Take a moment to consider how quickly cannabis laws would change if officers faced an actual fire fight when raiding growers and dealers. If, just like in the time of alcohol prohibition, police actually feared for their life when kicking in the door of even one of these so called "criminals' they'd certainly be less interested in making sure their jobs are secure and more focused on not seeing their wives/husbands widowed and their children orphaned. I believe in peace and encourage everyone to give it a chance, but know from history that sometimes the way to peace is paved with blood and violence. You want cannabis legal for all? Remind law enforcement what it's like to bury a friend and partner because he/she impeded on an American's right to choose and watch how fast the public reconsiders the legalization debate.

I shouldn't have single keeper out. Its just that he seemed like a nice enough fellow. His intentioned in the chat room were generally good, its just that we disagreed on the cannabis use issue. Why must anyone or be divided or shunned because of this one thing. Why must we argue ? Why can't we treat each other with the respect that all deserve? With the economy in the shape it is in folks, we need each other now more than ever. Christmas time especially is a good time for folks to realize this and to make this dream come true.

Just imagine how many millions of dollars they spent chasing down a harmless plant. I guess they hadn't noticed that California is broke as a joke. Maybe they should have captured it, bagged it, and sold it. Then they could afford to keep schools open and the power grid working.

I don't understand where a bunch of rich alcoholics (politicians) get the right to tell people that they aren't allowed partake of a harmless plant. Who votes for these people? What we don't know is that in reality all of those "seizures" are well preserved just waiting for 2010. When it's legal, all of those seizures are going to be SOLD back to the very people that grew them.
