We need a new term for the effect of Marijuana. Something a little less inflammatory. I liked the term heavy for carrying. I read here a couple of weeks ago and now I use it all the time and other are as well. It is a new buzz word if you will and adds a little secrecy to things.

Are you heavy? I'm heavy, is he or she heavy. Great word. What can replace "high" or "buzzed"? What is a word that has a positive message and can act as a substitute word for the effect?

Flight 420 you are part of the problem, does weed get you high as fuck? What does that mean exactly and could your choice of words cause more harm then good? Do you get so high you can see Russia from your house? Are you trippin balls?

Why don't you quit being a jackass and calm down on your rhetoric. Marijuana doesn't get you nearly as fucked up as alcohol, as a non-cigarette smoker I would compare the effects of smoking one joint to smoking 2 cigarettes. I would further compare Marijuana more to Valium or Xanax without the side effects of death and stupidity then I would alcohol.

Personally, I would never get into a car with a drunk driver, I have however been in cars with people who smoked Marijuana before driving hundreds of times and no one ever wrecked or even got pulled over. Was it unsafe? I don't think so. Should people who are "high" drive cars? Not unless it is necessary. I see no harm in it, but I deal with it from a frame of knowledge and experience, not from a frame of lies and slanderous misconceptions.

The main difference between alcohol and Marijuana is Marijuana makes you realize if you can't drive. Even if you were drunk and smoked Marijuana, the Marijuana would make you question drunk driving. It might not keep you from drunk driving, but it would make you question the decision harder. Anyone who ever smoked Marijuana knows this. Studies have shown you are more likely to err on the side of safety while medicated.

The world is in the grip of fear fueled by government lies and mis-information campaigns aimed directly at keeping marijuana illegal.

Dispensaries are just another store on any street anywhere in America. In MMJ states it is legal business. No children were every made alcoholics by seeing the liquor store parking lot. No kid ever started smoking because cigarettes were sold within 5 blocks of the school and no kids will start smoking Marijuana because the school bus drove past a dispensary.

To think otherwise is just foolish or being a prohib who is trying to cause issues where none exist.

Liquor stores and cigarette shops can be as close to schools as they want and stores selling medications are being limited. That make no sense at all.

I have to agree it is stupid to feel children shouldn't see cars drive into to, then leave a parking lot. If what goes on inside isn't explained to them, how would they know what went on inside? It is just ludicrous to think seeing people in a parking lot does harm.

When I was young I had no idea what went on in a liquor store and no one told me. Once I was old enough to figure it out, I was old enough to know. I wasn't harmed by it in any way. As they checked I.D. I was unable to buy Liquor there so I didn't go there to get it. I was also unable to buy Cigarettes as they were behind the counter as well. I was able to buy all the weed I wanted as my friends sold it as it was not controlled at the same level and minors were involved in the market as adults used kids for dealers.

So who is protecting whom from what?

I have to agree, while there is a good taste limit, dispensaries are just a business. I don't think anyone would want a liquor store or a cigarette stand on a grade school campus, but if the bus passes one on the way to school that is another thing all together.

What if a dispensary was right next to a school, so what? If it is a legal enterprise why hide it? NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING WRONG. Why shouldn't children see a dispensary, it isn't a whore house, no one is shooting up outside.

Everyone acts like there is some sort of crazy shit going on, it is about as crazy as the Wal Mart. People go in and buy things and then go home. OH! NO! don't tell me children see people driving cars in and out of a parking lot! What has the world come to.

Easy solution , to see how ballsy the Feds are. Get just one state to pass legalization, and I mean total legalization with no medical or having to get a permit bullshit, just pure legalization for adults to use,grow, possess Cannabis. Then see if the Feds would send military troops into that state risking a nation wide civil war. As soon as one state passes legalization , making things like they were pre-1937, then...it will spread to other states.

Your happiness isn't the point, medicine is a business like any other, they sell medicine. Medicine is a part of the process, if you let people treat themselves with a common weed how will you make money? People might treat themselves prior to seeing a doctor or buying an aspirin.

We can't have that for obvious reasons, it helps you to be happy, saves you money and could, if not controlled, cost our overseers billions.
