Bogus police rip off California pot growers

OREGON HOUSE, Calif.—Yuba County Sheriff Steve Durfor says two robbers impersonating police took marijuana valued at $30,000 from residents who were growing it legally.

The robbers dressed in police uniforms and carried rifles when they raided the home Sunday night in Oregon House, 60 miles north of Sacramento.

They identified themselves as police, then bound the homeowner and four roommates. A resident who tried to resist had minor scalp injuries but declined medical attention.

The thieves stole four pounds of marijuana and 15 mature plants from an outdoor garden.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Melanie Oakes isn't saying which police agency the robbers claimed to represent. She says that could bring the wrong response from skittish growers when real police officers come calling.

first of all the united states government is never going to fully legalize marij because they are making way to much money off of it go into the court room and look on the wall read all the people names and see what they are there for more then half is ganja the government is making way to much money in there legal system for it to be legalized the american system which is capitalism wont allow it which means the 5 percent of the world that runs this nation wont want it cause its hurt there wallets and another thing the united states legalized liqour and tobacco which kills more people in the us then marij to keep the big time companies alive like medical because your dieing and while your dieing how bout you drink and smoke some more this country and system is fucked up all i got to say o yeah keep blazzing blaze one and think about it this way if they are going to make it a medicine your still not going to legally carry it unless your sick so there for there making double the money of the legal system and the medical companies come on people its time to wake the fuck up we are a police state being controlled dont you think its time to act and step up to the plate i think thomas jefferson or john adams once said its good to see a little rebellion once in a while open your eyes and fight for your rights
