Luxury Cannabis Label Sherbinskis Launches Vaporizer Pen

The premium-flower brand is trying vapes on for size.

It’s a busy time for Sherbinski. His eponymous cannabis brand Sherbinskis, long recognized for its premium flowers and distinct core strains like Sunset Sherbert and Gelato, has officially entered the vape scene.

“About 18 months ago, I saw the sales of vapes really start to climb,” Sherbinski tells High Times. “It’s now up to around 40 percent of the market. I’m known for flower and felt I had a good grip on that, so I decided to develop a vape that could add to the list of quality products Sherbinskis offers.”

The end result? The 510 Cartridge Vaporizer Pen. “I wanted to make sure we had a safe and reliable device we could stand behind,” Sherbinski says. “That was the most important thing.”

With its sleek design, medical-grade hardware, and wide lineup of all-natural THC/CBD oil combinations, Sherbinskis’ first foray into the vaping world makes quite the statement.

And that’s the point, according to Sherbinski himself. At a recent Business of Fashion event, he said that cannabis has “its rightful place” within the luxury industry. It’s only a matter of time before consumers begin demanding more high-end, elevated products, and the Sherbinskis brand has positioned itself to be at the forefront of that movement.

“I’m here to carry the flag,” he remarked at the event, which also included a discussion with Clement Kwan, founder of Beboe, a California-based cannabis brand that’s in the same luxury league as Sherbinskis. Business of Fashion points out that Beboe was once referred to as “the Hermès of marijuana” by the New York Times.

Both entrepreneurs have embraced a more couture touch for their particular brand of cannabis, using chic packaging and quality, well, everything to sell their upscale products. It’s an entirely different approach within an industry that’s growing like rapid fire but that can, at times, feel like it’s spewing out more of the same.

The introduction of the Sherbinskis vape pen is just one more example of the brand’s dedication to being best in class.

“We put a lot of time, energy, and effort into researching and developing the flavors, oil, and hardware to make sure it’s up to our reputation and standard,” Will Htun, Sherbinskis’ CEO and co-founder, said in a press release. “We have such great flower and are sought out for our premium, boutique genetics that we wanted to make sure and have the same offering in our 510 vaporizer format.”

Htun goes on to explain that California’s recreational market is ripe for opportunities to reach people who are wary of traditional means of cannabis consumption, but who may be more inclined to give vaping a try. “There’s a new set of customers who have never smoked cannabis before in their life and are more open to vaping than rolling a joint.”

In addition to the vape pen, Sherbinskis dropped new genetics and debuted an apparel and accessories line. “We’re a cannabis company at heart, so apparel and merchandise hasn’t been something we focused on,” Sherbinski said. “However, now is the time to offer our supporters something they can wear and use that our team also enjoys every day.”
