FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- A Fort Pierce man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly brought his marijuana pipe to the St. Lucie County Courthouse.
 
According to a sheriff's office arrest affidavit, Clinton James Gordon was detained at the courthouse after a security officer found the pipe among the items Gordon had emptied from his pockets at the checkpoint.
 
A deputy was called to the scene and determined that the pipe smelled of marijuana and had marijuana residue in it.
 
Gordon was arrested and booked at the St. Lucie County Jail on a drug paraphernalia charge.
