HIGH TIMES joins the Quadracci family and employees in mourning the death of the surviving founding partner of QUAD, the premier American printing company.
Betty, with her lifetime partner, Harry, founded QUAD in the early '70s, shortly before the founding of HIGH TIMES in 1974. Due to HT's controversial nature, uncompromising advocacy of legalizing cannabis and avowed mission of subverting the laws against cannabis by teaching the world how to grow clandestinely, no other printing company aside from QUAD would print the magazine. QUAD has printed HIGH TIMES for 39 years.
Harry and Betty devoted their lives to the First Amendment and to helping others. They will be missed, but their traditions and social commitments are being carried on by their son, Joel Quadracci, other family members and 25,000 employees. HIGH TIMES salutes them all.
