A new Harris poll targeting urban gardeners on behalf of Green State Gardener found that the generation most interested in growing legal weed is millennials, followed by baby boomers. About 26 percent of millennials (up from 14 percent in 2015) and 18 percent of adults (up from 10 percent) would grow the plant if it were legal, the nationwide poll found. For self-identified gardeners, the percentage interested in the plant is even higher: About 40 percent of millennial gardeners and 35 percent of baby boomer gardeners said they would try growing weed in the legal landscape.
