2016 U.S. Cannabis Cup & Carnival: Day One Recap

The first day of the 2016 U.S. Cannabis Cup & Carnival kicked off on Friday with thousands people filling up the NOS Events Center for a day packed with music, seminars, carnival rides and lots of gorgeous bud.

The carnival theme was in full swing with circus performers and acrobats taking the stage.

But our favorite herb, as well as our wonderful vendors, were the real stars of the show.

Beautiful slabs of concentrate were at the ready, with most booths offering free dabs.

And gorgeous glass could be found around every corner.

Everyone got in on the dabbing action.

For those who prefer flowers, there was no shortage of bud.

Rapper Kurupt lit up the Mally Elite stage while promoting Moonrocks created by him and Dr. Zodiak.

Attorney Dale Schafer spoke about California's new MMRSA regulations to a packed and captive audience.

Expert dabbers and beginners alike got in on the action.

As night fell, the celebration didn't slow down!

The bud was plentiful—and so were the dabs—at the Shatter Boys booth.

We couldn't get enough of the gorgeous slabs of shatter.

Blue Sherbert was the dessert of our choice.

The night ended with some awesome music, and Snow Tha Product killed her set.
