Court Returns 12 Pounds of Pot to Acquitted Medical Marijuana Patient

When Richard Daleman was arrested in December and charged with possessing and cultivating marijuana for sales, it seemed unlikely he’d ever be reunited with his confiscated stash. However, that is exactly what happened outside of the Tulare County Courthouse late last month.

In March a jury acquitted Daleman, a medical marijuana patient in good standing. This prompted a judge to rule that Daleman’s medicine, which had been stowed in the courthouse evidence room, be returned. After prosecutors delayed the return of his property, Daleman decided to head down to the courthouse and retrieve it himself.

Daleman proceeded to roll out 12 pounds of marijuana from the courthouse and load it into a waiting truck. Before driving away, however, Daleman made sure to weigh (and sniff) his medicine. All in all, Daleman admits, “They maintained it pretty good.”

HA bitches!! Finally a pothead that received justice!! It PISSES ME OFF that one can legally buy alcohol that then turns them into an obnoxious, rude, disrespectful, annoying DUMBASS that should be in jail. They're then a danger to everyone around them. Alcohol KILLS!! Pot SAVES!! WAKE UP DEA!
Im surprised that they didnt tax, charge, or fuck you any way they could. You know those pigs pinched a lil bit while they still had the chance...dirty fucks!! If They arent going to legalize, they should at least let you keep you're stash when you do get busted.
And I agree with the other guy,"why cant potheads spell?" Its easy...its called a dictionary!! Dont blame the weed man, blame yourself. Our sweet Mary Jane already has a bad enough reputation. Lets try to help our beloved herb succeed, instead of fail. Choose your words carefully! I could go on, and on, about topics like these, that are morally WRONG, but it would take too long. PLUR forever!!!

wel lets see . i dont take asprin ,pepto bismol, sinus meds,pain meds,flumeds or any other kind of synthetic drugs, but i do smoke pot,and it works pretty good for me and without all the dismol side effects of u.s.a approved medicines but hey fuck we are the ones voting them inyeah im pretty fuckin fed up with the laws today its simply refuckindiculous.i hate liars and stupid people and our countrys leaders take the cake oops i fucked this comment up but im not starting it over so just figure it out.any body ever heard of protest? voice your opinion loud and proud and people will listen people need to start standing together and up for one another if were to get any where . peace

let me understand this, its legal to get stinking drunk all falling down pissing on yourself, then drive a car kill a mother and 3 kids. but its not legal to sit in my own house smoke pot not bother anybody... im proud to be american but in ashamed and of our governmant

lies lies lies . when i was a kid in school the teacher shoed us a videa of a man and woman smoking pot and was told this it what will happen to you if you smoke pot thay then proceded to drive off the cliff all lauphing n shit. the paople who are saying its not time to legalive pot are the same peaple who still saying pt is bad for you

I SAW THIS STORY EARLIER AND IT STILL AMAZES ME THAT THE POLICE GAVE HIM HIS MEDICINE BACK WITHOUT SOME SORT OF FOULUP OR MISHAP ON THE PART OF POLICE.
