New Hampshire Governor Will Block Decrim Bill
Fri, Mar 12, 2010 5:52 pm
New Hampshire needs a new governor. After the House approved a bill Wednesday that would decriminalize possession of up to a quarter ounce of marijuana, Gov. John Lynch vowed to veto the bill.
This isn’t the first time Lynch has stymied marijuana law reform in New Hampshire. In 2008 the House also passed a decrim bill that Lynch threatened to veto – it was later defeated in the Senate. Lynch is also the reason New Hampshire doesn’t currently have a medical marijuana program as he vetoed a bill last year that passed both the House and Senate and would have established three nonprofit dispensaries.
“We should not make the jobs of parents – or law enforcement – harder by sending a false message that some marijuana use is acceptable.”

I don't doubt for one minute that there are marijuana abusers out there, just as I don't doubt that there are tobacco abusers. Pill abusers are the worst and we share the roads with many of them daily. Getting back to marijuana, what is the real issue here? Marijuana has been shown to help with appetite. It also has been shown to help with muscle spasms. Marijuana also lessens the pressure in a glaucoma patients eyes, saving their eye sight.
Just imagine for a moment that you're sick. Imagine that you've been through every pill available for your sickness. Imagine sitting there wondering if you were going to have to live the rest of your life addicted to opiates and suffer in the fog of nerve blockers.
Then imagine discovering marijuana and finding out that the marijuana works better than the pills. For you marijuana wouldn't be about getting high, it would be about leading a normal life.
So tell me, all of you sitting on your high horse wanting to jail the sick. Is it worth it? Does it make you sleep better knowing that you've made some ones terrible life even worse?
So before the next time you open your mouth again on this topic, I suggest you know what the hell you're talking about.

We all realize that you have to stay true to those that paid into your election campaign.
Maybe you and those like you will stop looking at marijuana users as some sort of gravy train. A gravy train that starts as soon as the user is arrested, jailed and fined.
You must see past the dollars signs and do what's right for your people.

How can someone in the right mind say" no medicne for the sick"
Basically that's what they said.
Don't they understand people are going to do it anyways.
Atleast they'll have a chance to regulate it.
On 2nd thought, The gov regulating pot isn't a good idea at all.
Fuck it. Smoke weed illegally.
Just gotta stay slick

What happened to live free or die in NH? If you want to stop mixed messages, let's get rid of all the liquor stores and aisles of liquor and over the counter drugs in grocery stores. Let's also eliminate all alcohol and drug advertizing as well.
On a sarcastic note, I would have vetoed the bill myself. A quarter ounce is not enough! It should be a QUARTER POUND!

After tilling the say 5 acre land for 3 years, the land deed would be given to the person who tilled and lived on it.
The homesteading act could be a win win thing on all sides.
We would then see some real and true HEALTH CARE.
The homestead act would eliminate gang violence as well.
Taking the illegality out of cannabis would eliminate all sorts of problems for all.

New Hampshire, the world is watching, don't let the good people of Hew Hampshire suffer any longer, impeach this worthless turd of a governor for NOT CARING ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF New Hampshire. With 14 states now having medical marijuana laws working, 14 states are tending to the needs of the people, these type of states care about it's people and we salute those governor's. That's RIGHT, WE SALUTE THOSE 14 STATES...........SALUTE!
