Over the past month, we’ve featured four unsigned bands on HT.com. Only one will make the leap from cyberspace to the pages of HIGH TIMES Magazine – and we need you to choose!

Each vote helps determine what HT.com Unsigned Band of the Week becomes the next HIGH TIMES Magazine Unsigned Band of the Month.

It’s a battle of the unsigned bands, and you’re a judge!

I just listened to all these bands, and took the time (yes, i'm an idiot) to read all these crazy comments. A lot like TURDS sounds like noise in my head when I'm hungover and need to throw up. AND - u guys are scandalous for writing comments on 'behalf of High Times' that bands were being disqualified, and Karma WILL come back at you. you are obviously too young to get it, but you will...... STUPID!

Let me get this straight you made a comment about the fans at The Divine Crimes shows. You said, "I'm sure your fans think you put on a good show cause everyone in the audience is high." I was just wondering what that says about Mouce's audience? And what are you trying to say about people who smoke? Are you saying they have no taste in music? Seriously, It's time to grow up! Mouses music is good as well as The Divine Crime. It was a close poll but the numbers don't lie. Have a nice Day! :)

At first I was mad at both Mouce and The Divine Crime but now after reading how ignorant the people that represent Mouce's music is, I am so freakin thankful that The Crime picked up on Mouces game and beat him to the punch. That type of looser deserves to do exactly that- and that's loose. Ha get over it producer Ass-Kiss. I'm sure you will be back checking in, with more ignorance. Amber Ladd you still have my vote hun, but now Divine Crime has my respect.

So some of these members in TDC have toured the country with HUGE reggae legends - and created some of this music with artists like HR from Bad Brains.. i guess u think they are weak too? u need to remember this band has ALOT of support from the official reggae community...and in Jamaica, so watch what you say on here cause you can't take it back and now everyone knows you just went a little too far. mouce - fire this bitch. he's ruining your reputation. fo realz ghetto blasta

Your comments just prove that the outcome of this contest is where it should be. You guys seriously destroy your reputation by making negative comments about other bands. it makes you look like a sore looser, if you cant handle loosing then you don't deserve to win. The divine crime would never think of bashing, degrading or insulting another band. Maybe you guys should take amber ladd as an example. She has been nothing but sweet in her comments and makes me interested in her music. You guys will shut everyone off from even giving your music a chance. Props to The Divine Crime for having real fans who are dedicated and believe in TDC. Props to Amber Ladd for the kind words and the positive attitude. As far as the other two bands that have nothing nice to say..... well I will keep those thoughts to myself as to not stoop down to that level. It is obvious when you look at where the Divine Crimes votes came from that they were generated across the U.S. not only where the band is from so it looks like they did a great job promoting the contest and getting the word out. The real winners here are The Divine Crime and Amber Ladd..... See you in San Diego TDC!

I would really just like to say how awesome and amazing this experience has been for me. A few weeks ago I didn't even have an article on HighTimes.com. I had *hundreds* fewer fans and supporters, and in the past few weeks I have made new friends and fans all over the world and even have some cool offers to do stuff in the future. I've been in the company of these seriously talented acts I can only see as a wonderful and humbling thing. I've been given the chance of a *lifetime*. Not a title, but the means to realize my dreams. All is not only exactly as it should be, as it is of course- but now I have a whole new view of my path and new adventures to enjoy. Disappointed?? I don't have the slightest reason to be!!!!! :-D Life is awesome. THANK YOU ALLLLLLL, MUCH LOVE!!!!!!!

All the ppl who keep saying someone is hating are full of sh$t. It's not about hate its about facts. No one has come on here and trashed anyone's music or attacked anyone personally.

These "polls" are easily manipulated and it has been posted ad nauseum exactly how to do that. All this bullsh$t about it was "dedicated fans" who were putting in votes is hog wash. TDC were re-voting, Mouce was re-voting. These are facts. TDC did win because most of the band was behind a computer voting for themselves from 10:30 EST till they thought they were disqualified and ALL of their votes immediately stopped coming in and resumed immediately after the HT admin stated they were not disqualified.

