Im not sure bout this but in the chem dog you can tell its got chemo in its background because of those big ole fan leaves with that kind of circular shape to them two cents right there

yes i totally agree with that other guy ...if those are babies...they should be under metal halides....not sodium...at least not for a few weeks....and i thought the strain was trainwreck...i have grown it ...it looks just like that....peace out 420

the strain and the type of light are disputable...the light should be a mh if its veg stage of growing...other wise perty fun test

I see that many of the viewers/readers got the HPS question wrong. You can add me to the list also. I thought it looked "cool" and not redish/orange. Also the plants looked like they were in the "veg" stage by being so short...But what if the plants were hybrids which were crossed with a ruderalis plant? Which are short.....

The light question was one of the easiest. for a minute i was thrown off by the light blue and then i realized i was an idiot because of the distance from the plants. definately a nice powerful expensive set of probably id say6 600 watt hps bulbs

I got all except the light question.. I too thought it looked rather "cool" and it looked like the plants were in veg so I figured MH.. oh well. I only got the strain question right because that plant looks a lot like the ChemDog that Greenhouse Seed Co will be releasing soon... but some are right it does not look very similar to the Chem cuts going around in the US. At least the ones I have seen anyways =/

lights look like MH to me and that dont look like any chemdawg that i ever seen and im from where it was grown and bred with the mass super skunk maybe 30% to 35% sativa at best real chemdawg is mostly indica and super stoney head and body

Never grew pot,where i live today the hemp years ago,the
industry today well its more than trailer park comments
an does it linger on the survey of which part to add thats
up to the grower,one comment was not on your survey to bake
the soil this goes back to the 1970s an the ounce that grew
if it wasnt hemp though the spekola bud thru the water pipe;
you could say you had wings,sabbath,just to give it a few
different colors an a way the song made you feel sweet leaf.
The fish filter to push through the oxygen love is...the
sweet smell of the affect of the the grower today developed
from years passed.

Love it! Haven't grown in 7+ years and still got all but 2 right!

Thought the HPS was a MH. I agree with poster who argues that buy the picture it could be either, but actually it looks too blue/cool to be HSP. My HPS is like orange glow.

Guessed on the strain, just never kept up on that kind of picture to name stuff. I chose what I grew for it's profile not looks. Though the bud closeup photos are always sexy.

It would be cool if you could click on the answers of the quiz and then submit answers to be scored rather than questions on one page and answers on the next. (And maybe harder questions next time!)

how could u recognize the kind of light, without getting to look at the bulb???? from the light that is visible in the picture u could only tell that that the spectrum is in the higher k`s and that it is rather cold and bright. the small plats also give a hint toward the lights being growing lights rather than flowering lights...

interesting looking chemdog, thought it`d be the ssh, as the blades are very thin and long.... never seen a chem dogplant before tho. does it have sativa genetics?

def looks like a metal halide light, but from my experience even young plants in veg mode do much better using full spec hps even from seed the hps grew a stronger plant than the mh.

I got em all cept the strain question. Although, #4 stumped me a bit. I've never heard of compost tea as pest control. I always thought it was just a nutrient. Then again, I've never gotten pests so I don't hang in those forums. However, I know powdery mildew is NOT pest control LOL. The strain question threw me off. Chem dawg is not exactly a strain that's easy to get. It's pretty much an elite. The leaves were thin tho so I thought sativa and went for SSH. Do I get partial credit LOL.

HPS and metal halide would both fit in that hood, with the ballast being the changing factor, or it could be a switchable ballast. As for the last one, I would argue that DWC is a bucket with water and an air stone, if you add a medium for the roots to push past its not a true DWC, I have found plants grow slower in the clay pellets, more work to put down roots.

I only got one wrong, but I admit I guessed at the chemdog answer.

How can you tell what type of light it is? I thought it was a metal halide because it looks like vegetating clones under it. I would have answered HPS if the plants were budded out.
