To the dumb ass that thinks Florida is too humid to grow pot. You should do a little research before you call people out. The best sativas in the world come from the most tropical climates. Hawaii, Brazil, Colombia, Thailand, etc. All of those place are more humid than here in Miami. Plenty of people do grow outdoors in FL. The main reason people grow indoors is so no one sees your illegal crop growing in your back yard. Go to more rural parts and that is how most people still do it.

The "russian scrub weed" someone mentioned is C. Ruderalis. For the most part it is crap, but their a few really nice strains ruderalis hybrids. The awesome thing about them is that you don't need the 12 hours of dark to get them to flower. They can grow with almost no light at all sometimes too. I'm pretty sure the Alaskan strains are ruderalis too. Manatuska Thunderfuck is definitely not a scrub weeed.

I agree with you on many points and the link you included does have some very good information. You’re wrong on a few things though. Marijuana IS hemp, and Hemp IS Marijuana, they are both slang terms for Cannabis. There are three genus species of Cannabis. C. Sativa, C. Indica, and a Russian/Mongolian scrub plant that I cannot remember off the top of my head but you would need to smoke a pound of it to get high, just like the ‘hemp’ variety!

Think of it this way, a horse is a horse! There are several breeds of them and their blood lines (genetics) will make them either a good race horse or work horse. It’s the same with Dogs, Cats, Cows, and Cannabis; it has been bred over the past Eons for their ability to produce lots of fibers, or THC production, or oil, or, or, or… there are simply TOO many beneficial elements of the plant and genes to cultivate to say any one plant is the all around ‘Best’. ‘Hemp’ is mainly from Sativa genes because it grows tall while the Indica is usually better for indoor growing because of its shorter bushy genetics.

On another thought, In most states Cannabis is the states ‘Highest income crop’, more than corn, wheat, rye, soybeans, Etc… and that is with people growing it illegally in a Mall supply room! Imagine what could be done with it in everyone’s back yard if it was Legal!!! Mmmmmmm… I’m salivating at the thought of it!

actually a hydroponic set-up is almost the best way to grow weed. the roots don't touch any dirt, i believe, and they are constantly being thrushed with fresh water. the water is always moving. it looks pretty cool once it's set-up. It makes them grow way faster too. ;D

This story made me grin. Considering the crappy-ass day I had, that's saying something.
In R.I. there was a group of kids that turned unused storage space into a home. They were there for almost six years, or so, before the mall operators had a clue that they were there.
Now somebody gets the enterprising spirit to start a grow-house! :)

The last time I checked a canabis plant was an annual plant meaning that IT GROWS IN A VEGATATIVE STATE, THEN IT FLOWERS, weather it be male or female. If male pollen does reach a female plant then it will form a seed. At the end of the plant cycle if a seed formed then the cycle would then repeat. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A PLANT HARVISTING FOUR TIMES A YEAR. You can have a set up where you harvest four times a year but no canabis plant that I have ever run acrossed can you harvest from four times in one year.

That means that 99.1 percent were low-THC hemp. Legalizing hemp would translate to laying off 99.1 percent of all agents of the War on Marijuana, 99.1 percent fewer guns, helicopters, automobiles, flack jackets, etc. That's a lot of money in government contracts.

The DEA and Department of Justice's claim that the prohibition of domestic hemp cultivation should continue because of its relationship to marijuana is a farce. There are strains of industrial hemp that are entirely drug-free.
