Ps..just ran into howie who was the dead on the mountain concert series promoter back in the 90's. I did the artwork for the first concert and when went to visit him at his house in ojai, his wife beverly busted out the 20 year old tyedie from the show and sure enough, down at the bottom of the artwork are my initials and a lil pic of a potseed with our p91 family logo in it...got pics..too cool to think back all the memories and how much pnug we had then and what i would do for just one snap right now...

Raw dogg got it completly right. P 91 was my personal accident...i had the thai father..al in oceanside had the skunk mother..he and his brother grew it from seeds they ordered...a particularly amazing baby was dubbed "diamond"...it is the mom. They were crossed in playa del rey by LAX. Then p91 fam grew it around LA & SD..especially nor.co. like poway(leading to the false assumptions) escondido and s.marcos. i think its gone..lotsa imposters but the flavor was only comparable to old choc thai and the best og does have hints but not the taste p91 left..like u just chewed a dirtrock..and the flavor stuck there for hours...nothing like it since..not nl..bad rumor..best ever..true rumor

p 91 p is 4 poway / the original was a specific pheno / of a 4 way skunk x ??? nobody is really sure what/ its funny to read all the speculation, goverment project? maybe they recognized the potency and are breeding with it now but definately not originally! Northern lights back cross ?? I Dont think so (the creator ,Did not much care for N.L.)The 91 is for 1991 duh . many hybrids(of the original pheno) were made and more common. The big mystery is caused by people being over protective of (aka hording ) this gift. Cant really blame em though there was no 215 in 1991 and having the hands down best strain in town definately could make people targets. hope that helps clairify things. All we really need to know is it could be the very best ive seen, and taste a trace of it in most the popular strains today. As for finding it pure today ? 1991 was 20 years ago more people need to put the love and time in necessary to create new maybe better strains, GOOD LUCK, hope to smoke some soon

Its been awhile since anyone commented on the p91.But if your from san diego you know this is the best tasting shit ever.I dont know if it is the strongest herb or made me the most paranoid,probably both.anyway thats all i puffed for years and sorry to say i believe it has been lost forever.I havent had the real deal since 2000.It is the all time best herb.Tasty,strong,heavy and fast,42 day strain.I compare everything to the p.

Kushes like OG and Bubba are a little 2004 but their still pretty bomby, I personally prefer Headband or Chemdawg which both have that OG-cleaner smell with a heavyhit to the skull and body. Vortex is still my favorite sativa-dom strain; no matter who grows it or in what medium it always comes out nice regardless of price. What more can I say? Cali-forn-i-ayyyyy!!!

For the Record. P-91 was born and raised in Poway. When the "Ring" got raided all of it was destroyed and taken by the DEA. There is nothing like it left. There is nothing else like the "P" or the "90s". The 4 hour high, the stinkyness of the 90s, oh man to only have a nugg... =(

P91 is alwayz said to be the BEST ever by anyone who smoked it...but not that many people have. Besides p91, the next best thing would be OG SFV KUSH, in my humble opinion..

ONE THING TO BE CLEAR THOUGH!! P91 is not a Northern Lights cross, or NL cubed, and it is not from Poway..that is pure made-up story by someone searching for the truth but not knowing....
p91 was made in Los Angeles in 1991 and is a cross of a Skunk #1 seed from the Seedbank in Amsterdam (the mom) and a pure Thai from a very special collection....the p was not for poway..it was for peanutty, because it tasted so dirty and nutty flavored.....so please keep the strain histories pure like the names!

Living in the Bay Area, I come across all of these regularly except for Chemdog. I honestly don't think bammer even exists in Northern-Cali. As far as my medicine goes, I love Strawberry Cough for all of it's benefits. But, since I've only had Chemdog on occasion, and I don't even think it was the real deal when I had it, I'll vote for that.

I've only had diesel X romulan, haze (it was simply labeled haze and was a purp), guava and N. Lights. I voted for strawberry cough because I like the name so much and I'll be smoking it in a about 2 weeks. I can't wait! I haven't smoked in a couple of days and plan on not until I can get that 1/8th of the good stuff. It's hard to not buy schwag.

