Resin Dogs:

Mixing live music, turntables and guest MCs, Australia's Resin Dogs produce a mash up of sounds; modern hip-hop drenched with breakbeat, dancehall, dub and funk. In the revolutionary spirit of hip-hop they have created their own style.

Critical acclaim for Resin Dogs culminated when they scooped the Australian Dance Music Awards in three consecutive years – Best Hip Hop Act in 2001 and Best Live Act in 2002 and 2003.

Perennial festival favourites they have performed at all major Australian music events – Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Byron Bay Blues & Roots, Meredith Music Festival, Livid, Good Vibrations, Homebake, Woodford Folk Festival, Vibes on a Summer’s Day and have proudly hit the stage at Big Day Out for seven years.

Amid the Aussie festivals and tours, Resin Dogs have toured nationally with international artists Black Eyed Peas, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Ozomatli, Kenny Dope, Roots Manuva and Grandmaster Flash to list a few.

In 2004 Resin Dogs started taking their sounds overseas with sold-out shows at some of the UK’s hottest clubs including Fabric, Cargo and Carling Academy’s as well as showcases in the United States and performances at top European music festivals. And with six self-promoted tours under their belt they are set to return to the scene in 2009 bigger than ever to support the release of their third album, More.

Resin Dogs’ line-up is more than just the core members as there are a number of co-conspirators who join the band for live events and studio sessions.  MC DNO, Abstract Rude, and an impressive line-up of guest breakers, MC’s and live players is what makes any Resin Dogs show one big party.

Additionally, Resin Dogs collaborate with many diverse artists. Recent collaborations include The Nextmen, Abstract Rude (Abstract Tribe Unique), Aceyalone (Project Blowed), Mikah 9 (Freestyle Fellowship), Mystro, Renee Geyer, Robert Reed (Trouble Funk), The Pharcyde, Jungle Brothers, Mad Doctor X, Kenny Dope, Spikey Tee, Blue Rum 13, Demolition Man, and Young Gun.

However, being fiercely true to their independent roots, their own label, Hydrofunk Records, is once again home to the Resin Dogs and the established base for their many side projects.

“Definition”is the first single from the new album, More. The track is a funky Latin-flavoured slab of hip-hop beats. Resin Dogs collaborate with ARIA award winning MCs Hau and Mystro on the single. Resin Dogs once again up the ante bringing home the international flavours from their overseas touring.

HIGH TIMES PRESENTS: JORGE CERVANTES 2 ULTIMATE GROW DVD

High Times Presents Jorge Cervantes' Ultimate Grow DVD 2: Hydroponic Marijuana Indoors & Organic Marijuana Outdoors

In his first DVD international ganja guide Jorge Cervantes taught you everything you need to know to go from seed to harvest. This time, the best-selling author of Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible takes you on a garden tour of his home country, Spain. You'll grow indoors, outdoors, hydroponically---and even plant a guerilla garden hidden deep in the Spanish countryside. Filled with the common-sense advice found in his monthly column in HIGH TIMES, Jorge's newest effort clearly explains how experts and beginners alike can get started, get growing and yield huge amounts of marijuana-no matter where you are or how you're growing.
