Teen Tomb Raider Steals Head to Make Bong

MORRISVILLE, Vt. Apr 11, 2005 — A 17-year-old Morrisville youth was being held on $100,000 bail after police said he raided a tomb in a cemetery and removed a head from a corpse.

"We had a person voice their concerns about information they had heard on the street," said Chief Richard Keith of the Morristown Police Department.

Keith said police at first could not believe what they had heard. But when they went to Morrisville Cemetery and investigated, they found that someone had broken into a tomb, broken open the casket and removed a man's head.

"We had the funeral director come to the scene and we pulled the casket out. Yes, indeed, we found remains and they had been disturbed," Keith said.

Nickolas Buckalew, 17, later was arrested and charged with unauthorized removal of a dead body. He pleaded innocent to the crime.

Police believe they have a strong case against Buckalew because remains and evidence were found in a silo near the suspect's home outside the village and 2/10ths of a mile from the cemetery.

"Within minutes we found the duffle bag with the remains in it and tools that were used to enter the tomb and the casket," Keith said.

The victim's widow, the only family member in the area, was told of the vandalism.

"The widow was in shock," the chief said. "She did not want any information. She did not want to know any details."

Authorities are not sure of the motive of the crime. Court documents said the suspect allegedly talked of using the man's head as a bong or a pipe for smoking marijuana.

FIrst I dont endorse stealing a head. But just to throw you guys a bone (hehe), if he was going to use it has a pipe/bong I dont think he would have used the entire actual head. Just the skull.

THink about it, all you need is a small air tight container for the chamber two tubes that would run from mouth to the self contained chamber then to the bowl or stem for bowl assembly.

You throw some black velvet behind the eyes and any other open sections in the brain cavity. Throw your chamber and pipes in the brain cavity, then spray foam them in place by filling the brain cavity with foam.

Self contained and safe. Of course you would have bleached the skull so that it was no longer a hazard any of this before this.

This would actually be a thousand times safer then smoking out of a Au can as suggested earlyer.

If you wanted to do this though you can buy pre-cleaned skulls from many places (they use them for science after all )Or a cheap mold of a skull.

Again I dont agree with desacration of a grave. But any one that says you are fucked up for using bones is just silly. People have been using bones for ages for pipes and other tools. Look up the history of pot its self and you will see that some tribes used bones.

If you want stupid using pop cans, tins, or any thing else that will reach a smoking point the same or lower then pot is just plain retarded. Metal vapour and plastic vapour are posions, bone requires a much higher temprature to burn abd is pretty safe.

It is very fucked up for anyone to disturb a corpse, especially if they have to go through the trouble of breaking into something. But, in my opinion, the most fucked up thing is that the story claims it was done in order to make a bong or pipe. What evidence do they have to make such a claim? Think about it people, there is no way you could just take a human skull and put a bowl in it for a working peice. No sir. You would have to seal up all of the holes and cracks and shit, then drill a couple of good holes into it, even then it wont look cool (which is the only conceivable reason for attempting such a construction). I personally will never beleive that this crime was commited in order to make a peice unless the dude is retarded or on some real drugs or something. We all must make the truth clear to ourselves and others through objective reading. Think for yourselves, dont let the writers do it for you.

What the fuck? The authorities are not sure of the motive, but there was alleged talk of making a bong or a pipe. Why not blame it on a pot-head? assholes cops have nothing better to do than try to give smoking pot a worse wrap.
