Jack Herer Hospitalized

The one and only Hemperor, Jack Herer, legendary author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, has been admitted to the hospital following a heart attack, and remains in critical condition. Herer, 70, the longest serving, most recognized and best-loved marijuana and hemp activist in the world was taken ill at the Hempstalk Festival in Portland, Oregon.

 

Herer’s wife, Jeanine Herer, posted the following online late last night:

 

“High Folks, I want to give everyone an update on Jack. I just spoke with his assistant, Chuck, as of 12:30am east. Avery fast rumor coming out of Hempstalk of which I also reported on was only partially true. Jack has NOT had angioplasty yet and may not have to. Last night the doctors put him in an induced coma and lowered his body temp with ice. They are keeping him this way for 48 more hours. His heart is doing well for now so they think he will be ok soon. Chuck is staying in contact with Jack's family for updates so I'll let the list know when I know more.”

The truth is Jack had a massive heart attack, and was with out o2 for more then 10 min.
He is in a coma, and on life support.
3 nurosurgons have concluded that he is brain dead.
No brain activity, his wife refuses to remove the life support.
His assisant and the family want life support to be discontinued,and now it has become a big legal mess.
This is a sad mess, and not the way Jack would have wanted it.

I watched the u tube video and he didn't look like a man about to have a heart attack and he did say that he hadn't felt better in ten years. It must of been a very emotional speech for that to happen afterward.

All the best fellow activist,we still need you so don't go anywhere. If only we could download a mind and memories as easily a we do a computer.
Another day! And time to start preparing your ground for next years crop. Dig a hole,(posthole digger best)18 inch's deep with top 6 inch layer kept separate,be sure and put a nice sized fish @ 12 inch's under ground and sprinkle appx 1 1/2 cups of bone meal @ 18 inch level. Mix 2 cups of worm castings with the 6 inch's of topsoil and fill hole,some add perlite and coco coir for aeration and moisture control. You are now ready for spring planting,and all you will need to add is water and an occasional worm casting tea.

As of yesterday, Sunday, Sept. 20th, Jack Herer opened his eyes and yawned. These are the first signs that he is coming out of the medically induced coma, started early Sunday morning a week ago. Today, he will be getting another brain scan, to see if there is any new activity. His family is with him, and they are praying for miracles as are we all! Wake up, Jack!

From what my friends little Jack (jack's godson) and Theresa who were there next to him at the rally say, Jack was put into a coma and they aren't able to bring him out of it. They say he is braindead and that it is just a matter of time before they let him go Go in peace my friend!

Just to stop a few rumors….

My husband was one of the first responders to Jack. As soon as Jack went down, people were trying to help him as best they knew how. When my husband got there approx 2 minutes later, he took over as he has advanced CPR training for medical providers. He was providing one man CPR when one of our paid security officers arrived. Then they switched to two man CPR. As they worked on Jack, his color started to return & Jack coughed a few times.

The ambulance arrived & the EMT’s worked on him. He was transported out of the park by ambulance & they met Life Flight out on the main road. Life Flight then flew him to Emanuel Hospital.

As we stated previously, as of 9/19 this morning, Jack is still in critical but stable condition.

Additionally, a fund is set up for Jack. We helped Jeannie set it up at US BANK. Go to any US BANK branch or call them. Tell them you want to donate to the JACK HERER DONATION ACCOUNT.

They can verify for you that the fund was set up at the Emanuel Hospital branch & is legitimate.

Jack is NOT dead, I dunno where that came from...BUT, he does need to wake up like right away because the grains of sand are running against him. So along with your prayers and your loving thoughts,hopes and wishes, please send him the mental vibe that we need him to wake up fromthis sleep BY tomorrow,if not right now! We've still got alot to do, so we need ya to show us your still fighting so we can fight for you - we love you pappa Jack! And we're waiting - give us a sign .... I believe in you.... and we all want and need you, please don't give up!!

And he looked so happy and healthy on Sat... must be the amazing NW smoke! I love you brother and wish you a speedy recovery. I would really love to hear what being in a coma was like for someone so in tune with reality... my brother has Grand Mal seizures and says it's an eternity of the most peaceful time he has ever experienced followed by utter panic by those around him when he wakes from it. Brother, may you enjoy a life of love and compassion, in this world or the next... and thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and for paving the way for our current movement.
