My name is Jay I am growing plants I have been for a couple years now being I have many medical problems and do not like the pills for pain when this beautiful plant does just the same without nearly as many chemicals being put into my body. Anyway I had just switched to hydroponics and for the most part it is working wonders on my plants but 3 of them are not doing good my purple urkal is turning a very light green. The second a plant known as knock out got burned up on accident my fault and the question on that one can I cut off some of the fried fan leaves being there is new growth growing in and they are just taking up light. My third plant is also a knock out and it is doing very well just it was the first one to go into budding while she was still under my 400watt MH and on an 18/6 light schedule and was wondering what could cause that.
My set up is a 6-foot tall by 4x4 room with sufficient airflow a consistent temperature of 73 or 74 degrees during the day and 63-65 degrees at night. I have a 400watt MH for veg. and a 400watt HPS for bud. I am using a 10-20-10 water-soluble plant food with micronutrients. I guess my last question is what should I use now that I am in budding? If you could email me at jrjay420@yahoo.com I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time and help.

I been doing research and read a lot but I can't seem to get the most important answers. The Hydro shop has instructed me to start growing in soil and then move to hydro. My wife and I can Grow up to 24 plants at a time.I think I have a good understanding of equipment needed just not shure on space and don't want to go to big. My spare room is 8ft long, 6ft wide, and 6.8ft height. We have limited funds and are ill so building my own room is out of the question.
I am thinking 2 grow tents one for vege and one for flowering, with 8 plants flowering, 8 plants vege, 8 plants cloning am I Right?
Second Question, can a grow tent be used for soil or is it strictly for hydro?
Third, What size tents do I need to buy for the number of plants and each stage of plants for best yield. What size would work height-lenght-width?
Fourth, what size lights do I need 1000wt or 600wt 400wt bulbs? I plan to use a vent hood but am concerned that I will still fry my plants later in flowering stage as they reach 4ft or so and keep in mind I have a 6.8ft ceiling.
Fifth, Am I correct in thinking that after a few soil grows switching to hydro I will be able to re-use most of my equipment ex. tents, lights, fans, ductwork, timers, kind of a two-for-1. Any help or critcism will be greatly appreciated and thank you so much. tommy

I'VE BEEN GROWING FOR A WHILE NOW AND I'M IN THE PROCESS OF EXPERIMENTING WITH SOME DIFFERENT TYPES OF TECHNIQUES. MY BUDDY AND I WERE TALKING ABOUT GRAFTING A PLANT. WE REALLY DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT BUT WERE IN THE PROCESS OF JUST TRYING IT OUT BC WE THINK IT WOULD BE A FUNKY, AND A COOL THING TO DO. DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS THAT MIGHT HELP, OR JUST SOME GENERAL KNOWLEGE ABOUT GRAFTING. LOVE YOUR DANNY DANKO SECTION KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

In the state if Michigan growing 19 plants is a misdemeanor and 20 is a felony. Because i can only grow 19 plants, harvesting 2 plants every three weeks, I want a breed of marijuana that is extremely potent, fruity, and uplifting but packs lots of weight. Which strain do you recommend?
These are the breeds I am considering: Blackberry, Mazar, Chronic, White Russian, Fucking Incredible, Romulan, Big Bud, and Amsterdam Flame. I am open-minded though. If you have any better sugestions I would appreciate it! Thanks!

What if you'd advised a young, "budding" Soma, as well as all those inspired to greatness, to do the same? What cherished strains might we never have enjoyed? Personally, I don't thing discouraging discovery in such endeavors is a good path... we all learn through our failures, even more than we learn by our successes!

My plant is about two feet tall now, but the leaves are sagging a little bit. I just transplanted it last night into a bigger pot, and I'm wondering if the plant is in shock...... It's a shativa plant. What kind of soil and nutrients are good for it at this stage, and how much light should I be giving it at this point?
