Edward Norton (Fight Club, The 25th Hour) plays a hydroponic pot grower in his latest film, Leaves of Grass. In the May 2010 issue, Norton tells HIGH TIMES about the research that went into preparing for the role:

“I read a lot of technical literature, and obviously HIGH TIMES as well … Even though cannabis and hemp are such hardy wild plants, it’s still not like just anybody can go out and achieve turbo-charged hydroponic weed in their garage or basement. It’s really a serious body of knowledge that needs to be mastered.”

Norton opens up to HT about his thoughts on the War on Drugs, industrial hemp, marijuana as gateway to expanded perception, and why you might recognize some of his film’s prop pot plants from Pineapple Express.

I love Edward Norton but I really wish this movie had been better. Ok, honestly, it was fucking awful. AWFUL. So bad. Probably the worst movie about weed that I have ever seen...

All Edward Norton flicks I have ever seen were all good so I'm sure this ones going be 2X as sick as any of his other films but that depends on if you like him and bud as much as I do.
