L.A. City Council Does Not Want Tax Revenue (If It Comes from Pot)

This Government we are currently being governed by, is more worried about cash revenue from the timber industry than giving what us people deserve. Sad to say but the voice of the people is gone. We have let the federal gov take too much out of liberties for their own personal gain.

Well, we will see if they still don't want marijuana tax revenue when cigarette tax revenue drops, taxpayers flee the high cost of living in the LA area, police, teachers, firefighters, and other EMS officials pay starts to drop. Corporations and other jobs flee California.
I guess want LA is saying that their city budget is soooo in the black that they don't even need any more tax revenue.

they are ignoring the fact that marijuana is already widely available everywhere but it is not benefiting our infrastructure or our economy, the revenue is being exported, they are wasting precious resources in fighting legislation that was implemented by the people of california, now the federal government supersedes the rights of the individual states and the state governments are simply ignoring the voice of the people, when are they going to be reasonable?
why is it that the politicians always let their power go to their heads, and use the government resources in order to attack and harass cannabis dispensaries, hey big brother get off our back that is why we have elections and vote for legislation, why don't the politicians have any respect for the democratic process, tyranny we don't want.

Fuck what the LA city council wants. Its all about the people. We have a government that was created by its people and the government should stand by its people. Let the people vote and we will decide what the county of Los Angeles is to do regarding marijuana.

I say if they don't want the tax money F*** them. Keep the dispensaries open as it's your RIGHT under state law, and give what would have been city taxes directly to the state.

The city council may not want that money, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the city, and the state probably do.
