I once watched a video of I think one of the first competitions they held. They put these contestants on a housebout where i believe to be somewhere in Europe there job was to smoke the best marijuana of the year and had as much as they could smoke at thier finger tips. The only catch was that they could not leave the expedition with any pot. It was a pretty cool show but one kid talked all this shit about how he has been smokin for years and then the next day woke up and withdrew from the festivities. I have stayed mad at him to this day how could you have the oppurtuity of a lifetime and throw it away because u cant handle ur pot. He totally wasted a true stoners spot. They would have to ask me to leave twice im sure. What we this guy thinking If given some of these same oppotunities I would not let the true potheads of the world down that is for sure.

I'm with z mac. I'd LOVE to see the World Crack Head Games! Too funny. Of course I'd prefer to watch from some form of fortified cage or enclosure cause once the crack is gone, those mf'ers are gonna tear the place apart looking for all the "Lost Rocks". Anyway, even though I really don't smoke weed, I went to the games anyway. Went with a friend and had a blast. Only took one hit the whole night, and that was off the winning joint from the "Joint Rolling" event. They said they were going to feature a pic of it in the issue covering the WSG so I figured "what the hell, at least I can say I hit that joint". I had plenty of fun just drinking beers and watching. So much fun, in fact, I'm keeping an eye out for the next one and will be attending again. Hopefully it's also in Toronto.

Attended the games last night and had a blast. For being a first time it was a great time. Two suggestions for next year. Better lighters for the bong contest, because mini bic's with big hands really sucks!
The second is hire better comedians next time. I'll hook you up with Mike Wilmot for next year. Hes a great stoner and funny as hell. The High Jump contest was a hoot. URGENT!!
We arrived at the address provided this morning at the time we were given(10AM). There were 3 of us and 3 other fellas along with a janitor that cleans the place. The 3 other gentlemen were also mis-informed of the start time. The janitor made a call and told us it was scheduled from 4PM - 10PM, not 10AM - 4PM, which sounded like a strange time to start this type of event anyways. We did not recieve a response via email regarding a confirmation of the start time once the money was transfered. Because of this wrong info one of us cannot attend and we would rather get our cash back at this point. This operation seems to be lacking a certain level of proffessionalism and we would like to be re-embursed for our inconvenience(Which we all know, won't happen). We worked our schedules around the provided time and now it's all for naught. Time is a valuable commoddity, but at this point it's only ours that has been wasted, not to mention money and gas. We need this issue resolved by 2:30Pm at the latest. A swift response is needed, but not exactly expected based on what we've seen so far. I guess we made the mistake of assuming that High Times involvment in this event would somehow have prevented all of this, or crap like this, from happening. But silly me, how we're all so quick to forget the Cannibnus cup in Holland. You would think by now arranging events of this size would be childsplay for the High Times organization. Too late I guess. WHAT A SHAME!
P.S. We just want our money back.

I went to the High Times Toronto Cup this past June and was disappointed with the samples, glad I brought my own.
I don't think they'll include samples, considering the low ticket price. There was only 6 samples for the Toronto Cup, even though 'at least 15' strains were guaranteed, and that for $250.

Can we get some actual information on the fucking event? I don't care about the dumb shit, let me know whats gonna go on other than me watchin a bunch of fucks smoke. Is there gonna be ANY bud provided? Do I have to bring all my own? Is there anything else going on other than the events? Toronto is such a great place to chill and enjoy some of the worlds finest genetics.
We took the Green Scene Tour and enjoyed some Kush,Kali-mist, nebula, shiskaberry, jack herer, a few baked goods and hell we were only in town for 2 weeks. The Toronto Cup was hosted by High Times and they came through for everyone quite nice, be patient.. I'll be heading north for the games and look forward to meeting many of you.

I purchased them July 18 all you will get is your ticket numbers and where the event is held. You should recieve it in a email, you might email them asking about them. It would be nice if they told you a time of the event and what was included in the 125.

The entry fee must cover the buds that is toked for the contest, I wished I could come up with the funds to be able to go and be a particepant, but I am recovering from Lung Cancer and Am on disability so money is a BIG issue for me. But if I had the money to buy a ticket and the Gas to get there from here in Northern Indiana.....I know I could be jn the top 3 at the very least!
