Federal Judge David Carter has dismissed the case conserning Obama's eligibility to be president one month after stating the case had merit and he had to bring this case to the courts as the constituion mandates it so .
The million(plus) dollars thrown at keeping the facts under wraps was apparently sufficent .
Judge Carters peers are considering censur actions as they smell a rat .

the politicians are just stalling the dispensaries until the new health care bill passes and medical cannabis will be in jeopardy, just yesterday here in california they announced that all flavored tobacco and roll your own tobacco is banned, how does it make sense for the politicians to ban a revenue generating product in this time of crisis when we need the tax revenue, I personally don't smoke cigs but I should have the right to smoke a cherry flavored cigarette if I want, now that will create a black market and violence,

The "1 dispensary only" is troubling to me. This same issue is part of a City Council Ordinance that was just passed and currently open for discussion here in northern Calif. The thing is that different collectives/co-ops/dispensaries carry different strains based on what their members grow & supply. Since I do not grow, I am at the mercy of what is available at the various dispensaries. I guess I could find an alternative med that works as well, but the 2 collectives I frequent are because of their selection of day or night meds (each place seems to have mainly 1 or the other). Plus there is also the competitive cost issue - the collectives are encouraged to keep overhead (and hence med price) down if they know you can walk out and go somewhere else if the prices are too high. Same thing for Walgreens and Rite-Aide - I shop for the best prices I can get for what I need. Hate to see that option go by the wayside.

Do any of you realize how much these dispensaries make? They are charging insane prices, I'm here in Colorado and the average is like $45.00 for 1/8th , and $12 per gram.

I understand that it takes money to pay electricity and people have to have money to eat that run the dispensaries, but they are running these dispensaries to make big profits. It should be about helping people like THEY CLAIM. These dispensaries could cut their prices in FREAKIN HALF and still get by, then...it would truly be helping the sick and ailing.

Why pay street prices inside of a dispensary? If your able to grow your own.....DO IT !!! these dispensaries take advantage of the movement. I can't see how people flock to them and pay the insane prices. It's so easy to grow your own. Herb should be totally legal, if it ever is , I would imagine that an OUNCE of primo grade A ganja would run around $100, now that would be awesome.

Why can't they treat dispensaries as true non-profits if that's what they're all operating as? Other non-profits are allowed to take in money to pay the people working for them and cover overhead costs. Were dispensaries supposed to pay out of pocket to keep themselves open? That's not a non-profit, that's philanthropy. It's silly the council had to even talk about this, but thank goodness they're making progress.

Just yesterday (last week) the DEA removed old AMA documentation from their web site recommending cannabis be kept Schedule 1 because of the dangers.

That point made, why is the Obama administration not taking their (AMA) recommendations since it would immediately soften the public's monetary tax burden.

You were obviously using the AMA's previous recommendations to support the prohibition of cannabis, so what's up Mr. President, how come you won't use the AMA's current recommendation?
