60K Marijuana Plants Quarantined Over Pesticide Fears

According to the USA Today, approximately 60,000 marijuana plants have been quarantined and temporarily barred from sale by Denver city officials. The plants were reportedly treated with unapproved pesticides that could lead to health problems when inhaled. The Denver Department of Environmental Health has ordered holds on 11 different grow sites in the past month and a half, and in two instances the growers voluntarily destroyed their plants.

With so many plants on hold, there is some concern that a supply issue could arise in Colorado.
