HIGH TIMES Helps Keep Austin NORML!

We’ve all heard the popular and inspiring motto: “Keep Austin Weird” – referring to the Texas Capitol’s reputation for offbeat living. But on Saturday afternoon the town’s local marijuana activists flipped that saying on its “head,” telling citizens to “Keep Austin NORML” with a book signing by David Bienenstock, HIGH TIMES Senior Editor and author of The Official HIGH TIMES Pot Smoker's Handbook.
A sizable crowd gathered at Austin’s Brave New Books to hear the author discuss the bright future of the marijuana movement and his personal adventures working for the world’s most “green friendly” magazine, including a lengthy question and answer period.
“This is the moment in time when we can move quickly to legalize marijuana,” Bienenstock told the crowd after discussing local marijuana initiatives HB 164 (which would provide protection for doctors who recommend, and patients in need of, medical cannabis in Texas) and HB 902 (which would reduce the penalty for possession of less than one ounce from a class B to a class C misdemeanor).
Proceeds from book sales went to Texas NORML in support of their upcoming lobbying day and The Second Annual Texas Cannabis Crusade on May 2nd.
Also, Austin’s herbalists will gleefully gather again this Saturday, March 21, for the HIGH TIMES Doobie Awards. See you there!

mark your attackers,it'll make it easier to catch them. That may sound a little cold,but these people are killing people that are not fighting them,they are using the bodies to send messages to their gov't. It doesn't get much colder than that.
So getting on your knees to them won't save you,so be at least as brave as a cornered rat,and fight.

blaming the cartels and organized crime for cocaine and heroin
and,no doubt they are a true capitalistic group,but the cartels bread and butter is the marijuana market,and if we remove that,we reduce their cash flow. Less money equals fewer
guns and weapons to arm their soldiers with. This is a war we can win without guns and gunships,we will use a hoe to win.

your reps and senators home pages and it'll be easier. and send at least 3 emails a week,and more if you have time.
Only by a clear majority will we win this war,so,do your share
of the work,and add STOP the BUY,GROW YOUR OWN too the bottom of your letters,it tells your elected officials you are willing to beat the cartels by removing the market.
