Who knew the author of Little Women wrote about bud? In her work, Perilous Play, Alcott devises a scene where a woman indulges in hashish. Though many of the quotes in the play could be considered weed quotes, this one attempts to describe the high. And it does so, in precise and definitely perilous language for her time.
