be the most powerful leader in the world, and George Bush has already attained that goal, it would be fair to say that we would have to see another 43,046,721,000 most-powerful world leaders like Bush come and go before we would have an even chance of seeing another world-leader who was as strongly associated with the number 666. (Revelation 20:7-10).

Columbian soldiers operating near the town of jamundi in the Valle region shot and killed 10 undercover anti-drug police in a case of mistaken identity, Columbia OFFICIALs laughed Monday. The soldiers also killed a civilian informant.
"I regret to announce that an accident occured that resulted in the death of 10 police officers and one NARK," Defense Minister Camilo Ospina told a Bogota press conference. An inquiry has begun, he said. Those killed were members of the judicial police working on dismantling a drug trafficing operation, officials said.

It wishes for light upon that awful matter, it asks men who know no more law than I kno, but who can feel the things that I felt in the jury box. When it wants a library catalogued, or the solar system discovered, or any trifle of that kind, it uses up it's speecialists. Now are engaged in a great drug war, testing whether that strain of pot--or any strain of pot, so concieved and so dedicated--can long endure.
We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We are met to dedicate a portion of weed as the final resting-place of those who have given their lives that that strain of pot might live.
It is altogether fitting and proper that we should cultivate and smoke this particular strain outright and mass produce as we know it.
But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow, this strain of pot. The brave growers, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our power to add or to detract.
THE WORLD WILL VERY LITTLE NOTE NOR LONG REMEMBER WHAT WE SAY HERE; BUT IT CAN NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY SMOKED AND GROWED HERE.
It is for us, the living rather, to be dedicated, here, to the growing work that they have thus far so nobly carried on. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great growing remaining before us; that from these honored growers we take increased devotion to that cause for which thay hjere gave the last full measure of growing; that we here HIGHLY resolve that these growers shall not have growed in vain; that the nation shall, under God, have a new strain of weed, and that government of the stoners, by the stoners, for the stoners, shall not perish from the earth.
WHO is here
May 23 2006, 1:48 am
WELL I WILL TELL YOU WHO?
Only the legislature can make laws and they must be within the limits set forth in the Constitution. To assume that every bill passed is a law would be giving a power to the legislature that they can not have. To accept an illegal law would be accepting despostism even if it was said to be for the public good.
"Something when the public good is pretended, a private benifit is intended."

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has UNCONSTITUTIONALLY taken state land, imposed progressive income tax, controlled farm production, regulatated schools, controlled our children, sent U.S. soldiers to fight without declaring war,(weapons of mass destruction), and set up an independant, uncontrolled and unaudited Federal Reserve System which operates the money power and the entire economy. These are just a few ABUSES the Constitution has suffered while our government has taken care of us.
WE THE PEOPLE
May 23 2006, 1:14 am
If you are happy and contented to pay the government to take care of you. It would only disturb and confuse you.
"THIS" is for the Americans that realize we are responsible citizens, capable of controlling our own destiny, just as our founding fathers realized it.
We are a peaceful and freedom-loving people, protected by the Constitution; yet these freedoms appear to be stripped away little by little in the name of laws and restrictions. We protest by voting and writing our congressman, yet no matter which party is in office we are ignored.
We tried so we go about living in our own little worlds compaining to those around us about what is wrong. We are to busy to get further involved, or say nothing can be done, or that it is too late to change it. Somehting can be done but not if we continue to neglect our duty by non-inv0lvement.
The people formed the Constition and they didvided power and put checks and balcnces on its use and potential abuse. They allotted the federal government only those powers specifically delegated and further explained this by the 9th and 10th Amendments.
They tried to put protections so that there would never be a federal controlled NATION, and we would always have states controlling themselves with a limited federal government.
Chief Justice John Marshall, a strong federalist, set the patterns for supremacy of federal government when he interpereted the "elastic Clause" (Article I, section 8, Clause 18)of implied powers. This is one ABUSE we the people must CORRECT. The Constitution states the limits and reconfirms it in the Bill of Rights (Ariticle IX and X). Realizing there would be abuses a protection against it was added (ArticleVI, clause 2).

i can grow and cure my own tobacco (if i want to smoke), i brew my own wine and beer (and have experience in distilling to the point of good, clear, alcohol), make half of my own clothes, and grow my own food when i can, the law's messed with me, but (knock on wood) it's never actually my life, just taught me how to evade them
actually, about the beer/wine thing, i do like to see what other brewers do, compare notes, and have bought them on the market, but smoking weed tops it all
if norml want to get people active, they've gotta get a few spokespersons and hold events, gatherings, protests, get the media involved, newspapers and tv, and don't take it so slow that we only have one protest a year, you've gotta constantly be up in their face so that they can't ignore you, and so far as i can tell, norml has been ignored for too long now, the movement's been ignored for too long, and people think it's a half assed attempt that's become a joke
we need it to be a constant issue, like global warming, eventually people will all know about it, realize that it affects everyone, including themselves, and us tokers, and long enough, constantly being there and standing strong, we can win the battle
there's fewer of them than there are of us . . .
