It was a year ago on April 15 that the father of the modern cannabis movement passed away. Jack Herer dedicated his life to legalizing the plant. Thousands were inspired by The Emperor Wears No Clothes, his book exposing the myths and celebrating the miracles of marijuana, and thousands more now reap the benefits of his life's work as the legal cannabis industry gains economic strength. So let us know what you think: Should 4/20 be renamed Jack Herer Day?
And a friendly reminder, everyone: Jack's family remains in debt as a result of his final medical bills, and there's a formal memorial being planned as well. This year, on our national holiday, light up in honor of Jack - but help keep his memory alive, too, by lightening your wallets just a bit.
