Tool is set to headline the second annual Mile High Music Festival along with Widespread Panic and Colorado locals, The Fray. The festival, which will take place in Denver, CO July 18 and 19 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, will mark the band’s first return to the stage since 2007.

Last year’s festival provided 70,000+ fans with a wide variety of talent as it brought together artists of varying genres – and this year is no different. In fact, concert promoters looked to improve the diversity at Mile High 2009. Currently, 50 bands – encompassing rock, jam, electronica, folk, indie, soul and more – are set to perform on the festival’s four stages over the weekend.

Bands confirmed to perform include: Tool, Widespread Panic, The Fray, Incubus, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Thievery Corporation, G.Love & Special Sauce, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Gov't Mule, Buddy Guy, 3OH!3, Ani DiFranco, Paolo Nutini, The Black Keys, Gogol Bordello, DeVotchka, John Butler, Gomez, Jack's Mannequin, The Wailers, India.Arie and many others.
