• Perhaps South Dakota will become the 15th state to legalize the use of medical marijuana. Earlier this week the South Dakota Coalition for Compassion submitted 32,000 signatures to state election officials – 17,000 signatures are required to place a measure on the ballot.

Officials will now begin verifying the signatures that resulted from over a year of pavement pounding. If the final tally meets the state’s requirement, South Dakotans will be able to vote for medical marijuana in the November election. …More @ ksfy.com

• Mexican soldiers discovered more than 15 tons (over 35,000 pounds according to some reports) of pot in a truck in San Felipe, Mexico. Officials still are unclear on where the load was headed. The pot was hidden behind cookie boxes and “grease and garlic” were used to attempt to mask the smell. Reports place the street value of the haul between $18 and $27.8 million. Rez shuve it up your ass! Medical marijuana is a good thing for people with health problems. South Dakota need to pass a law like this so it would get the cob out of its ass and be a fun state to live in. People about stating that everyone does it and doesnt admitt it is true. Be part of a change and lets relax some muscles in the name of grooviness.

i live in south dakota and trust me when i say this everyone here gets high of course most will deny it but thats because the cops are curupt ass hell and will do anything to get this state or there town more money plus they like to make up there own laws as they go hell they even get high too shit a cop in my town got busted and he was the k-9 unit and he had my budies weed that he got busted with and found out that when he went to court that he was charged with less weed than he knew he had so ya the cop jacked his bud but i really do hope that it passes and i am going to vote (if im not to high and forget that is lol)im also tryn to get a toke the vote concert going to remind the stoners to go vote but i g2g so happy 4/20 everyone peace

thats a good thought and all but i to am originally from south dakota and have just moved to washington state where we have medical marijuana, very liberal, and a very decent veiw on marijuana and we dont even have dispensaries sooo thats probably a long shot.

I would totally love this to happen, being a next door neighbor and all.. More than likely it won't happen though, as a lot of people in SD are against pot. Look at how they can force a catheter up your peter to make you give a drug test if you "smell" or are "suspected" of using pot. Yeah, fucked up.

This being said I totally support med pot!

With more and more of the baby boomers reaching the age of retirement I think we are going to really see major relaxing of our marijuana laws. It really does not make sense to keep marijuana illegal when it clearly has very good medical benefits.
