Medical Marijuana Patient Who Was Denied Transplant Dies

Washington (dbTechno) - Timothy Garon was told that he was not going to be allowed a spot on the liver transplant list. A University Medical Center committee decided this after it was found that he used medical marijuana. One week later, Garon has died.
Garon was in an intensive care nursing center at the Bailey-Boushay House trying to get as much care as possible, but it was not enough.
The committee told him that he would need to go on a 60-day drug treatment program and take part in a class before he could even be considered to be put on the list.
Garon was doing nothing illegal though, as his doctor gave him the prescription for medical marijuana.
He was turned down though by the medical center for no reason beyond his prior use of the drug.
He was taking the medical marijuana to help with his treatment of hepatitis C.
This is apparently a growing problem which has continued since the 1990s as other patient deaths have been caused by this very same reason in a few other states in the U.S.

See how you haters are? The deaths of Peter McWilliams, or Brian Epis means nothing to you does it. They died from choking on their own vomit after the government took away their medical Cannabis. Cannabis kept them alive by giving them hunger and allowing them to eat. Cannabis kept them from becoming sick at their stomach, until they were FORCED to stop using their fine medicine by the dea.

First off, condolences to his family, but some reality based facts need to be addressed here .
1) Dead one week after second denial and reconsideration? He didn't have to to die.
It takes a lot longer than a week to go through the screening process ie: rejection medications, the shit load of tests , compatibility tests etc., plus to be denying several times, the reconsideration process etc .
2) You don't just automatically get on the list . There has to be a reasonable assumption that it will do any good . (they don't waste donor organs on someone with little or no chance of survival). No shit.
2) Their hate and intolerance to the kind man was explained to the patient as early as possible so the "patient " likely knew the rules to begin with. It makes a terrible headline though.