Obviously TDC and Mouce both wanted their moment in the sun badly and were willing to go to great lengths to do so. But a warning to all other "bands of the week" now that the cat is out of the bag this contest is about who can put votes in the system faster and has nothing to do with the "fans". So don't waste your time campaigning for real votes just get the software listed below and vote your asses off. Last one to get carpel tunnel wins. Or maybe I'll have some of my buddies pick a band and vote for them a couple thousand times for kicks. Sucks for the other three but blame high times for making NO effort to run a clean contest.

The entire band has extensive musical talent and are some of the most humble and down-to-earth people I have ever met!! We were able to vote more than once on the same computer. We also know that it counted each vote because it changed the percentage.

(btw, this was not in an effort to cheat, but we have more than one person who uses the same computer and we all have different profiles)

i still can't believe people are posting the fact that you can vote over and over, this is kinda funny.

it doesn't matter if your machine is cookied or not, the voting site is using remote services to count anyway and it does filter it by IP address, even if you hit the webservice directly with the correct params, it doesn't count!

before you start posting ways to counter-act a system, make sure you know how the system works. the cookie in which Dan speaks of is only used to decipher whether or not the FLASH ITSELF THINKS you've voted, even tho the vote form may come up again does NOT mean it actually recounted your vote. its just another way to make it harder to vote, but it doesn't ACTUALLY cast the vote

now its time to go back to my bowl :-)

How can you cheat on this this poll anyway, it only let me vote once from my computer so people are just hurt by the fact that they can't promote, I got a at least 10 notices from facebook & myspace encouraging me to vote & tell my friends to check em out & vote everyday. I guess all of TDC's friends have more friends than you. Many of the musicians for TDC have been around playing together for a long time, they have paid their dues networking & giging all over the world. The years of hard work are paying off guys! So when Amber Ladd and The Divine Crime where neck and neck was Amber Cheating? Don't forget that The Divine Crime and Amber both got passed up by Mouce very quickly. It prob took alot of effort and hard work through promoting to beat Mouce, but they did and they won not because they cheated but because they promoted like crazy and everything worked out for the most deserving.

As a person who watched this poll progress and with a lot of IT experience TDC and Mouce cheated and it wont take but 5 seconds of looking at the server logs see that. Even if they don't coordinate the data with vizu it will still be evident cheating is going on. If HT let TDC in the mag based on these fraudulent results fine but to ALL the other artist I'm sorry you guys didn't get a fair shake in this one.

When it comes down to it and the July issue comes out no ones is gonna remember these silly comments from the haters but instead realize how dope TDC realy is. Bottom line is The Divine Crime has tons of fans and those fans have tons of friends. So yes TDC friends and fans wanted it way more and really pulled through and showed their love and devotion. If they have 1000 friends/ fans and those fans have an average of 500 friends hmmmmmmm

Listen Up people whoever deserved to win did. Congrats Divine Crime- Get over it all others. I went to each and every one of these four bands sites to listen and see what they are all about, each one of them are good in thier own right, the only two bands I have point out that actually looked like they where promoting on their sites was The Divine Crime and Amber Ladd, Mouse had nothing on his site or sites that even mentioned this battle so his high voting % is questionable, A Lot Like Birds the same but they obviously didn't really push that hard.

So congradulations to the deserving band! All others get over it really.

yeah TDC was working real hard......at their laptops voting for themselves at an insane pace today. once again for anyone who thinks this poll is legit try it for yourself:

get the "flash cookie cleaner" from cnet.com, install it, press "delete cookies", restart you browser, vote, press "delete cookies", restart browser, vote, repeat.

go to the "comment" link at the bottom of the voting widget and it will take you to a page where you can see how many votes have been cast. go there watch the tally increase with your multiple votes. So "sore loosers unite" (obviously one of TDC) don't get so excited about your "win" yet. Us "losers" are gonna make sure HT doesn't turn a blind eye to your tactics.

I'm not saying ya'll don't deserve any shine in the mag and I don't doubt ya'll are a great band BUT don't parade around like you were able to win this "poll" based on your fan base or people's love of your music.

While I'm sure you do this poll because it generates hits to your page. But you should be aware that since the voting app is a flash object one can just embed it on a page and host it on your own server. Then one can vote 1 million times for themselves without ever visiting your site. The system is so flawed either everyone of the artist of the week should get a little shine in the mag or nobody should. Just because two groups knew how to vote for themselves nearly 11,000 times does not mean they are more worthy than anyone else.

