Market Analysis:

It was a three-way race for the month’s most submitted strain. In the end, Kush pulled away to take the top spot, but Purps and Haze deserve honorable mentions. For those scoring at home, that makes six first place finishes for Kush in ’09 (including last month’s tie), three for Purps, one for Northern Lights and zero thus far for Diesel. The top 5 submitted strains in September (with average price) were: Kush ($390), Purps ($422), Haze ($474), Diesel ($450) and Train Wreck ($375).

Index Watch: All indices rebounded slightly from their previous month’s average. However, US and Kind still finished below their year-to-date averages, while the Mids and Schwag indices essentially held steady.
