L.A. City Attorney Files Suit to Close All but 41 Medical Pot Dispensaries

Los Angeles city officials announced last week that only 41 medical marijuana dispensaries, clinics, and collectives are eligible to stay open under the city's new ordinance. Now the City Attorney has filed suit against the remaining 135 dispensaries who thought they could stay open - asking for a temporary restraining order and injunction against them to make sure they close their doors.

Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich wants a judge to enforce the city interpretation of the new ordinance. The 135 dispensaries who thought they would be able to stay open should have received letters last week explaining why the city has deemed them ineligible.

This is absoluetly ridiculous, the government seems to jump on and off the back of cannibis and it needs to stop. marijuana is an herbal remedy. It is the number one herbal medicine. what more needs to be known about it before they legalize it. Americas businesses are ment to be ran to keep are economy in flow, why shut down dispenseries? the only thing i can think of is casue they sell cannabis, you dont see them shutting down to many private owned corner stores in an area.

maybe someone from high times should try to reach out to this guy who is a classic case of Schizophrenia because he does want to kill people because he THINKS and BELIEVES that voices want him dead. How fucking long do the staff at high times need to stop laughing, and look up his ip address and at least let someone know , at least even if they think they're is nothing they can really do.
I mean i am all for saying what the fuck ever and privacy and all that shit , but damn you don't need to graduate from junior high to know that this guy is living a personal hell and needs help .
How bad would high times and marijuana in general look if this guy ends up going on a rampage and the any media find out about these postings, because the cops sure as fuck would find this after some "incident" and then fuck everyone for trying after the fact.

Or get rid of the comments even though you need the website hits to sell bullshit fake weed advertisements that are probably such a turnoff to the poor teenager that buys the crap and thinks everyone associated with marijuana including the biggest magazine about it in this country , is out to rip him or her off like a bunch of shitbags. But i guess that's another subject .

Quite strange - consider the obvious: In about two months, herb wil be legal in California. All this legal drama the right-winged tight-asses on the L.A. City Council (and their prosecutor) are perpetuating here is an obvious waste of everyone's time - so it must be vengeance for the sake of vengeance. Strange Mo-Fo's.
