As a kid I would plant and grow bird seed, just to see what would grow. After moving to Northern California to do the culinary thing in my 20's I was inspired to try and grow all those cool things that one never knew about growing up in Los Angeles. Yellow wonder strawberries, saffron, golden raspberries, giant pumpkins, miracle berries, finger limes, wonder berries, and on, while continuing to work on the cannabis industry. Lately cacti of all varieties have captured Dopamine's interest, with a focus on grafting. As someone that likes to push the envelope, I learned the vascular system of cacti and figured out different, unconventional ways to graft. I consider it bonzai for cacti. A ‘modern day renaissance man’ is a moniker often used to encapsulate my breadth of knowledge.
