State police CNET officers have arrested a Syracuse University student from Plattsburg with 240 pounds of marijuana.
On Sunday, December 11th an investigation by the New York Sate Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the Onondaga County District Attorney's office and members of Troop D led to the execution of a search warrant at the residence of 22 year old Adam N. Hainer of Marietta, N.Y. Seized during the search was over 240 pounds of processed Marijuana along with approximately $36,000 in U.S. Currency.
Hainer, originally from the Plattsburg, N.Y. area, is a student at Syracuse University's Environmental School of Forestry. He was arrested for one count of Criminal Possession of Marijuana 1st, a Class C Felony and was arraigned in the town of Otisco.
Justice James T. Foody remanded Hainer to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $100,000 cash or Bond. The investigation is continuing at this time and more charges are pending.
