Snoop Busted in Sweden

You don't mess around in Sweden, one of Europe's most conservative countries. That's what Snoop Dogg found out last night (March 11) when police detained him after stopping the vehicle he was in and determining that "he was deemed to be under the influence of narcotics."

Snoop had just performed a concert with P. Diddy (another weed smoker) at Stockholm's Globe Arena. He was reportedly heading to a party, in the company of a female companion. A search found "a small amount of narcotics" in the car, according to news reports.

He was taken to a police station and "underwent some tests that will now be sent away for analysis," Swedish police spokeman Matts Brannlund said. "In two to three weeks, we'll know if he was on something." Snoop was released at 5 am.

It's uncear if Snoop was actually arrested. England's ITV reports: "He was arrested for use of narcotics. It's illegal in Sweden to use them, even to have it in your system."

Sources tell AllHipHop.com that a hotel room was also raided, where another associate was arrested with a "carton of cigarettes" that police claim contained marijuana.
