Totally agree with johnny blaze. No one quits pot for no reason, Pots a great thing!! Fucking DAMN! expensive though. I'm all for a top ten strains list. But the statement about photos making High Times famous in the 1st place brings up a point.

The articles made High Times famous, I love good photography but the mag has to quit treating stoners like horny teenagers. I love the mag and the cause, but get back to your roots High Times. Radical articles (not shock value, but real articles), and photos that show more than a pot plant. This is a lifestyle mag, give us more of the life. Peace and respect.

Doesn't he sound like a disgruntled former employee of the mag? This guy comes to the Cup almost every year and yet badmouths it the whole time online, cowardly hiding behind the internet. He's as quiet as a church mouse at the event however, lurking in the background watching everything, ready to report to anyone who cares a.k.a. fellow trolls.

Danny Danko is a tool, it doesnt matter if its him or Nico or Bobby Black. They are talentless hacks who couldn't get a paycheck from a real journalistic endeavor. I agree with Really and the many many others who have dropped by for a bit of fresh air!

Do a review, an honest review of Danny Danks post BBC writings. They are mostly cut and paste from the manufactures own brochures.
I am not anti Danny Dank, Bobby Black or Nico E. They are nice enough everymen who are short and stocky (well, maybe Black isn't stocky but those tight, girl shirts he wears does him no favors and to be honest, Nico E is merely short on brain, experience and personality)
They would be fine as a person on a forum that I could ignore.
But the magazine I loved, that I bought the 1st issue of, that I looked forward to, is long gone and what is left is representative of a vacant culture gone awry! Power hungry idiots without the God Given sense to know how impotent and insignificant they are, meanwhile they make themselves dumber to reflect their incredibly stupid naive readership who as someone else stated want to know if they should piss on their plants. They exploited the stupid (According to Steve Hager when talking about the Cannabis Castaways fiasco)Being in High Times is NOT conducive to staying free.
High Times doesn't even matter. Cannabis Culture in it's prime gave HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of dollars to the legalization movement, so much so that Karen Tandy head of the DEA unit that busted him claimed in a press release "The legalization movement has lost a major contributer today!"
High Times give a page to NORML, a corrupt and ineffective organization that has done more to hurt legalization than help it! MPP (Marijuana Policy Project) has done more in less time because their real goal is NOT to refer marijuana lawyers to defendants!

DNA always gets ink so their Lemon Skunk is no surprise BUT interesting enough there are better Lemon Skunks! Incidentally, Green House Seed Company who makes a better Lemon Skunk was given a nod for their The Church, a decent enough strain but one that Arjan has been pushing recently and Voila, IT appears on the top ten strains! Adams A-Train and Subcools are bones. Plain and simple, Adam does a LOT for the Cannabis Cup and Subcool and MizJill bitch and moan whenever High Times overlooks them. But just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, they come up with VISC (An Emery friend Knockoff seed company) and Delta-9 Labs who thankfully have pulled their 8 week Columbian Red pure! Now they have taken to crossing others hard work and thinking they are breeders! The point is I am SURE, EVERY SINGLE GROWER would come up with a different list, a better list, because we wouldn't have to lie and cheat to sell a seed! Don't for a minute think that seed selling isn't big business. That is why Dutch TV caught Arjan cheating! That is why they throw more and more money at tricking and fooling judges into thinking the bigger party or the bigger giveaway is the best way to get their vote for best grass or hash! Led by Arjan, they know judges are stupid and they exploit that! It seems to me, with the current talent less hack crew they have in there, they are expanding that to the magazine and their "lists" The 2 ft gnome Bobby Black and the Short Squat Troll Danko have taken over the asylum, head for the hills!