Congrats to Divine Crime for cheating your asses off. When the phoney announcement was made your vote immediately stopped coming in and resumed at exactly 3:30 when the HT admin said you had not been disqualified.

That's what Divine Crime was doing from day one. Just look at the data. If HT can get the voting data from vizu I challenge you to look at DC's voting pattern this afternoon.

Obviously this polling system is super insecure and it seems unfair to Amber Ladd and the Birds who didn't stand a chance simply because they weren't savvy enough to know how to cheat. HT, you have know this polling sytem was insecure from last months poll and did nothing to address the situation.

I find it very disturbing that you would think that this caused the problem. There seems to already be a check in the voting app to not allow multiple votes within the poll. I was able to see this so I can see the results without having to vote. If this is the case, then maybe you should find a better polling system.

That being said, there may even be situations where ISPs do have a common IP address for providers (I know of several in Flordia, California, New York, Washington) and not to mention all mobile providers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) and the location also matters (an AT&T iPhone may have a different IP address from NY to CA, but not necessarily the case in CA).

This entire thing now seems fraud and this whole voting for best artist now seems kinda lame now. You do this whole voting, get your friends, fans to vote and now you just disqualify the top contestants b/c of a glitch in YOUR system.

K, I am old :) but I was an original hippie back when you all were too young to know what "marijuana" was ! lol
I also happen to be Amber's mom..biased ? of course..but Amber has been working her a** off most of her life at her music. She started writing songs and teaching herself to play guitar and piano when she was about 11 or 12. She has been performing and working hard in spite of roadblocks along the way, ever since. She is brilliant and talented, with an incredible voice and style all her own. She deserves recognition !!!!! Congratulations Amber ! love you !

It is possible and likely that the bands themselves are not responsible for the repeated IP addresses. Wouldn't it be more fair to delete the improper votes to see who really deserves to win?

what did y'all expect... when u reduce music to a competition... u appeal to peeps' lowest common denominator... if u left it to the music alone - like they say the tape (or cd... or digital download) dont lie... great music is, was and always will be great.

popularity contests / fan voting, pay to play, presales... what exactly does ANY of dis got to do with music? y'all already TRASHED whatever wuz left of the so.cal / los angeles music scene by taking music OUT of the equation... Incredible bands DONT play bcuz they cant draw 50 people, wont even get LOOKED at...

i personally know the Divine Crime - all my homies - and their CD is incredible... songwriting / production / musicianship...

I dont know anyone else on dat list - never even listened to the music or checked out their site... they could b the dopest, hippest, coolest shit out there right now. but my purpose wuz to vote 4 my homiez...

is it fair - hell no - but like i said... what did y'all expect? I mean its a pretty dope honor (pun intended) to b on the cover of High Times...

I just want to say that I have love for each of the bands. I know fans are eager to support their beloved band and every fan is going to think their band has the most heart, works the hardest and is the most talented. OF COURSE!! Which is JUST as it should be!! I am sure all the bands feel so blessed and so grateful, as I do, to have so much support and love behind them. I am honoured and humbled just to be included in a group with these bands who are amazing. No vote result will ever diminish, even slightly, *ANY* of their achievements now, or in the future.

I am so incredibly proud of each and everyone of the members of the Divine Crime. I watched a few of these guys over 10 year period and the heart and talent is there. More then that they are the real deal and practice what they preach onstage, off stage. Take a moment and read their bio. It's all true! Ezra is a remarkable, consistent, and reliable drummer who has devoted most of his life and energy to supporting and promoting the Reggae scene in California. Amy is charismatic and talented as they come. This woman is powerful and on a mission from Jah. She can pull you into the music and make you forget just about anything...just feel the music, feel the love, dance and Divine Crime will take care of the rest. Benji has been doing this since he was kid, Josh was born playing music. This band not only deserves the recognition, they deserve respect. I'm proud of all of you. Come on Florida! WE CAN DO IT! Get it on the ballot! Go to www.pufmm.org and lets get medical marijuana legal in Florida. It will never happen unless we all pitch in. We need about 700,000 signatures. Not many people know about this so we need to all pitch in and get on the ball with this. go a lot like birds! defiitely the most original band on here. i mean, duh, of course a poll on high times is going to favor any kind of reggae band, but i believe allb can do it!
