hemp oil has no protein (it's just oil), but hemp seed has quite a bit - vegans use it instead of whey protein, and people choose it over soy since some people are allergic to soy, don't like the phytoestrogens, or it gives them gas


i've been mixing hemp oil and vitamin E as a skin lotion for quite a while now and it works well, never tasted it yet - people say to use it as part of a salad dressing, since it's nutty tasting, all i can say is it does smell nutty


also, DO NOT HEAT hemp oil! it goes rancid easily and must stay refrigerated (probably why people 100 years ago didn't use it much as food)

Thanks for the tip I will check it out. I have used hemp products many time and they are always great. I use hemp hand cream exclusively and it is the best ever. If you have any skin condition this stuff is great. I get it at the body shop.

My Dad had some trouble with cancer on his head that left some bad spots. He was using some prescription stuff and it wasn't working, so I got him some and it cleared up the issues. He stopped using it and the dry spots came back. He used the prescription stuff, once again it worked OK, but not as you would like. I got him another tube of Hemp hand cream and once again his head was like a babies butt.

Would another cream have worked as well? Don't know didn't try anything else, just know the prescription shit didn't work as well as the hemp oil hand cream that cost $5.00.

The Doctor told him to keep using the Hemp oil hand cream and now he recommends it to others as well.

I guess my main point was we can not grow hemp and that means we have to import it from other countries when Americans could use the work and farmers could use the money.

Marijuana has long been known as the ideal rotation crop as it actually breaks up the soil and prepares the field for the next crop. Marijuana would also be the perfect crop to stop land slides in California as it has one of the strongest and fastest growing root systems.

I am going to try and find some hemp oil and see how it tastes. I bet it will be good, I have never had a hemp product I didn't like.

So Hemp oils are second only to soy for protein, have EFA's and Omega-3 this stuff sounds like a miracle food. Cures many diseases and can make clothing, can be made into paper and fuel an all round miracle plant.

I was watching Weed Wars and they showed a guy who had a 4 year old epileptic son who had seizures every single day. The kid had been on 11 different anti-seizure drugs and was a ZOMBOY for his entire life. The guy actually said he had no idea of his child's personality as he was always on sever drugs.