Its funny how most of you are like "ya ive tried that and it sucks" did you ever stop to think that maybe the purple kush youve tried is not the same as the purple kush ive tried. even though you have smoked that strain b4 doesnt mean youve smoked it to its fullest potential. Ive smoked about 3 different types of each of those on the list and they are different each time. Id say the most consistently good strain for me is purple kush.

Having recently come back from California, yes, I must say the west has some potent herb. But, NYC def has the connect. I've tried almost all on the list just living in the five boroughs. The Kush is consistent and strong but tends to tense up my muscles, I considered the Strawberry Cough and the Jack Herrer both in the mid cateogory but then again, its preference. The Purp wasnt bad in Cali and the Chemdawg is definately killer but the Sour Deisel is very consistent (can smoke it all day and still function. never lets me down) I'd have to vote Sour! P.S. - California's own "Purple Wheelchair" has to be Top 10!

i just got an ounce of some fluffy purple buds dont know what strain it would be considered.. any sugestions?

ive somked that strawberry cough, sour deisel and the purp and its close but the deisel is dank as shit and the cough is real fuckin good. But purp is kinda just every were here scince were known for it so its kinda just regular.

chemdawg 4 sure, it is under rated and very rare so most people havent experienced it. It is also the mother strain of where sour diesel originated ladies and gents...

green crack is whats good, out here in boston we dont have strawberry cough but I smoked it in Cali a few weeks ago. The green crack is my favorite tho. Out of these buds here i'd say chemdogg forreal. keep ya smoke on

i just recently smoked the jack herer for the first time about 2 weeks ago. it didnt kill my lungs and make me cough till i was blue in the face and, well yeah i dont know. i liked it. or at least i think i did... but the OG and the Purps are also mighty tasty.

The purps is most potent by far the picture gives a poor representation the other buds are dank, but if your talking about the "high" the purps gives best euphoria and sense of lightness. Otherwise best taste is strawberry cough.....

Really all these strains are very very good,what it really comes down to is what the cunsomer prefers like chemdog damb that will put you acouple hits your day is pretty much done or sour d now thats good to there all good it just depends on how potent you want ur green to be,for me super silver haze and grand daddy purps and train wreck r my favorites!!!

First off the best herb is on the west coast(california) and lately i have been seeing a lot of strains just like the ones listed above. OG kush, purple kush, jack herer all very common but what i havent seen is the strawberry cough which looks very crystally, hairy, dense, DANK, and potent as well so im going to have to vote on that

sure there's a such thing as a pot snob..i do see what you're saying though with calling it a connoisseur instead but think...what if my grandmother only could get her hands on some either less expensive or just one of the average to not so exciting pickups...would i just snob on her weed and act like i was too good for it? No. I wouldn't. that would be snobbish and rude. id probably just not try having to huge of a session assuming i didnt like the herb very much and try to bring over some real dank the next time. i live in colorado too and am very excited too see if that carnage strain youre talking about gets pushed my direction. (are you guys that new dispensary up on 44th and ward?) i'm sure that if not this summer, then atleast at some point since at least of the handful of medical patients in colorado i know, they bend the rules of their cards and all have side businesses with the herb they get or are supposed to grow and always produce more than theyre supposed to. im excited to one day try out the carnage though. keep on medicating colorado!

why are people showing so much love for strawberry cough..its very tasty, but look what else there is...youve got chemdawg and sour d which are very similar and i think a lot better...then the jack herer...could just be me but jack herer has always had the most stand out taste above anything besides maybe chocolate haze. its probably a chemdawg/sour d tie with the jack.

And all of these buds look excellent, however based on the info I would love to taste the Strawberry Cough. I have tried some of the others and loved them and a couple don't seem to special so theres my vote. We have some interesting strains we are developing here in Colorado, such as Cephalic's Carnage. So keep your eyes peeled for that to come this summer. Thanks
